friendly hotel. good breakfast. We got a beautiful loft. great bed and nice bathroom. the aircondition was very weak and the weather wes very hot. it functioned as a fan and not as an a/c. at night there is only one stuff member in the hotel-the receptionist. I think it's not right for a 4 star hotel.I must say she was kind and helpfull. |

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast and beautiful interior. Room a bit on the small size (Twin room) however they apologised for having to give us the small room. Was still spacious enough. |

This is a special small hotel with all amenities. My room was quiet and comfortable and the bathroom was very well equipped. There is a great selection of items at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast room is nice and has a terrace. I stayed there only for one night and had to rush in the morning. I slept very well, but unfortunately could not enjoy the breakfast. |

The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. They gave us a map of the city and told us about what to see and do. The shower is hand held. Which is not handy. |

The location is fantastic, the staff is polite, smiling and helpful. Nothing wrong here, if I have to mention something it should be that it may be slightly in the expensive end compared to other European hotels of similar standard - and, of course, there were no English TV channels available - prepare to brush up your French/Dutch if you want to watch the news there ;-) |

Beautiful hotel. Spacious rooms with great antique ornaments. High quality breakfast, large choice. Hotel may need some touch up here and there, especially painting the windows. Coffee quality could be better aligned with rest of the excellent breakfast. |

I enjoyed my short visit. My stylish room was quite large and had a four poster bed. The breakfast was good, and was included in the price. The hotel is very close to the river and the old centre, so I could easily stroll around, and there is a tram to get to the station within a short walk. The wi-fi internet was rather expensive and wasn't working well during my stay - very slow connection. But the staff cancelled the charge so I felt that was very fair. |

Beautiful setting - It took a very long time to get a drink in the hotel bar. Air conditioning in room was extremely loud. Breakfast was expensive and we had to take the coffee out of a machine- not what you would expect for a 4star hotel. |

This was a lovely hotel, the staff were friendly and our suite was beautiful with a huge and very comfortable bed. A good selection on the buffet breakfast as well. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Gent. |

I was amazed at the style of the hotel and the quality of the service. The room we had was a loft with views out over Ghent on three sides, the four poster bed was a complete surprise. All in all this hotel was a delight and I will be returning there for sure. |

Friendly staff - Room was not cleaned properly. E.g. there was waste from previous guest in the bin, and a stain on the bed. Besides it was noisy on the street (there is a 'Spar' supermarket outside, which was restocked with a lot of noise at 7 a.m.). The cleaners made a lot of noise after that 7.30 am. |
