The Hotel is well located for exploring Bouillon, it has bags of character and an excellent restaurant

The bedroom was somewhat dated in style, although perfectly comfortable. Having to pay to park in the hotel garage was something we did without, the bikes were fine beside the river outside the restaurant window. The Breakfast was expensive.

The food in the restaurant and the breakfast were excellent. The location couldn't have been better. Secure parking.

Rooms were a bit shabby.

The location is nice, the hotel very charming and the interior so beautiful.

According to the pictures and description on the website we had booked a standard room but got a budget room. Asking for a better room for the second night we got a comfort room - but only with upgrade. Quality of coffee for breakfast is very poor.

simply stunning

Good location excellent position on river in centre of town. Breakfast with very good choice taken with view of town and castle. Good quality meals in restaurant, desserts a little expensive. Eating areas well laid out and decor pleasant. Bar area works well again on the river side. Staff very attentive and helpful. Street parking available all around area, although look out for restrictions and limits at certain times.

Went for economy room which was fine, although decor very dark, that combined with limited lighting made it difficult to read and see in wardrobe. Shower was mixer taps while standing in bath, difficult to get temperature correct and slippery. Need to book for evening meal some nights due to demand or miss out.

The location in Bouillon made for easy access to the town. The breakfast was decently priced for one in Europe.

The bathroom light was operated by the same switch as the main room light, making it mandatory to use a flashlight to avoid waking one's partner. The staff was not rude, but neither were they warm. The bathroom pipe chase carried voices, forcing us to close the door at night.

Downstairs was excellent ie bar dining room/bar. Beautifully furnished excellent views of river.

Staff were not friendly, did not listen to what you said, just what they wanted to hear. No carpet in room floor was bare and rough. Advertised WiFi but could not log in as it was apple mac. Charged twice for bar bill. Advertised as private parking but this was not available.

Good location in the town centre, beside the river, it goes about its business with confidence knowing that it provides good, if sometimes individualistic bedrooms, together with a quality restaurant overlooking the river.

Pokey small room. The bed was designed for a small child. Promised a quiet room but traffic noise from 5.00am made it impossible to sleep. Hotel bar closed unreasonably early. Mean minded over parking charges for motorcycles. Much better hotels available in Bouillon. I would recommend staying at any other hotel in Bouillon than this one.

The receptionist was wonderful. The towels were generous.

I had a shower that sprayed all over the bathroom, a sagging twin bed (not the requested double bed that they promise you will get if you request it), a view of the HVAC system for the building that spewed smoke smelling of cooked meat.

This hotel was not good. Pros: great location right near the center and river GORGEOUS lobby and restaurant

Cons: The staff was unbelievably rude. Rooms are small and very basic -- very different from what you would expect after seeing the lobby. Beds are tiny -- the size of a small cott. Walls are paper thin. You can hear neighbors talking and walking around. Bathroom is nice, but the only light is behind you so using the mirror is difficult. I have to tell this short story. I went to the lobby to see if there was a vacancy and what the rate was. Some young blond girl quoted a price above the one on Booking.com, with an attitude as if I was waisting her time. I pulled up the website and showed her. In a huff she told me that was without breakfast and city tax. Tired of arguing with her, I booked through Booking.com there in the lobby. What a waste -- but now I get to write a review. That encounter stained my entire stay in Bouillon.

Safe parking, center of town.

Beautiful hotel. The bar has a view on the river Semois, staff speaks different languages, no noise, beautiful and large room for its price.

Small bathroom is possible. Bit of mold around bathroom ventilation.

The hotel had character,rooms where clean, reasonably comfortable.View from the room and the position of the hotel was excellent,parking expensive for motorcycles.Staff pleasant and friendly,breakfast 10 euros but very good ,lots of choice and the dining room very nice.

Parking expensive ,12 euros for a car and 8 euros for a motor cycle but there is free parking in the town if you are prepared to leave your car/motorcycle away from the hotel

Your Hotel is in a excellant position , overlooking the river .

The staff at this particular Hotel was very unfriendly , perhaps because three of us were english one of us was Flemish . There was too many dogs in the Hotel as well , who were allowed in the breakfast room , perhaps this was because the manager had a dog as well . Very unhealthy where you have to eat . Our room was clean but very outdated and old .

Quaintness and location

Reservation included free parking but was charged 12euro to park. Also expected wifi as advertised but none available

Its location right on the river near the bridge made it an interesting place to stay. Loved the history of the hotel and traditional decor.

Only negative thing would be no internet connection for guests for the days we stayed.

Hotel is visually attractive and located in a prime position on the bank of the Semois River. The interior decor is impressive lending a very relaxing atmosphere.

The rooms are dark and "cave-like" and ours in particular overlooked house roofs over a busy and noisy road. Short measures are served at the bar though I believe this is "Belgian tradition"!!!!
