The friendly welcome even though we were the last guest to arrive. As a private small hotel the quality of service was excellent and the restaurant was definitely a quality choice. We travel to Belgium quite a lot and finding a location and small hotel is always difficult to match our budget and requirements. As a disabled friendly hotel the lift needs to be larger as we had to have a 1st floor room, but we could manage. We do like the rural aspect and did not find traffic noise a problem as it is off the main road. If the alterations continue it will become a sought after location. For disabled wheel chair users the ground floor is the best option as the lift is too small.

That the staff were helpful and honest - they refunded some of our room rate because our paperwork said breakfast was not included when it was. We decided not to pay the extra but would never have known we had already been charged, so it was a welcome surprise to get some money back!

We zijn heel goed ontvangen in Hotel Mardaga.Het personeel is er heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was heel verzorgd en lekker,alles heel vers! Zeker een aanrader en voor herhaling vatbaar.

De vriendelijkheid en de ontvangst. Prettige de luxekamers, een aanrader. Ontbijt met champagne prima verzorgd. Het diner was aan de prijzige kant met hele kleine hapjes. Je was eigenlijk wel genoodzaakt i.p.v. alleen een hoofdgerecht, het volledige 3- of 4 gangenmenu te nemen. In de omgeving zijn vrijwel geen andere restaurants zodat je bijna wel verplicht bent om daar te gaan dineren. Overigens was het eten uitstekend.
