- the smell - the wet carpet in the corridor after a shower (???) - the rot in bathroom -the sticky yellow (originaly White) shower curtain - the cracked paint
Staff was helpful, accepted my very late check in, printed my boarding pass on checkout. Room was clean and quiet.
Wi-Fi signal was weak, only near the window.
The atmosphere was good and the breakfast was excellent.
The room was clean Staff were helpful
Outdated rooms from 1970s.
Dirty carpets Mouldy bathroom Lack of restaurant for evening meal Smelly shower curtain
Very friendly staff. Excellent position for the Expo, right next to Hall 1. Very good value for money.
The billing system needs seriously attention. My debit card was overcharged by £200 and then instead of it being credited, an additional £300 was allocated to my card. I am sure they will sort it soon, but very inconvenient in the short term.
reasonable price, location near Metro
Wifi is not available in rooms internet is down in the night and unsteady during the day
we have visited this hotel twice now and have be more than happy with our stay will be back soon
The room had no airconditioning , no tea or coffe facilities , no extractor fan in the bathroom , no WiFi.
the location across the tram was excellent just cross the street and you could be there
the bathroom was very dirty and disappointing, the whole hotel needed a major upgrade for what they charge.
There was no fuss or hassle, warm and friendly staff. Brilliant location, the train station on the doorstep. 20 minutes and we were in the heart of the city. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good value and convenient stay in Brussels.
The only thing was paying for the car park at 8 euros which I would have thought it would be included in the price. But this is a very minor concern overall a good stay.
Enjoyed breakfast. The staff, particularly the weekend staff, went out of their way to be helpful!
Far from everything, although by the end of our stay we became quite proficient with public transportation.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Easy access from the dual carriage way and the metro stop near the hotel.
The parking was 8 Euro per day. The receptionist was absent on arrival. There was no security and anyone could have got into the hotel.
No WiFi in the room.
close to the metro, safe parking place,
extra costs for parking place, staff was indifferent, smell in the room
Quiet room and excellent breakfast. Hotel in good location for easy access to Brupark, Atomium and multiplex Cinema facilities. Also close to Metro and buses for city. Very good value for money.
- Easy to find & accessed by car or public transport. - Availability of car parking. - 5 minutes walk to train/bus station.
- During check-in the receptionist charge some amount from my credit card (she said for deposit), while in check-out she charge again full amount from my card.
A bit far of the center but next to the metro station Heysel so only 10-15 minutes from the center. Small but comfortable rooms, relaxing bathtub, good restaurant, good breakfast, no problems!
Good location for the Atomium and public transport
Room was tired and needs a major revamp, house keeping was poor, no proper coffee only decaf and seems that the rooms only get a quick wipe over. No storage space even for a bag!
I could see the Atomium since my window and the Metro stop is in front of the hotel.
It is far from the center.
Internet connection was good in my room and the TV worked - I managed to watch a couple of World Cup matches. The proximity of the metro and the Expo landmarks is also an advantage.
The amount charged on my credit card was not the same as that shown on this site at the time of booking! About €25 more. The place could do with some refurbishment too - cracked bathroom mirror, broken toilet bowl, smudged walls and all sorts and shades of stains on the floor.
It was updated. It had convenient parking. It had an excellent breakfast.
I didn't like paying for the parking. I like to use a washcloth in the shower. So I missed that. Since it is associated with Holiday Inn, I wish they had asked us for our member number. We forgot.
Breakfast... direct metro to brussels centre
A little far from center
