free parking bathroom was not so clean. Room maid woke us up on Sunday morning at 8 AM, 9 AM, 10 AM although it was our last day. We thought the rooms would be cleaned after check out. Next time we'll use the "do not disturb" sign.

It's location was perfect for our continued trip across Europe - it is a great last stop before the ports of France or Holland. The walk from the hotel to the city centre was magical and gave a great insight to a city we had never visited before. The Christmas markets were on, so we had a most enjoyable evening and it was a very pleasant end to hard day's drive and an unenjoyable hotel the previous evening. The hotel receptionists both on arrival and departure were pleasant, freindly and very helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious and the coff making facilities were much appreciated. Excellent value for money will definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was very good.The room was spacious with good quality bedding There was no Wifi in the hotel public areas. To use the net in the room you had to use a cable. However the connection speed was so poor it was unusable.Also if you had a smart phone or ipad there was no way of connecting to the net.

Spacious bedrooms with good bathrooms, good quality breakfast buffet. A dependable hotel for a winter stay. Why does the excellent breakfast buffet have to be spoiled by the playing of such dreadful music? Some of the English language Christmas numbers played in the week before Christmas were cringe-making. Perhaps the former smoking and non-smoking divisions in the breakfast room could be used for music and non-music?

I'm used to go to this hotel for years, and they keep a very good standard of quality/ comfort. Location is quite convenient (10 min walk to go into town along the Meuse river, free parking, little park behind, on the way to Sart Tilman / Science park / university). Swimming pool, small sauna + hammam. Breakfast buffet is OK but could be cheapper (16 euro).

Considering the price, very good quality - the location was relatively central, the rooms were clean and well provided for, the staff was helpful, etc. Like many places in Europe, the breakfast was more expensive than could be justified.

We read some of the other reviews and were a little scared that it would actually be a one star hotel (animals in room and things like that), but we experienced the opposite! We had a nice big clean and cheap room, with free breakfast because there was a (maybe) noisy wedding downstairs. Noise didnt bother us and wasnt loud at all and the breakfast, different from what we read in other reviews, was actually perfect! Loads of choice in cold and warm food, croissant, fresh juice, bread, fruit etcetc. Definately worth the money (even if we'd have to pay 8eur for it)! Ps. Free crisps with beer in the bar;) Pps. They do have wifi, for free and very very fast! In rooms and lounges (60CCEC52F9 pass w/caps) I cant think of any downsides of this hotel for us personally in during trip.

The location was excellent for easy walking access to the city but also for ingress and exiting from Liege. The staff were great, being very cheerful and always welcoming. The bar meals were of good size and very tasty (no restaurant in Hotel) but would be a bit restrictive if staying longer than a couple of days. The spa facilities were of a good standard and plenty to chose from. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The outside of the Hotel needs tidying up; especially the car park but don't be put off by the state of the Hotel surroundings Not having a restaurant in the Hotel would be an issue for families.

Excelent break fast, good facilities and room. The location nearby, the main bridge is under reparing and it's create a lot of trouble for reaching the hotel, the traffic to get the centrum is quite bad. If you want to use the free parking, specially on weekendes, is quite complicate, due the palais de congress, is very difficult to find a place. Private parking cost 10 euros per day

View of river good, staff friendly, room comfortable, minibar / bar prices reasonable. Parking difficult - ended up in slightly unsafe feeling underground carpark, hotel overall needs a bit of a refit - no WiFi in 2011 seems a touch archaic. Overall hotel is adequate and probably value for money, but inclined to look elsewhere next time I'm in Liege area.

The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The selection of food at breakfast was excellent. I booked this particular hotel because it had a swimming pool, unfortunately when we went to use it there was an aqua class going on - naturally the children were dissapointed. Also we had not been informed that swimming caps were requied

The staff was good. Buffet Breakfast was also fine. No refrigerator in the rooms.. Certainly does not match with their claim to be a four star hotel. The air conditioner also did not work properly.

The staff of the Hotel is very nice, but the Hotel itself is horrible. The room was dirty. I found a cockroach walking on the pillow (ugh !) The airconditioner was loud all night. The balcony was full of dirt, it is a old hotel and is falling apart. No room service, By all means I will never go back to that hotel!
