building full of character luxurious bedding Room 12 was very spacious
This is a lovely and good-value hotel in a picturesque location. The staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms both spacious (on the upper levels) and attractive with their beams and windows overlooking the town. A very good breakfast was included in the price and the bar was great fun, too.
The shower was a bit erratic and the chambermaids a little intrusive.
We have stayed in Brugges on a number of occasions and this Hotel is the best so far. Friendly staff, our room was no10 the best in the house. The location is perfect a short walk from the station and just off the main shopping streets perfect. Will book again in the Newe Year see you soon.
location great hotel
the bedrooms were brilliant high ceilings good size room even though it was classed as a small double. The man behind the counter was very helpful.lovely place
could do with some ventilation in the room for when you use the shower
Lovely hotel in central location. Staff very friendly and rooms lovely and comfortable. All the hotel very clean. Breakfast very good. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
There really is nothing to dislike.
Great location, good breakfast , helpful staff
Mattress was below average Shower moved from hot to cold all time
Nice clean basic hotel Excellent Continental Breakfast
The hotel is very close to the main square and just a short walk from Bruges station. The hotel is charming and it was great to have a bar available. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Nothing major, but our bedroom was on the ground floor and as the road outside is cobbled there was some road noise at night
Having just returned from Bruges, I have to say that the Belgium people are the nicest I've met traveling in a long time. Everyone was really helpful, even allowing us an hour later check out at a moment's notice when my friend woke up sick. The hotel beds were really comfortable, ensuring we got two great nights of sleep. I would recommend this hotel for the beds, location, helpful staff, and good breakfast.
When we arrived, it was late at night and our room was very cold. It took quite a while for the room to heat up due to the older radiator system.
location was great, rooms were clean and comfortable, I chose this hotel for the interesting décor and it didn't disappoint.
The room was spacious, modernly styled and very clean with a small but well equipped shower room. The breakfast, whilst simple, was a great bonus. All the staff were friendly and the hotel bar was a relaxed area to grab a drink after a day if sightseeing.
No tea or coffee making facilities in the room
Room wasn't the room described!
mattress for double bed devided into two parts (splitting apart during night)
poor breakfast, quite old.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast, and great location next to historic district. The off location parking was in a good location to start walking in the historic district.
Great location, friendly staff, nice bar , good breakfast and really unusual rooms. A little gem.
WIFI excellent in the room. The family room had 5 beds which is really unusual and was very spacious with high ceilings. The breakfast had a great choice of continental meats, cereal and breads. Only 3 minutes walk from the central parking zone so easy to find
Windows(quite rightly in a building this old) are not double glazed so everything that happens on the street below is heard. The street is cobbled so every car sounds like a plane taking off. The shower needs a plinth around it - it would finish off the room and stop you stubbing your toe on the concrete. Beds were so soft they were almost uncomfortable but that is just a personal preference
It was easy to find and enter the hotel in the night. Receptionist informed us quick all the codes for late check-in by answer to our e-mail. Location is really good. It takes about 7-10 minutes walk from the train station to the hotel and about 3-5 to the city centre and sights. Warm atmosphere and very favor staff made our 2 days of staying very pleasant. Good continental breakfast and nice room at the highest floor with triangular house-top and ceeling with wood balks was a bonus for us ). It was interesting to know that women Monastery was located at this building at 12 century.
Only sounds from the bathroom while using could make some inconvenience.
Free wifi Clean and tidy room Modern bathroom Great value for money Small family run place Great location
Beds were a little soft Staff not overly friendly Breakfast very basic
Bad staffs, even made fun of customers, and bad number calculating, almost paid a wrong price...bad cost/value ratio.
close to centre
room was street level and fairly noisy at times. room safe not operable. staff at desk ok, but not overly helpful. room is basic
Location, friendly staff, breakfast good (and served earlier than scheduled for us), station parking = 3.50 Euro for 24 hours
Quirky finishing touches to rooms, noise from passers-by
Particularly like the fact that everything was within walking distance from the hotel. Very good restaurants nearby.
Location perfect! Great breakfast selection Lovely lounge
Uncomfortable pillows Poor wifi Mould on blind
