nice location (close to metro station, Atomium) breakfast was pretty good, yet always the same pretty clean rooms
NO WIFI in rooms dirty carpets in corridors needs renovation in general
Poor breakfast old Tv to smal room
Good location (near the metro station)
The room was very small, the window couldn't be closed properly, the water in the lavatory was flushing continously, free Wi-fi available only in the lobby.
Excellent location for the Expo. Lovely reception staff. Excellent easy access to the tube station and local food areas.
Ignorant rude guests allowing small groups of yappy dogs to bark constantly, luckily i was very very tired and soon fell asleep after a hot bath despite the shrieking of the mini hounds from hell.
I went Brussels to a concert and the location was really close from the hotel... the breakfast was nice as well.
The bathroom wasn't cleaned enough, no wifi in rooms only reception area. The building is pretty old...
- Close to Atomium and mini-Europe - Quiet suroundings - Bed was comfortable
- Paid parking for guests, not as advertised on the site - Couldn't close window properly - Everything looked so old and ditry except the bed
Location next to Expo, next to highway, next to Kinepolis, bed was very good, breakfast buffet fine, terrace
A bit run down, business hotel. No wifi in the room, only in the bar
Friendliness of reception staff, location suited us
Hotel is in dire need of an overhaul. Rooms dated, but adequate for a one night stay. No restaurant
there is no kettle in room
- Friendly and helpful staff - Close to public transport - Very close to Expo, just 1 minute walk
- Room was very dirty, especially bathroom - Towels grey not white - Smell of smoke on our floor - Wi-Fi works in the lobby only which is impossible for 3-star hotel
I was at the Expo for the dog show and it is next door and you can walk to the Chinese restaurant and there was no problem with all the dogs as there were many of us for the dog show. Very convenient and car park is secure with a large garden to walk your dog.
There was dirt behind the taps and the bin did not have a liner. The plumbing was out of date but the water was powerful. The bathroom was out of date but good towels. The whole place needs a renovation. There was no wifi in the rooms. The bar was limited and not many staff.
There was nothing that I liked
The hotel was horrible, I don't recommend to anyone to stay there
THEIR FIRE ALARM DOESN'T WORK, THERE WAS A FIRE AND I WAS ASKED TO EVACUATE MY FAMILY RATHER THAN SOUNDING AN ALARM....SEEMS F'D UP
Location to expo
The Staff where Excellent, the bed was adequately comfortable and the rooms fairly clean considering this is due a refurb atm excellent value for money.
The Rain :-) , wi-fi was a little slower than usual.
The location was good, metro nearby.
No coffee making service in room, carpet in room was grubby. No wifi in room but was available in public places within the hotel.
Staff was incredibly unprofessional. The "I could not care less" attitude was patent in each member of staff, who were also extremely impolite and unwelcoming. The room was dirty, stains in the carpet that clearly nobody even tried to clean, walls in bathroom full of stains of calcium and even dust from a long over due cleaning... Parking facility for 8 euros is ridiculous considering the area you are at, should be included in the price when the occupancy of the hotel is low. Everywere the old Holiday Inn logos were still showing, even the keys were still the "holiday inn" ones. I don't understand why the fact you pay a lower price should be equivalent to such a low service and quality. Stayed for just one night and this was more then enough...
Close to ground Close to metro Friendly and helpful staff Excellent breakfast
Probably would pay more for extra comfort if visiting for anything other than football
we were able to walk to our concert at Palais 12. Great value for money. Included a full breakfast (eggs, bacon, juice, coffee, croissants, yogurt, fruit). Secured parking lot is comforting. Clean rooms.
The bathroom was clean, but it is getting old and tired looking (a few cracked tiles) and is in need of an update.
Next to Expo
Room was dirty, staff was not interested in anything but themselves. Restaurant closed (was not going to be closed for that period according to website). Never again!
I decided to stay at this hotel because of the location. I went to a concert at Paleis 12, which is a ten minute walk away. The hotel is less than 2 minutes from the Metro station into central Brussels.
The hotel is very much in need of refurbishment. My room was small, poorly furnished and the carpets were very stained, but the linen was clean. There was nowhere nearby to eat in the evening but the Metro station is very close, and cheap
Location excellent close to the tube station and the EXPO if you go for business there. 1 minute walking distance
The pillow is too soft. It needs a double glazing urgently Too noisy The bar too expensive 3 eur for a coffee Quite old
- the smell - the wet carpet in the corridor after a shower (???) - the rot in bathroom -the sticky yellow (originaly White) shower curtain - the cracked paint
Staff was helpful, accepted my very late check in, printed my boarding pass on checkout. Room was clean and quiet.
Wi-Fi signal was weak, only near the window.
The atmosphere was good and the breakfast was excellent.
