Martin’s Brugge is just behind the famous 13th-century Belfry and 185 yards from the Grote Markt. It has a terrace and a cocktail bar, and all rooms have a flat-screen TV.
Score from 2220 reviews Very good
Everything is nice but I expected a second bed for my daughter. There was only a space for an extra bed or a travel cot.
Thin walls and doors
The very friendly staff, the excellent breakfast, the location.
Handy access to and from main motorway. 24 hour reception for late arrival.
Very easy to get to from E40 motorway.
It feels safe at the Leonardo due to its location. No worries about car safety
We stay once or twice a year and would not return if we did not like the hotel.
Nice size room. Up to date facilities.
Too far from Brugge, the main attraction. No local transportation. Parking is difficult in Brugge.
quite close to Bruges. comfortable room. very good breakfast. polite staff.
The day time staff were really helpful. the hotel setting in the woods is really nice. the bar is very good and the beer is great good taste and nice and cold. food in resuarant was first class. Rooms are big and compfy. excellent value for money.
Evening staff were not as helpful and freindly as the day staff. 15 euro for breakfast is a bit expensive.
delicious dinner, friendly staff, nice room
there is no electrical outlet near the bed, bathroom needs to be refreshed soon...
Free Parking Quiet location Good sized rooms Comfortable beds Fair price for the area
Staff were clinical and cold.
Overall the Hotel is reasonable value and is good across its range of offerings.
The location is difficult to find if you do not have GPS. The directions on the website will not bring you to the Hotel unless you have a gps to get you the last couple of miles.
Nice and comfortable bar
Could not receive Dutch tv channels
Hotel was excellent, everything you expect from a chain. Nice and comfy, and good value. We drove, so parked at the hotel, then drove to the grain station where you can park up and get a bus into Bruges included in the parking price (just be sure to get your tickets before getting on bus).
It was a bit far out of town, so wouldn't be good if you didn't have a car, couldn't really explore bruges in the evening... (couldn't drink as had to drive)
Fair price Breakfast was very good
The beds and sheets were very clean, but everything else was dirty
Nice clean and comfortable family friendly hotel just off the main road between Bruges and the Loppem and near the a 10 motorway, plenty of parking space at the hotel, far enough away from Bruges city centre but not too far (excellent parking at the railway station car park for 3.50 euros a day) Staff in the restaurant and bar very friendly and helpful and was overall good value for money. Would definitely stay again when I re-visit Bruges.
Found the person on reception a little bit frosty, otherwise most of the staff were very kind and helpful. Was delighted to find uk-tv channels but could not turn the sound up, I believe it must be regulated which I can understand but not good for the hard of hearing like me.
The size of the rooms where brilliant, spacious and comfortable good heating system and nice amenities. The outside area had a nice layout.
The signs to the hotel where not easily visible hard to find hotel initially and also the bed was very firm and so for 4 nights wasn't comfortable.
Everything was lovely. Hotel location was brill, really easy to find, tucked away and really quiet. Restaurant was very good quality. Easy to get to brugge by car, even walk if your fit enough. Clean, well maintained and very good staff. Will be staying again.
Bloody european pillows
Lovely hotel with large room, plenty of space to spread out. Restaurant had lovely food & staff were most helpful.
Room was clean but old fashioned and not at all special in any way. Staff were great and facilities excellent but room ' bog standard'. Most people want a little bit of specialness from a hotel room...the leonardo does not provide this.
Needs to present more modern and a bit more luxurious...bit too plain and ordinary....a few changes in furnishings and decor wouldn't cost much but could make a huge difference
Noisy. No real windows.
Business type hotel, with full facilities. Part of a large German chain. Breakfast decent
Far from the centre of Bruges - no bus or shuttle links. A car is essential, about 6-7 minute drive (not walkable even if you're tempted as it's via a motorway underpass).
value for money
Location is bit far from city center, but if you have car, this is nice place to stay.
Large hotel rooms Comfortable beds Helpful staff advising us the best way to get into Brugge Nice breakfast
There was no safety deposit box in our room
Affordable cost. Quiet surroundings. Free parking !
Noise isolation isn't good and you can hear neighbors speaking on the phone at midnight. Public areas are worn out, especially carpets. No public transport from the hotel to the old city, only the taxi for 26 euro.
