Score from 631 reviews Excellent
Comfortable bed, great breakfast, clean room.
Noisy road, bathroom door arrangement.
Location good considering the better value when comparing to the hotels right in the centre. 10 min walk to Markt square. Breakfast very good. Clean and tidy. Lovely and very helpful staff. Free parking not far away.
Carpets and some furniture a bit tired but for the price; a non-issue.
We loved the atmosphere, the staff were v friendly and really accommodating of our small dog. The position of the hotel was good and the owner took a lot of time to show us on a map the key sites. We loved the ;layout and old world architecture of the buildiong
the wi fi dropped a couple of times
The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. She can also tell you where to park for free close to the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a lot of choice. The hotel was in good condition and was nicely decorated. I would definitely go back!
The stairs are quite narrow and a little steep. You have to climb 4 of them to get to the rooms at the top floor. This obviously is to be expected in older buildings like this one and wasn't of any concern for us, but it could be problematic for some.
Central location, clean spacious rooms, good cold breakfast. Excellent value for money. The owners give you good advice on places to eat and drink. Very friendly people.
No tea in room. Only coffee was available.
Great location 10 mins walk to the centre and 2 mins walk from where you can park for free (any closer to the centre and you have to pay for parking or park for free but further from your hotel, and any further away and it's a little far to walk to the centre), very comfy beds, great breakfast, friendly helpful owners - they supplied us with a map and a lot of good advice on where to visit when we arrived, liked the fact it was a small family run place & nice atmosphere. Would definitely stay again!
So small hardly worth mentioning - Mirrors in the room would be good rather than just in the bathroom, and carpets could do with replacing. Wouldn't stop me staying again though.
- family run hotel located 10-15 min walk from the centre of Bruges - parking is possible only with a special card, which you can get at an extra fee from the hotel, but about 5 min walk from the hotel, there are 2 streets where parking is free of charge, but of course the number of parking spaces is limited -more individual care than in large hotel chains, which we appreciated. The mother who checked us in and daughter who served breakfast were very friendly and helpful - Breakfast room / reception was really beautiful, the room was ok, bathroom small
- overused mattress leaning to one side, which made my one night sleep the worst of all 10 nights we spent travelling in Benelux - you can catch the wi-fi for a minute if you re lucky, then it will disconnect - the man who checked us out was really moody
It was just amazing. We asked if we can arrive very early and it was possible (like 11am). We got a very nice room and had plenty of time to visit Brugge. The owner even cleared some space in her private garage to offer us a nice place for our motorbikes. Just amazing, very friendly place and nice breakfast :)
good location a short walk we get up for the center is necessary to rent a bike and visit some of these wonderful town on the bike path nearby channels , compulsorily have to try leffe bruine fantastic beer from a hotel they serve a great breakfast and the breakfast room is the most charming and pleasant music to the ear , I strongly recommend
Very good located, walking distance from the historical centre and the train station. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and surprising helpful. Breakfast was delicious!! Very cosy atmosphere.
on the other hand, the only think that striked us was that the room was cleaned after four days of our arrival. This is just to mention something. We found our staying there a pleasant experience.
Hosts were very helpful, breakfast was wonderful, breakfast room was beautiful, location was great. The best part, it's so close to to the best chocolatier, Spagelaere.
The stairs. All other things considered, we didn't mind the stairs.
good staff and good breakfast
very bad wifi signal if you are in the 3rd floor
We were very impressed with the staff. Amazing breakfast included. The location is very good - easy walk to the center of town. Free parking
We are completely disappointed bathroom in room number 5. Old dirt especially in a shower gave a very bad impression. The carpets could also use a good cleaning. Needs a lot of new paint. Hotel need a lot of cleaning and renovations. If owner start to think about this points it will be very good B&B. From points and recomendation on booking.com we expected minimum cleanliness. Definitely we do not stay there next time
Very friendly staff , decent breakdast, great value for money. Good bed
Nothing, tiny room as mentioned in description but clean
Lots of character, small, family owned, excellent breakfast, lovely atmosphere. Like beinf in someone's home.
Location - plenty of parking on the street. Hospitality of the owners, advice on the city and other places to visit they gave us- really nice people. Room was very nice, beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower. Breakfast was very good, 10 minutes leisure walk to the center of the Old Town. We will definitely stay again there.
Not for people who cannot walk up to the stairs - not a problem for us, especially that an owner helped with our bags up and down
Staff were very friendly Excellent information what to see in Brugge
I was allocated a room at the top floor, on the side of the street (although, couple of days earlier, it was agreed I would have a room at the back). The furniture in the room was old and not functional, the bath room was basic. The room was very small, the window didn't close properly (therefore a lot of street noise), the light at the ceiling was not working, the toilet seating was loose,
The owner is amazing! She have us lots of tips on where to go, eat and play! Breakfast buffet is great and super convenient. Convenient free parking nearby! Comfy beds and large rooms!
It's 15 minutes walk from the main market square!
The lady who runs this beautiful hotel was fantastic. She was so helpful. We were able to leave our bags with her before check in and she provided us with a map on which she marked all the things we wanted to see and do and added a few extras! The room was lovely and comfortable. Location is also great as it was about ten minute walk to the centre and we were able to park close by. We will definitely return on our next visit to Bruges.
The ensuite is less private than I'm used to... the door didn't quite slide across fully.
Fair room size, good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, free parking nearby
Narrow stairs (although staff offered help with luggage), slide door at the bathroom, poor wifi signal at 3rd floor.
Nice breakfast, super friendly and helpful staff, quiet, great value.
Slightly outside of the main part of town, so about a 5-10 minute walk to get to the heart of it all, although that also meant the hotel was nice and quiet, so that's not entirely a bad thing.
Amazing breakfast included, staff were very friendly and pointed out sights to see. Hotel is very nicely renovated.
Room was very small and a bit of walk to the center.
Very spacious, friendly staff and good location.
No elevators, our chandelier was half way falling off scared to walk under it. Two of the guests woke up with bites all over them don't know if it was bed bugs.
We were very impressed with the staff. In fact, they changed the parking disc every 4 hours during the day for the 2 days we were there. Excellent breakfast. The location of this small hotel is very good - an easy walk to the center of town. The rooms are comfortable. This was our second stay here and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Bruges.
Although not a major complaint, it would have been nice to have a bathmat in the bathroom so the water from the shower didn't get onto the rest of the bathroom floor. The carpets could also use a good cleaning or replacement. We know that the new owners are in the process of dealing with these issues.
needs some TLC and spruce up then this would be the best bb ever pictures hanging bulbs in lights and re painting rooms minor details
