Quiet and sober hotel, informal but correct staff. At walking distance of major points of interest in the city-centre. Streetcleaners must have their start somewhere in the neighbourhood, early in the morning...Maybe the roomrates are a bit too high. |

Nice and sympathetic staff. Very good situation in the center of the city. Rooms are clean. Rooms are small, but convenient for a short stay. |

Good proximity to the city center of Liege. I stayed in a single room : overall poor conditions, bed occupying nearly all available space in room, key and door from another age.. Poor lighting, bathroom and shower nearly unusable because of reduced space. Could be acceptable if you do not have much luggage. |

Convenient location, spacious room, peaceful (no excessive noise can be heard in the room) Bathroom is incredibly small, staff aren't that helpful if you only speak English, breakfast is not value for money, long walk from Liege-Guillemins train station (although the other two stations are close) |

- perfect location (the hotel is located on the quiet street in the city center); - good ratio between money and quality - the bathroom is very small and there are no towels for hands. |

The hotel worked for what we needed it for. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not sample the breakfast as we were up at 5am to go to the Belgium f1 Grand Prix for three days, but the set up looked nice (apologies if we woke anyone else up when we were leaving). The hotel was in a convenient location for the centre of town, close to some tasty restaurants. The Liege Palais Station is probably the most convenient stop (Liege Guillimins station was a bit too far to walk with a suitcase!! ...Spoken from experience!). The room was spacious, but the bathroom cubicle was very little. The price for the hotel was very over priced during the time of our stay (140 eur) being due to the Grand Prix, and was definately not worth it but that was the cheapest that was available at the time of booking. |

The only things I liked about this hotel were it´s location and the photo of a young Jack Nicholson in my room. I stayed here for one night (fortunately!). The room is called "basic" and that´s just what it is; I wasn´t expecting anything fancy from the beginning. However, I don´t think it actually deserves the amount of money paid for one night. My reasons: 1. There is no bathROOM per se, you just get one room (quite tiny). In one of the room´s corner is an improvised bath, where behind carton walls, the shower, toilet and a sink are all crowded in this confined, improvised space. 2. The room had a window, but this was not orientated toward any open space (the street, a courtyard, anything) which would allow fresh air to enter the room. The window was on the side of a tiny quadrangle (think 1x1 m) which wasn´t even open at the top as one would expect. I didn´t notice this upon my arrival and when I did, it was too late. Without any fresh air to enter the room, it was really hot during the night and at some point I couldn´t even breathe. This was not a pleasantly experience at all and I didn´t expect it would turn up this way. My advice: ask for another room from the beginning. If you´re suffering from claustrophobia, avoid it. |

Hotel was clean and pleasant - staff were friendly - made welcome. Room 14 - smallest hotel room and shower I have ever seen - in the heat this room was unbearable - I had to stay out til around 10 before I could go to the room. The weather was hot but that room was over 40 degrees at 9pm - I actually checked. |

The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing, shopping and leisure activities in Liege. My room was really small and had no real window (the window overlooked a wall of a deep inside-house ''well''). The pipes in the bathroom made a terrible noise for a long time each time I used the bathroom. The room was cheap (49 euro) but next time I will consider a more expensive location in exchange for better comfort. |
