Good location in quiet street near the rail station and not far from city centre and attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful - e.g. I pointed out a couple of minor problems with my room and they were fixed the next day. Bed was comfortable and my single room was a good size. Breakfast was the standard Belgian cold meats/cheese and rolls or cereals I was happy with my stay, but the hotel would benefit greatly from an update, e.g. some furniture was past its best. With redecoration and modern furnishings (and expanded breakfast choices) it could work as a modern boutique hotel - and the owners could charge more for the experience.

Bed was totally clapped out and so were the chairs. Horribly uncomfortable and same clapped-out chairs in the breakfast room. Scraped my knees constantly trying to sit at the low desk. Desk lamp electrics faulty - light stayed on when I held the switch and went off as soon as I let go! Main light very dim. You need to carry an electronic pad to get into AND OUT OF the hotel - very unsafe in case of fire. Constant noise from the electric gates of the large, adjacent underground car park. Toilet looked like it was about to overflow on every flush - maybe the strange plumbing. Staff not unfriendly as such, but very depressed air about the place. Had someone just died? I could not wait to leave and will never on any account go back.

It was a great experience for us. The owner and her daughter made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were lovely. Altogether a wonderful experience. We would stay there again for sure.

Spacious room, though basic interior. Friendly staff. Walking distance from the central square of Mechelen. Good value for money. This is a friendly hotel with basic facilities. Business travelers will lack facilities such as a bar. The interior is outdated.

Vriendelijk, maar niet bijzonder. Net hotel, maar geen super bijzonderheden. Ontbijt had beter gekund, niet veel keuze en erg kleine ruimte.

Vond het erg matig. Prijs was te hoog voor wat je hebt. Oude kamer. Ouwerwetse dekens. Die niet hygienisch ogen. Vond het erg matig. Dit was niks !!!

De lokatie was rpima, het ontbijt eveneens. Eenvoudig, enigszins gedateerd hotel, schoon. Kamers schoon, wel gedateerd qua inrichting hetgeen voor mij geen proibleem is. Gedateerd meubilair

Fijne lokatie net buiten het centrum in een rustige straat, vlak bij grote winkelstraat en loopafstand van de grote markt. Eenvoudige doch schone kamer met ruime badkamer (ligbad) Klein balkonnetje aan de kamer waar een cigaretje kan gerookt worden. Goed ontbijtbuffet met lekkere vlaamse broodjes. Parkeergarage aan schappelijke prijs.

vriendelijk onthaal te veel lawaai. vlakbij de ring. Het is niet mogelijk te slapen zonder oorstopjes. Wij hadden kamer aan de voorzijde.
