Lovely old building, wood floors and ceilings. Refurbished bathrooms. Cozy bar downstairs, nice people working at the reception/bar. The creaky stairs could be a problem for those with handicaps or mobility problems, but we loved it.
Dark stains on sheet on one bed and the overhead light needed to be refixed to ceiling..no big problems. Mostly overlooked as we were so happy with the location and atmosphere. I think they are continuing to work on the restauration of the place.
Location good room very clean and comfortable breakfast plentiful
Location of the hotel was great as we got the train to Bruges so was a short walk to the hotel and the hotel was close to the centre. comfy beds and loved the old beams in the room.
Shower door wasn't on properly so male staff came up to fix it. On returning back to our room the shower door was on but wouldn't slide shut. Also drain was blocked in shower and water just kept filling up till we turned off the shower. Few stains on the bed cover. When turning the heater up to 3 and over it made a continuous noise so just turned it off. overall enjoyed my stay just a few small things that can be easily fixed.
- Staff was really friendly - Room was stylish and clean - Near to city center - The lady at the reception was really polite, helpful and friendly. Special thanks to her. We had to leave the hotel very early, so we were going to miss the breakfast. She really cared about this situation and offered us to make some sandwiches the night before and serve them to the room.
The hotel has a very cosy bar. It was closed a bit early, but that's not a problem.
This is a great little hotel it has a lot of character.reception staff. Very friendly and helpful.the room was a good size the bathroom was small but the shower was great. Breakfast had a good choice . Not far from the train station and market square.we would certainly come back to this hotel.
How close to train and market square The cartcher in thee room
I had a single room for one night. Large enough for one, with larger shower than in many bigger hotel rooms. Clean and modern design. Beautiful, cosy lounge. Good breakfast. Location is a comfortable walk from train station if you can pull your luggage, and the town centre is an easy exploration by foot.
The wooden floor squeaked and the bedroom door was not soundproof so I could hear the neighbors come in and out of their rooms, but no big deal - kind of like living in a big house with familiar noises.
Comfortable bed, good location. Very friendly staff(I stay on 17th of January night.)
A bit of floor squeaking
We enjoyed the staff and meeting another guest.
The location Could check-in early Friendly staff Comfy bed
The WIFI was faulty The floors creak all the time - very loud
Building, large room, great breakfast
Broken shooter screen, no kettle on room
Upon arrival we received a complimentary upgrade! location was excellent, rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast and down stairs bar was very nice.
Location was convient to city center and bus station. Would stay again.
Walk from train station over cobble stones in the rain dragging luggage was a pain.
The view from our room was fantastic and the hotel is very atmospheric! Just what we wanted.
The lighting in the room, too dark and we recommend som bedside lights!
Bar was closed early and no hot drink facility in rooms
Location, decor, staff, price.
Third bed in triple was very uncomfortable - disturbed my daughter's sleep. Shower in triple was poor: went from very hot to cold whilst running and difficult to regulate. Not a good flow, either. But apart from this, liked the hotel.
Ease of access. It is half way between the station and the historic centre with cheap parking at the station (€3.50 per day). Hotel is full of character.
Slight smell in stairwell, but not a problem in the room.
We went away for our 1st Christmas holiday ever. The Hotel is situated within easy distance of Brugge Centre markets, shops, bus and train stations, even if you are disabled.Parking very easy to find in a very short distance, comfortable beds, very friendly knowledgeable Staff,Fantastic continental breakfast with a good variety of food and is most certainly a very good mainstay for a holiday with easy access to buses and trains if you feel like travelling further afield. We went to Paris from Hotel Goezeput and arrived back at 0300 hrs their time and managed to get back into the Hotel via the entry system. All in all I think it should be rated 5 star because we all had such a wonderful time.A great big Thank you for everyone involved in making our Holiday one to remember.
Size of rooms is really good, beds are really comfortable, location is really good, we stayed for new year & it was cold outside but rooms were lovely and warm.
coffee at breakfast was not good, very drafty windows but then it is an old building.
Good Location Free Wifi Warm cosy & clean room Traditional feel Friendly staff
the room was perfect, cozy atmosphere. very good breakfast! very polite staff. perfect location! very close to the train station!
decor was lovely and looked recently updated, great front desk staff, great location
smallish rooms (but this to be expected) and tiny bathroom
Excellent position in the city center. Lovely building. Good breakfast.
The furniture, the decoration and the location .It's a nice concept and the owners do their best.
The fact that during breakfast service, the same person was incharge of the reception, the bar&the kitchen.Very stressful time & impossible to perform well any of the tasks. At the same time,he was eating too...!
Set on a quiet side street this hotel was in easy walking distance from the main square, train station and shops.Hotel was comfortable with cheerful staff always willing to help.Would definately stay their again
I cant think of anything that would give me reason not to book a stay their again.
great breakfast, great staff, excellent location just a 2 minute walk from main shopping area. looks unassuming from the outside but lots of character inside
finishing touches of room, for example the light cable was hanging across the room rather than being pinned up. very small minor things but overall an excellent and comfortable stay
