This hotel features a combination of modern design and medieval architecture in the center of the city, only half a mile from the centrally located Market Square and the Belfry of Bruges.

This historic townhouse has an eye-catching exterior and a large terrace right on the Grote Markt in Bruges. Hotel Central is across from the 13th-century Belfry.

Visited just after Christmas and was lovely to see a hotel so festive! Christmas decorations all over the dining room and entrance! Bed was very comfy and the black out blind made for a great nights sleep! Hotel is far enough away to get some peace but only a short walk to the centre of it all!
Only fault would be that one of the mugs in our room was dirty and the other chipped - mugs were not replaced the following day either.
cozy decoration, great breakfast
10 min walking from the market, 20 min from the station
Friendly and helpful staff
The facilities were poor in comparison to the price we paid. In other words very expensive for just a two star hotel
Breakfast, staff, hospitality
Location hard to find
Breakfast and Xmas decorations. Excellent reception and local area advice.
Sadly no lift. No sitting area for relaxing. Stairs difficult people with walking problems.
friendly staf, good recommendations for eating and local bars
The receptionist gave us an excellent introduction to the city and fantastic tips on what to see, do and where to eat. I was extremely impressed! The accommodation itself was great. We stayed in the duplex room which was fun and well kitted out. It was warm and comfortable.
The breakfast hours were a bit short from 8am to 10am on a Sunday, I think staying open until 10:30 would have allowed us to have a slightly more relaxed start to the day.
It was a fantastic stay! Everithing was wonderful. Very cosy and clean place, near to the city center.
The only disadvantage - no elevator
A perfectly quiet & comfortable location 10 minutes from the centre.
Designed as a private house with a big history seeps you into the Brugge's life. The roofs that seen from the window, family pictures and warm hospitality of the owners.
delicious breakfest (every day something now), awesome personal and very kind, nice bedroom with bathroom in the 3th floor It was no problem to arrive after 10 p.m.
The location was quiet and comfortable. Different room types available. Very helpful and accommodating welcome.
Although there was tea and coffee making facilities, there was no milk or coffee in the room.
Walking distance from the centre along a delightful canal side path. Very helpful receptionist who gave loads of excellent information about the town and explained by drawing on a map-just what we needed.. The elaborate, ornate decor and architecture gave authentic ambience and fitted with the historical Bruges feel. Lovely comfortable and clean room, which was far more spacious than we'd anticipated.
My mother mentioned the absence of a lift, but that's what to expect for a 2 star.
Nice city, cozy hotel. Hotel and street around it are silent. Bed is not bad :) Breakfast is included, some food changes every day. I absolutely love this city! I'll be back to this hotel. Recommended.
The location was nice its walkable to the main areas, and some nice bars and places to eat nearby, it's a very pleasant hotel that fitted perfectly for our needs & stay in Brugge.
Smell in the bathroom, but this a common thing in Brugge with the sewage system.
Perfect location. Owner is friendly and very helpful, a map is given out on arrival to help with your stay. Breakfast is a buffet but with a variety of options. Special diets can be catered for if notified in advance. This is the place to stay when visiting Bruge
Lovely staff, location is really good. Nice and modern room and breakfast was excellent.
People will always argue about taste, but the interior decoration of this hotel is just utterly tasteless. There was no room to move in the bedroom and the bathroom did not allow for a comfortable shower and was dirty.
Helpful staff, good breakfast buffet, 10-15 mins walk from the centre, rooms cleaned everyday
Bedrooms were too hot
- breakfast - kind staff - close to the central
- the room was a bit warm - the bed frame was a bit noisy
We landed on our feet in finding this affordable duplex room a short walk into the centre of Bruges. It's the right side of being close to the action without being noisy or exposed to constant bells from the belfry in the centre. It's a family affair too, and the hosts are perfectly welvoming.
The coffee could do with being somewhat stronger.
Modern room furniture, excellent breakfast buffet presentation, adorable breakfast room, kind staff.
There is no elevator
Ideal location, just away from the centre, but pleasant walk just off the beaten track. Really friendly staff, able to come and go as we pleased during our stay. Plenty of buffet food and drink available at breakfast time. Plenty of memorabilia as well about the hotel, giving it a good atmosphere :)
Could have done with some gentle background music perhaps at breakfast time, as mainly couples and as so quiet, were almost afraid to talk above a whisper. Otherwise ideal for what we wanted! :)
Location, is a bit far from the center 15min walking, but it is on a very calm part of the city Breakfast was really great
The room was on the attic and it was really hot as there was only a fan. No elevator and narrow stairs
Located in a quiet, yet central area, close to Market Square. Breakfast was ok, with many options. The hosts were nice and helpful, too. Very big and comfy pillows - something that is rather rare in a hotel.
Small rooms are small: I knew that, but the room we occupied, having a slanted roof, had a very weird bathtub. If you were taller than 1m60, you could not stand up in the bathtub. There was also a weird smell in the bathroom and I cannot tell if it was the same for all rooms, or only those at the top floors. Also if you are a light sleeper, you might like to know that the walls are thin.
