This luxurious family-run hotel in the Patershof suburb of Gent offers unique rooms in 2 historic buildings. Harmony has a swimming pool and is a 10 minute walk from St Bavo’s Cathedral. Each of the rooms at Hotel Harmony feature warm décor, modern bathrooms and views of the oldest parts of the city. The air conditioned rooms also boast satellite TV, a work desk and a minibar. Harmony Hotel is less than 300 ft from the House of Alijn. Brussels is only 40 minutes away by car. The hotel offers car rental and an airport shuttle service upon request. The elegant lounge features dark-wood décor and serves drinks including wines and cocktails. Guests can also enjoy a selection of meals both inside and out on the terrace. Location was brilliant. Lovely ambience. Staff very helpful. Can hire bikes which is an excellent way of getting around Ghent. Breakfast included. Back room (36) was very quiet. Cosy. From other reviews it seems you can get nicer beds - ours wasn't brilliant. Very low. Okay, this is nitpicking but the tv was around the corner which meant you couldn't lie in bed and watch it.

It was a lovely hotel - very modern - good furniture and decor. Its location was superby for the old town. A few minutes walk from the castle and churches. We paid extra for a superior room that overlooked the canal - it had air-conditioning, twin sinks, separate shower, bath, four poster bed, desk, radio, exposed oak beams, mini bar, safe. The staff were very helpful and attentive - breakfast was typical Continental - however we noticed that they had a better buffet on weekends than in the week. The hotel and room were very clean. You had to pay 15euros a day to park in the hotel's underground car park but we couldn't get a space. There was a charge of 10euros a day to use wi-fi which we thought was a rip off. If you order tea with your breakfast, they give you a small cast iron tea pot with hot water in it (not boiling) so I ended up with lukewarm tea for two mornings - thereafter I ordered coffee which was fine.

First of all , the location is great. You are in the heart of the old city center and next to the river but without having all the noise of it. Ideal for city tour. We chose the exceptional double room which was really beautiful. I reccomend it to all loving couples.

Stayed several times before and the service is extremely efficient and friendly. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and large and the breakfasts very good. Central Ghent on the doorstep with access to the tram system two minutes walk away. A fine place to stay.

Fantastic comfort for fantastic price! Great staff and very welcoming reception! Perfect breakfast! Wifi free! Pet friendly and for fantastic price (10 eur total stay) Great and very spacy room! I really like our stay! I would recommend to everybody, it is really quite place and you can walk to the beach or you can go by car to other small towns. Fantastic weekend!

Location, Location, Location This is a recurring problem with every hotel I stayed in Europe. No one thinks to clean the tv remote even though you can clearly see its filthy. God knows how many people have used it after doing nasty things with their hands .

Prachtig hotel in het centrum van Gent (patershol), vriendelijke ontvangst en mooie kamer op de eerste verdieping met zicht op het zwembad en het terras. Warm onthaal met een welkomstdrankje in de bar. Uitgebreid ontbijt (6 soorten kaas, 3 soorten vlees, zalm, verse fruitsla, ontbijkoeken, brood, pannekoeken....) Het nadeel van deze kamer was, gezien het historisch karakter van het gebouw, dat je hoort wanneer iemand in de kamer erboven rondwandelt. Indien je wil parkeren doe je dit beter in de ondergrondse parking op de Vrijdagmarkt (€10/24u) op ongeveer 150m van het hotel) dan in de garage van het hotel (€15/24u)

Bien placé Beaucoup trop bruyant, les voitures passants sur les pavés font beaucoup de bruit et les chambres sont très mal isolées phoniquement, on entend beaucoup trop ce qui se passe au dessus.

Super hotel! Het hotel is makkelijk bereikbaar en een perfecte ligging in het midden van het oud historisch centrum. Wij zaten in een luxe kamer en deze was ook echt lux, bubbelbad etc. We hebben een aparitief in de bar gedronken en van 6 tot 8 is er gratis tapas wat erg lekker en gezellig was. Zeer goede ervaring!!

Zeer vriendelijk & behulpzaam personeel, parking mogelijk (wel betalend), verzorgd en uitgebreid ontbijt met lekkere koffie, heel mooi ingerichte en ruime (luxe-)kamer, badkamer met groooot bad/douche en zeer goed bed met zacht linnen. Goed verduisterende gordijnen. Zwembad op het binnenplein, moet zalig zijn in de zomer! Prachtig zicht aan de voorkant, zeer rustig aan de achterkant. Centrum Gent, ideale uitvalsbasis om de stad te bezoeken.

Très bon hôtel en plein centre historique face aux canaux. A 2 minutes à pied du Parking p1 si parking hôtel complet. Personnel multilingue. Petit déjeuner très complet. Avons pris chambre "exception" qui est très atypique et en duplex. Avons moins aimé la literie pas assez confortable.

Geweldig centraal gelegen hotel, personeel hel vriendelijk en correct. Mooie kamer in rustige omgeving. Niet echt een klacht, maar aanbeveling. Kamer met jacuzzi is prachtig maar doe een douchemat in de jacuzzi als er ook in gedouched moet worden. Is nml bijhoorlijk glad. Dit om ongelukken te vermijden.

Wij hadden de exeptional kamer met jacuzzi. Hier was niets op aan te merken. Ook het ontbijt was erg goed. Om 10.10u werd alles nog steeds aangevuld ondanks dat het ontbijt om 10u officieel gedaan was, ik heb ooit anders meegemaakt! Het hotel ligt in het centrum van Gent op enkele stappen van de leie. Vriendelijk personeel. Zeker een aanrader!

Ordelijk, proper en degelijk bed. Maar... Prijs kwaliteit: voor die prijs zou er gratis internet mogen zijn. Wij hebben eigenlijk geen goede ervaring met hotel Harmony. Wij hebben een hele nacht niet kunnen slapen omdat de verwarming niet lager dan 18 graden kon gezet worden, en bijgevolg heel de nacht opstond. Met als gevolg dat we ook veel gedronken hebben die nacht en dus ook nog eens die kost erbij kwam. Wij gaan volgende keer in ieder geval ergens anders logeren. Met vriendelijke groeten Ellen en Erik Verwarming die niet afgezet kan worden 'snachts.
