Very good, friendly staff, breakfast excellent, very clean, excellent if you have business connected with European union
Hot water not available early in first morning but second day ok. Charged city tax again even if on booking.com it was already included
Good location Decent breakfast
No heating in the room (we visited in December so heating is kind of...very important!!) - it was so cold that the sheets were freezing and woke me up several times a night Old furniture Dirty chairs Sad ambiance (not even a Christmas tree)
Location not bad as its just down the street from the Schuman Metro Station (check the map as it not directly visible - it's off a side street)
Breakfast couldn't have been better... but I am fussy...
the location comfortability
Hotel was fine, nice square in the neighbourhoud with restaurants and bars. Center easy to reach by metro.
- location, it's within a walking distance from the city centre. It took us about 30-40 minutes to get from the Bruxelles Midi Station to the Hotel on foot. - nearby the EU Parliament and Commission + Carreffour Express. - Nice staff.
- Terrible Wi-Fi, you cannot surf almost any website. You have to pay for a better connection. - The sheets were yellowish and I felt it wasn't their original colour. - The woman at the reception desk told us, they didn't have the room we'd booked but we can have something else. I agreed, got the keycard lock and, surprise, surprise, it was the room we had booked. Why the confusion?
very good facility, very clean, the location is very near European Union
Wifi signal very poor, the internet speed is low, only for web
I prefer to use coffee maker and taste flavor rather than instant coffee.
The staff, cleanliness and available facilities were excellent. The hotel is quiet and welcoming and we would certainly visit again.
The wi-fi was a little weak in our room but just about usable for what we needed.
- It is situated very close to the centre and to the subway. - Very helpfull staff, they explained us everything using their map. - Very good and rich breakfast
-Our room does not offer any town view, we only saw some roofs.
location close to the EU buildings
charging for wifi AND what actually is not more than free-to-air TV is a new low for hotels; remote was clumsy; slow elevator and cumbersome access to the street; two separate cheap duvets instead of proper bedclothes; price way over value
the hotel was lovely, well appointment, large rooms, great location, great breakfast, very helpful staff
lift was out of order and we were on the 4th floor, proved a challenge - however we did get free parking and minibar
The metro station schuman is close to the hotel, the staff very friendly. And the breakfast excellent.
I am very satisfied with the quality of staff, friendliness and sense of service. It is by far the best hotel experience we had with my girlfriend.
The location of the hotel is pretty good. Half an hour walk from the center, a large park nearby, lots of cafes a block away. Hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is completely adequate. WiFi works, even the free one.
We could not figure out the airconditioning and gave up on it. The hotel provides only winter blankets that are useless in warm weather without airco. A party has started at 11pm at the neighbouring house and despite calls to the police was still not over at 1 am. The soundproofing of the hotel windows is poor and we requested another room at 1am. That room was to the street and even with the windows closed it was still fairly noisy too. The sleep was pretty bad, I think we will look for some other hotel in the neighbourhood for the next trip.
the friendliness of staff the cleanliness of the room and quality of the bed
the price the breakfast buffet was very limited
Quality, luxury feel. Staff very helpful. Very good breakfast choice included. One of best value B&B experienced
There was wifi incompatibility with some apps.
It is very cheap.
It is not very clean.
Somewhat near from metro station & bus stops. The room is spacious, had both bath tub and shower. There is free WiFi now.
The hotel is under renovation - there is literally no lift (they are replacing it) and three floors (4-5-6) are closed. Only rooms on 7-8F were refreshed. We stayed on 2F, I suppose that as soon as they complete replacing the lift, all other rooms will be renovated also. As someone already mentioned, there is almost no good places around to eat, especially on weekends. Breakfast is too expensive - I can always have my sandwich and a cup of coffee anywhere for at least 2 times lower price.
The staff and the rooms.
Currently schuman metro is under renovation so no elevators or escalators working.. it's a headache if you got luggage or with kids.. Hotel too forgot informing about their own renovation and elevators not working in premises. As we had a infant it was really bad managing the same. Or else all is fine, Nothing for vegetarians for breakfast,, the restaurant does not have a full time cook which was annoying
Due to the reconstruction there is no lift in the building! Dragging the luggage to the 3rd floor might be a challenge. The staff will offer you a helping hand and a free drink as a compensation ;)
The hotel reception areas is very modern, breakfast was good as there was a lot of choices to choose from.
Staff didn't talk much, wasn't very welcoming. Wifi signal is very bad in rooms but strong in the reception.
A very good hotel, and the staff at the reception - I have no words how good they are - helpful, understanding and doing a lot more than you would ever presume. Thank you!
The hotel is located at a very central place so it is very convenient if you have work with the EU institutions. All the areas were well maintained and clean. I stayed on the 6th floor and although my door was next to the elevator it was very quiet. The bath was very clean and all facilities looked new. I came to Brussels on a business trip just for 24 hours, managed to get the rest I needed, and started the day revitalized and well fueled with a strong breakfast (well worth the 15 euro extra charge) that, thanks to the warm weather I could enjoy at the patio. Due to my short stay I cannot give an opinion about the wi-fi although in the room I think it has a free 2-hour limited option or a full unlimited option for an extra charge. Still in my room there was a cable to connect your laptop for free. Overall the price-to- value ratio is excellent and I'm very glad I choose Holiday Inn Hotel Brussels-Schuman.
I am very happy for your service
