Easy walking distance to centre. Friendly and helpful staff. A generous and varied breakfast.

Tea making facilities in the room would have been welcome.

We were very well assisted by the staff at the hotel who was very friendly. The room was huge and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing more to say. I would recommend this hotel to friends for sure. Very good value for money

Staying at Hotel Gulden Vlies (Golden Fleece) was like staying at an aunt's house - perfectly pleasant but more b&b than hotel. We chose the hotel because it was easy to get to by car and had free public parking on the opposite side of the road. The walk to Markt Square is about 10 mins. In Bruges itself I would recommend the De Haalve Maan brewery tour and 't Brugs Beertje, don't bother with any of the restaurants in the main square as the food is pretty bad and expensive - explore the side streets instead!

We were right at the top so lots of steep stairs to climb after a busy day sightseeing but that was fine until I noticed the enormous spider lurking above the first flight. From then on had to do that bit at a run!

Free parking near the hotel, good breakfast, very pretty and cozy accomodation, the proprietor left us a envelope with map of the city and a discount for museums.

The proprietor wasn't in hotel when we arrived, so we had not the code for free wi-fi until the following morning, the pictures on web-site are not very similar to reality, the drain of the shower doesn't work well.

We liked the fact that it was close to the historical centre,it was comfortable and it has a nice bed.

It was a little bit noisy on the first floor,because you listened almost everything from the kitchen downstairs

Lovely old building sensitively and tastefully furnished and maintained by a most helpful on-site manager; excellent choice of cheeses and meats for breakfast; we had a fantastic large bed in a very large room (19) overlooking the street (some road noise on a summers night, but perfectly bearable); free (Sundays and for 4 hours a day) street parking right outside the hotel; definitely highly recommended!

The downstairs "amenity" loo is very convenient (eg after check-out), but tiny, tiny, tiny!

The breakfast was very enjoyable: fresh croissants, scrambled eggs, bread, delicious cheeses,...The bed was good and the pillow, too! The location is great!

отличные номера и завтрак, отзывчивый персонал. наверное одно из лучших сочетаний цены и качества, до центра нужно немного пройтись, но это совсем не напряжно минут 10, в принципе стоимость номеров и качество обслуживания компенсируют небольшую прогулку до центральное площади

все ок, душевая конечно немного старовата, но очень даж приличная

Gastvrijheid, kwaliteit van bedden en stoelen uitstekend.Ruime rustige kamer(achterzijde);heerlijk geslapen!

Internetverbinding viel tegen, regelmatig wegvallen van verbinding. Kan mogelijk simpel opgelost worden, wij hebben het niet aangekaart.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gestaltet - einzig das Zimmer Nummer 7 welches wir hatten gefiel uns nicht vom Ambiente - aber alles andere was wir gesehen haben war sehr gut und Inge und die andere Dame waren sehr freundlich, das Frühstück war sehr sehr gut und die Lage empfanden wir als angenehm - kostenfreies parken möglich.

Die Zimmer unterscheiden sich wohl sehr im Komfort. Das Zimmer Nr, 7 welches wir hatten gefiel uns gar nicht. Es war sehr abgewohnt und einfach lieblos gestaltet. Hier muss dringend gehandelt werden. Die anderen Zimmer die wir sehen konnten waren traumhaft - das Zimmer 8 im Hinterhof im Asien Stil gefiel uns auch. Inge: Zimmer 7 musst du machen!!!

Прекрасное расположение (5 мин, пешком до главной площади старого города, бесплатный паркинг, обильный завтрак.
