Hotel information

Our gastronomical restaurant is closed on monday and tuesday. The hotel is open 7/7 with service of a half board menu to the hotel clients on monday and tuesday evening.

The terrace provides you with an opportunity to relax or enjoy a wonderful meal as you take in the amazing views into the distance over the plains of French Flanders, which formed the front during World War One.

Food & beverage

Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:30.

Solange Bentin creates classic dishes with a woman’s touch, giving preference to the best of local produce. Solange has the distinction of being a master-chef of Belgium, a member of the elite Disciples d’Auguste Escoffier and was voted Lady Chef of the Year in 2000. There is a separate room for receptions and parties.

You’ll understand and appreciate Erwin Van der Kelen’s passion for wine when you see his extraordinary offering of world wines, Various sublime drops are available by the glass, including the excellent local Heuvellandse wine. Erwin is a master-sommelier and was awarded a prestigious wine diploma in 2006

Our one night stay was an enjoyable one, had a few beers in the bar on arrival, great views. Book a table for the evening, the food is wonderful. Our room was clean ,would stay here again.

The food at the hotel was excellent and could not be faulted.

The hotel rooms are quite dated and could do with a refurb, although the rooms were clean.

The location of the bathroom within a rather small bedroom was not ideal, but only a minor inconvenience.

Excellent position with lovely views from valley room/balcony. We chose the mid price menu for dinner which was excellent. The food is modern unusual and delicious. Breakfast was also very good and freshly prepared. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Room was a bit small, but was clean and did have tea/coffee making facilities.
