This hotel is great, in the middle of the country side, it's relaxing, but you need a car to get in Brugge ( 10 minutes by car). I recommend it

Coffee & tea facilities in room. Free parking outside hotel in grounds. Used for one night only as overnight stop, similar to travelodge in many ways. Breakfast lack of choices, basic. Restaurant food expensive and small portions. Hotel hard to find, satnav could not find. April 2012 - access to Brugge off motorways severely restricted from the south. This causes problems getting to hotel, have to do an unadvised right turn.

The staff are generally helpful and the hotel had disabled facilities which a number in Brugge have not, unless you increase the budget substantially. My friend and I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in 3 years, however on this trip we noticed that prices have increased substantially, especially the voucher for the taxi into Brugge. This has increased from 12 euro to 26 euro!. This was just too expensive so we had to use the car and pay the high parking costs in the city. Also, the rooms are looking tired and the decor worn. When I arrived there was no toilet paper whatsoever in the room. My friend who is in a wheelchair, his room fared worse. The TV was not working and the tea, coffee making equipment was missing. He had to move to another room. Why was this not done before our arrival seeing as we had booked 3 months in advance? Using a laptop wirelessly is now expensive and there is never enough sugar with the tea coffee things Lots of little things made this trip far from relaxing! I doubt we shall return here again, which is a shame.

Room was big, spacious. Internet was working in the room even thou stuff informed that it's only in the lobby. * Becuase of local road works it was impossible to find it. I had to finally call the hotel and ask how to get to them. Additional signs could solve the problem. * It was very cold in the room. The radiator was too small. * no heating in toilet, it was freezing there,

Due to construction works, the only way to get to Bruges is to double- back to the motorway and drive on to the next junction. This probably triples the journey time to Bruges and we should have been informed of this prior to booking.

Only 5 mins from Brugge by car and very good value for money. Staff were friendly too. Room was a bit tired, could do with a lick of paint. Also shower was affected by running sink tap, be careful not to get burnt!!

Reasonably priced and fairly central location. We used the bus to get about and enjoyed visiting Brugge and Ghent. Hotel was plain in decoration but clean with use of fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and loads of hot water.

Hotel was all good. Nothing amazing but nothing wrong. Currently roadworks on main road so was hard to find even with satnav. Compared with other hotels in the area was very cheap so we were very happy considering the price. About 2.5miles to Brugge (50min walk). Also good bus service nearby as an option. Staff all friendly and rooms were big and clean. Food and drinks appeared reasonable, however we did not sample any. Free parking on-site. Wifi stupidly expensive - €5/hour. Was very unimpressed with this. Only wanted to check our cash passport balance. Just a note not really a negative - Take the hotel taxi service. Was offered at €24 return. We hired taxi back from centre (although very late 3am) it cost €20.

We stayed here as an overnight stop before traveling home to uk on channel tunnel. For our purposes, the hotel was very convenient next to motorway. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. The restaurant was closed on Sun but there was still a good choice of bar food. The room was large and comfortable and did not suffer from road noise. Would definitely visit this hotel again. You had to pay to use WiFi. This is however only a very minor complaint.

The hotel is easy to find from the motorway and is within easy travelling distance of Bruges either by car or taxi. It's a bit isolated so you either have to eat at the hotel restaurant or drive to nearby villages. Bathrooms also need some attention (mould round bath seal etc)

Having breakfast outside. The female receptionists who are very ill mannered. They haven't even once answered back to our many "good mornings" and "good evenings". Also, we are not so used to being treated as guilty unless proven innocent. At the restaurant, even after handling the vouchers to the female clerk, somehow she thought that we didn't have the right to have breakfast (I wonder what the vouchers are for then). And as we were doing check-out the female clerk asked for us to pay for the breakfast fee, although we had already payed for it. Only after producing the receipt would she believe it, and no excuse whatsoever followed, but a very cold "good bye". One has the feeling such employees would do better in other businesses, like lion taming, for instance.

Staff always helpful, buffet breakfast good quality and choice. Pool suitable for the kids without being too big. This was our 3rd visit and won't be the last. The location is excellent for De Haan and Brugges. It really has all we need.
