Everything about this hotel is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful, and really clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to visit again and are hoping to book up again before Christmas. Thank you for a great stay.
We were on the ground floor so traffic noise was a bit of a problem.
Very romantic with a touch of style. Staff were lovely and helpful giving us any advice and recommendations we asked for Location was beautiful but hard to think there would be anywhere that wouldn't be in Brugge. Highly recommend everyone seeing the harp show up the road. Even if it's not your kind of thing. Very modernised and incredible musician and it's FREE!
We asked for a double bed when we got two singles pushed together. The beds were extremely comfy individually but no lovely cuddles for us in a romantic city :( really dampened our time. Also safe wasn't working. We did feel safe there so was fine but for peace of mind they should really get in fixed.
We were travelling by bike and were allowed to store the bikes overnight in the garage. Gluten free bread available. Excellent location
A bit of steet noise - but not too much
I found it was 15 min walk from station, location was near to centre, very clean room, Breakfast was very good for the amount i payed, nice selection of Eggs, cheese, ham, bread, ect.. to start the day.
The breakfast was at 8.30 AM which was fine for me as i was only visiting brugge, also the room was very warm and air-con would be nice.
Perfect location just a 5minute walk from everything. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice romantic rooms.
This hotel felt like a 5 star property, but was priced more in a normal person's price range. Really pretty, clean, well located - nice staff, lovely breakfast. I was nothing but pleased. Wonderful value. Amazing stay. I cannot recommend it enough, I have been recommending it to everyone I can.
Friendly staff, good location
No air-con so hot windless weather made room very stuffy at night
Location was walking distance from station and also from town centre, cleanliness of the hotel and the complimentary breakfast. Room very quiet and full of character.
That our room was in the attic and the stairs were very steep and narrow particularly for a mature couple to carry up suitcases, would have preferred lower room. Man behind bar not very helpful or friendly. Once booked in hardly ever spoke to you.
The location was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Its an older venue with old stairs and wooden floors, which helped make me feel I was someplace older preserved.
If you get a single room.....they are comfortable, but mine was REALLY small, which was adequate for my being alone, but had I been with a second person in that room it would have been quite cramped.
Very good service when we arrived late in the evening. Breakfast was provided to us the night before an early checkout.
Couldn't get the window or the safe to lock. Bathroom was quite small.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was terrific, lots of choice. Excellent value for money.
Parking was a 10 minute walk away and a little confusing to get to, but the staff helped with detailed directions and instructions.
Great location near public parking and all the sites of downtown Bruges. 5 minute walk to Markt and other major sites. Great wifi connection, ease of check-in/out, and wonderful spread of complimentary breakfast. Rooms were spacious for 2 adults and 4 kids. Lots of character in the building.
Unfinished tile work along base of the shower. Had a street facing room and cars driving by at night were loud (though not an inconvenience)
Very good location on quiet back street but very close to town. Easy walk to station. Had its own old world charm. Good breakfast. Attic room was good but no air conditioning which was fine when we were there but might have been a problem if the weather was warmer.
Keep the windows shut at night....mosquitos!
Oldy worldy building.Room was modern and tastefully decorated, close to town centre. The room was clean with sweets on pillows, shower gels and soaps. Staff were welcoming and friendly
The building, the location, the included breakfast, the lobby...it was all great. They do have shortened check-in hours (it is Europe after all) but that's clearly noted online so it wasn't a problem. Just don't forget to take the door code if you're going to be returning late!
The breakfast room and the food.
The bedroom was very old and not like the photos.
Interior was really nice. Receptionist was helpful.
I spent €70 and my room was too tiny.
excellent location, historic nature of the building, quality of the bed, breakfast was very good, staff was helpful
Lighting in the bathroom made using the mirror difficult, walls are a bit thin so you need to be okay with neighbours nearby
Position and view. Reception helpful
Rooms need attention. Bath room/shower very tiny. Breakfast bowels etc need replacing all chipped
Amazingly helpful staff. They stored our bikes securely at no extra cost. The rooms were clean and light. The breakfast was exceptional. Great location.
Liked the authentic quirkiness of this hotel, location was very good 10 mins from station and 10 mins from markt square ample selection for breakfast, spotlessly clean and friendly staff
We arrived around 6pm and were assigned our rooms - our travel companion's room had not been cleaned since the previous guests left that day! My husband and I had booked a double bed but ended up with twin beds and were told rather curtly by the staff that it was not their problem and nothing could be done. This was not the greatest start although things improved. The hotel has character but most rooms are upstairs and as there is no lift would be unsuitable for those that would find steep stairs difficult. Our room was in the roof on the third floor and was fairly spacious. The renovated ensuite bathroom was very small but to be expected in an older building like this. The included breakfast was standard european continental - fresh and plentiful. The location of this hotel was very central. All major tourist attractions were a short walk and there were many dining options nearby.
Location, within easy reach of town centre and also the Station for parking. Ample breakfast with a good choice of food. Lovely modern bathroom.
