Hans Memling has a tranquil terrace and cozy bar serving Belgian beers. The hotel is in a historic building with warm décor, only 260 yards from the Grote Markt and Belfort.

In the historic center of Bruges, Hotel Goezeput is in a restructured 18th-century monastery, less than half a mile from the Grote Markt central square.
Score from 771 reviews Very good
The location was nice its walkable to the main areas, and some nice bars and places to eat nearby, it's a very pleasant hotel that fitted perfectly for our needs & stay in Brugge.
Smell in the bathroom, but this a common thing in Brugge with the sewage system.
Perfect location. Owner is friendly and very helpful, a map is given out on arrival to help with your stay. Breakfast is a buffet but with a variety of options. Special diets can be catered for if notified in advance. This is the place to stay when visiting Bruge
Lovely staff, location is really good. Nice and modern room and breakfast was excellent.
People will always argue about taste, but the interior decoration of this hotel is just utterly tasteless. There was no room to move in the bedroom and the bathroom did not allow for a comfortable shower and was dirty.
Helpful staff, good breakfast buffet, 10-15 mins walk from the centre, rooms cleaned everyday
Bedrooms were too hot
- breakfast - kind staff - close to the central
- the room was a bit warm - the bed frame was a bit noisy
We landed on our feet in finding this affordable duplex room a short walk into the centre of Bruges. It's the right side of being close to the action without being noisy or exposed to constant bells from the belfry in the centre. It's a family affair too, and the hosts are perfectly welvoming.
The coffee could do with being somewhat stronger.
Modern room furniture, excellent breakfast buffet presentation, adorable breakfast room, kind staff.
There is no elevator
Ideal location, just away from the centre, but pleasant walk just off the beaten track. Really friendly staff, able to come and go as we pleased during our stay. Plenty of buffet food and drink available at breakfast time. Plenty of memorabilia as well about the hotel, giving it a good atmosphere :)
Could have done with some gentle background music perhaps at breakfast time, as mainly couples and as so quiet, were almost afraid to talk above a whisper. Otherwise ideal for what we wanted! :)
Location, is a bit far from the center 15min walking, but it is on a very calm part of the city Breakfast was really great
The room was on the attic and it was really hot as there was only a fan. No elevator and narrow stairs
Located in a quiet, yet central area, close to Market Square. Breakfast was ok, with many options. The hosts were nice and helpful, too. Very big and comfy pillows - something that is rather rare in a hotel.
Small rooms are small: I knew that, but the room we occupied, having a slanted roof, had a very weird bathtub. If you were taller than 1m60, you could not stand up in the bathtub. There was also a weird smell in the bathroom and I cannot tell if it was the same for all rooms, or only those at the top floors. Also if you are a light sleeper, you might like to know that the walls are thin.
Location, people, breakfast, cleanliness,
The pillows were too big!!
The staff here is extremely friendly! They did everything possible to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms all vary in size depending on what you book, we were two couples, and one couple had the mini apartment which was incredibly spacious! There is a backyard terrace which is quiet and peaceful. The best part of the stay here is the breakfast. The room itself is decorated in historic pictures and the chairs are super comfortable. The food varied a little each day but was always delicious! If you rent bikes, they have a garage that you can store them in. Overall a great place to stay :)
One of the couples booked the small double, and just beware it is very small! You can't move around with bed if the suitcases were on the floor. The bathroom definitely needed some renovations. We would stay again, but only in a different room.
quiet, nice location next to a church, disc parking possible (for 4 hours), friendly owners, relatively low price for Bruges
bathroom far too small, room ceiling not attractive, no aircon, steep staires, breakfast eggs not good, pillows
Staff was very helpful and have solved street parking issue reported by other's earlier comments. We stayed near garden and it was very quiet and relaxing.
No major complaints but water drainage in shower was minor problem.
I stayed in the duplex room with my fiancé and it was great, very spacious, good bathroom and a nice living room. Breakfast was good, not too special, but it was great for being included in the room price. It's a small hotel, but the woman that helped us was very very nice. The bed was comfortable and it seemed to be clean.
Two friends of mine stayed at the standard room, and it was very very little. The worst part was the bathroom, the shower had the wall coming down, so they had to take a shower sitting down. It was also at the 3rd floor, if you have a problem with stairs. Wouldn't recommend that room for long stays.
- breakfast included -fan already in room - very comfortable
friendly staff, location and room with plenty of space for bike gear.
Hotel close to centre. Clean and friendly. Breakfast excellent. Very reasonable prices based on belgium prices.
No tea making facilities in room.
The breakfast was super. Homemsde jam and marmelade and delicious croissants. The quilt and bedlinen was very comfertable. The wifi worked perfect
The room is not very big (what we were aware of) so it would be good with a common living room to sit in (we had a lot of rain when we were in Bruges)
Actually there was nothing I liked in this hotel. The bathroom was a dump,I could barely was my face in the sink.Awful breakfast. Dreadful service, the staff is increadibly unkind. We asked the owner if she could print out a file for us and clearly lying she told us that the printer was broken. This hotel is ridiculously expensive,I wouldn't recommend it to my worst ennemy. It should be closed down.
Everything.It's a dump. Never again.
Very friendly and careful owners. We felt pretty much like staying in the house of friends. Quiet location next to a beautiful church and not far from practically all places of interest. We would surely choose Asiris for a future stay in Bruges. Valentin - Bucharest
Staff is lovely and makes you feel very welcome
It can be a bit hard to find the city if you arrive late at night (my case) but locals are very helpful!
easy to park, quite.
No wind and very heat at second floor.
wonderful breakfast nice places
so expensive for 3-bed room
