Martin’s Brugge is just behind the famous 13th-century Belfry and 185 yards from the Grote Markt. It has a terrace and a cocktail bar, and all rooms have a flat-screen TV.

In the historic center of Bruges, Hotel Goezeput is in a restructured 18th-century monastery, less than half a mile from the Grote Markt central square.
Score from 765 reviews Very good
The hotel is so central and yet away from the noise of the main tourist areas. The owners were very friendly and helpful so you had the feeling you left as friends. Very good breakfast and a great local bistro around the corner.
There was a problem with mosquitos in the evening. You need the windows open for air but then the little beasts sneak in. Insect screens on the windows August/September would solve this.
Location, underground parking near hotel. Friendly staff. Quiet.
We found the owners to be very friendly, they gave us lots of useful information and local map on arrival. Breakfast was continental style with a help yourself buffet. Our room was all one would expect, clean with everything we needed.
Nothing.. Our bed could have done with a mattress cover, mainly for the owners benefit more than ours, that's just a tip for future planing.
Although we were a party of guys, Brent & Veronica were excellent hosts for the weekend! They were helpful and accommodating, besides being very nice people. From where the hotel is, in the centre of town, you could walk everywhere.
I cannot think of anything! As long as you visit the hotel knowing it is a three star hotel you will be very satisfied! A very good three star hotel with family owners who can't do enough for you.
Staff (brent + wife) were very nice. Brent even drove us to the station when the taxi he ordered didn't show up. Rooms were clean and adequate. Location was excellent - 5 mins from the town center
I'd suggest free wifi.
The owners, Veronica and Brend. Very nice, helpful, all good things. I had a medical issue and Brend arranged for a doctor's visit, handled very quickly and competently. This is a good place!
Nothing at all.
Very helpful hosts who responded wonderfully when my wife had a fall on the cobbles of Bruges and hurt her knee and wrist. They are new to this business and are still learning the ropes but their service was first class and we were made very welcome.
Lack of adjacent car parking and a bit of maintenance required in the bathroom but these were minor problems.
Veronica and Brend are excellent hosts. Friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Very good English speakers. The hotel is about 2 mins walk from the centre of town, but quiet. Very good value for money in this expensive city.
We had a problem with mosquitoes biting at night, despite having a plug-in killer on all the time. Also I would have liked a fridge in the room.
The staff were really lovely, and so helpful, organising our evening Ypres trip and giving advice. really quiet little street, but within 5 minutes we were into the centre. It is small and the rooms are not huge, but perfectly adequate for our city break. we walked both ways from and to the station.
Bathroom a little antiquated, but water hot and plentiful. Breakfast choice rather limited, but plenty of it and as much as you wanted to eat and drink.
Hosts attention to detail, going above and beyond what was expected (we had to sort a taxi for leaving very early monday morn - they did this for us seamlessly and made sure some breakfast and coffee was ready for us including a little box of praline chocys), and also on arrival the getting us sorted and showing us things to visit on a map was really efficient and informative. Overall felt very welcome, relaxed and well received!
Windows for our room could have benefited from some mosquito screens - had a fair few mozzys come in the room, but didn't detract from our overall appreciation of our stay! (more a suggestion for improvement)
A lovely hotel ~ more like a B&B because the staff welcomed us personally, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Special treats like top quality breakfast at no extra charge, comfy sitting room for a quiet drink at the end of the day, bath tub for a soak each night, beautiful decor ~ in all one of the best hotels we've stayed in for comfort, welcome, and individual style.
liked the proprietor, she was very helpful and accomodating. great location, lovely rooms and decor. breakfast was good, and coffee was delicious.
we had a room for 4, and second bed was small for my kids, ages 12 and 16 to share.
The lady who greeted/checked us in and served our breakfast was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is really charming and in a great location. Breakfast was good.
Beatiful, clean rooms. Good breakfast.
The strong perfume on the pillows.
A delightful place to stay with very friendly and charming hosts. They gave us excellent recommendations for non touristy places to eat and to buy chocolate and were generally delightful.. The room was very clean and comfortable but small - we had an attic one - and I think that would have bothered us if we had spent more than one night there. Great view though! There is also a small lounge downstairs which is nice. Breakfast was very fresh and good. The location is just around the corner from the Fish market in a very quiet street so perfect for getting away from the tourist hell that is Bruges!
would have preferred a slightly larger room for a longer stay
clean and spacious
small television very limited english channels
a terrific small hotel in a good location staff were great , breakfast was better than we expected, we would definatly stay again
The host was very charming and caring. Location is few steps from center town. Breakfast in line with our expectations. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Lovely little room. Compact but perfect. Great operators.
We liked everything.
The location was great - literally few steps to the city centre. Our lady churches top visible from the window. The room was small but cosy, everything we could need was provided. WiFi was perfect - fast and covered all the hotel. Breakfasts were just fine - tea/coffee, cheese/ham/salami, fresh fruit - strawberry/pineapple/kiwi/melon, croissants/bread/loafs. The room was cleaned every day - thoroughly and quickly. Generally I don't imagine better hotel for this price.
We had the mansard room - no air conditioning would be ok if not for the mosqiutos. We had to choose whether to feel hot all night or to be bitten. Eather efficient mosquito net or air conditioning is essential.
Friendly reception. Good variety at breakfast Having tea facilities and safe in room
Brugge is my favorite intact medievil town in Europe. Hotel Sophia is conveniently located with very gracious owners. Wonderful breakfast.
Lovely friendly staff. Good breakfast. Lovely living area and perfect location.
Location. Owners. Charm.
A bit run down.
free breakfast availability of breakfast at late hour kept our luggages secure on day of check out until we left bruges
no aircon or even ceiling fan we were provided with a desk fan but this wasn't enough
