Score from 1306 reviews Very good
The room was large and comfortable. I always like finding kettle, tea and coffee in the room, Hotel is located in a silent location and is very close to attractions. Breakfast was superb with many options. The owner was very helpful in planning our trip and always recommended very good restaurants.
The bathrooms are somewhat old and may be renovated. And this also would solve the problem of stepping out of the bathtub which is high, and could be tricky and dangerous.
Breakfast was fine and good service.
We booked it because of good review but were disappointed, the room did not live up to expectations. We expected something more charming and cosy but not what we felt. Bathroom was quite rudimentary.
Very nice atmosphere, friendly service, and personal atention. We traveled with our 2 year old son, to see the city of Brugge. Hotel has a good location to all the popular sites of the city.
The price is high for a regular hotel, allthough it might be allright compared to the other hotels in the city center.
Warm friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast fantastic great location in old city, veryclose to uunderground parking.
A cosy family run hotel with friendly management. Very clean room with good breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.
Helpful staff with helpful recommendations, great breakfast, easy walk from train station to hotel, easy base to see the sights. Room was quiet and a good size. Excellent free wi-fi. Bikes available to rent from hotel although we didn't have time to use them - so much to see and so many beers to try!
Bathtub/shower was half-size requiring a high step - somewhat difficult to enter. Also no lift - possibly difficult for some.
Convenient location good breakfast friendly staff room was nice great advice on several things at check-in
A family run hotel with the atmosphere of welcome to the family home, made welcome from the time we arrived. Advice was given on where to park, place to see, and some discount vouchers for some of the restaruants. Rally good value for money.
Really close to car park. Not far to walk anywhere. Staff helpful.
No milk for tea in room and only one teabag.
Concierge was very friendly, suggested several restaurants. Nice buffet breakfast is offered in a pretty breakfast room with a small patio garden.
Room was a bit tight (coming from big-city Brussels) but adequate. But assume this is typical of most of the old, narrow buildings in Bruges.
Amazing breakfast included in price. The owners are so nice and accommodating. I've been to Brugge three times and always stay here
Lawrence and her father were really welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were really interested in ensuring that their guests were comfortable and enjoying their stay. The room was really clean, the bed was big and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked. Breakfasts were as good as I've had anywhere else, the eggs were boiled to perfection, and the coffee was excellent. This is a lovely family-run hotel in a great location for seeing and enjoying this beautiful city. There isn't a car park, but they'll tell you where to park your car for only 3.50 per day. In future, whenever I need to stay in Belgium, I'll be staying here.
Breakfast!! Top ten!!;)
Very little there were many other hotels in town charging 79-85 for the same style accommodation.
The whole building was a tired house conversion. For the price I could have stayed at better hotels in better areas not in a tired hotel next to 2 Hostels charging less than half the price.
scarf's was not clean enough.
Location, nearby to center Excellent breakfast Very friendly and helpful staff Quiet
Steep stairs Bathroom very small
Clean large room ,good breakfast. Parking close, central to everything in Brugge wonderful city
Six flights stairs to second floor not good for mature traveller
Pleasant atmosphere. Family run business. Excellent Breakfast. Location very central. Very clean and shower although tub type was ok.
Car parking was 10 minute walk but was only 3.50 euros all day. Could hear the hostel revellers next door. No English TV
The smaller size made it more personal so it felt like you were with family more than like at a hotel. The family was lovely. Breakfasts, served with your own hot coffee pot, were relaxed in a cozy room with a view of a beautiful patio garden. There were bikes that you could rent, for a nominal price, right outside the front door. Many guests had stayed here before and I can see why. The rooms were perfect with new bathrooms. It was just a block away from the noise so quiet at night and comfortable with the window open. I would definitely stay there again.
Great location and a super-helpful owner/host. Room was comfortably sized and very clean. A lovely lounge and patio which we would've used more had we been staying longer. A very pleasant weekend stay!
Excellent location, 800 meters from Brugge railway station and in the centre of the city. The hospitality and kindness of the staff The hotel is located on an old house, just renewed with nice decoration Breakfast is delicious and big one!
Very pleasant, spacious clean room. Nice breakfast. Excellent value. Good location. Be alert, Hotel is on Korte Vuldestraat near the city center but there is another Vuldestraat on the other side of town.
Location, breakfast, cleanliness, quiet neighbourhood, friendliness of lady who ran hotel.
Carrying cases up 2 flights of stairs, no English language TV channels.
The location was easy to walk to from the train station and near the center of Bruges. The owners were exceptionally nice and helpful.
People coming in late in the evening were loud and the walls were paper thin. There were not good views from the room, the AC didn't seem to work, and Mosquitos got into the room because we had to open the windows.
Owners allowed us to check in an hour early and they were always on the premises to assist our needs. They personally served us coffee and tea. We had to check out 7:30 and they offered to serve us breakfast at our time even though it is normally served at 8:00. They even have umbrellas for us to use and they have a very inexpensive bike rental service on site. Location is the best.
