The friendly welcome. The location in Zuid was excellent, quiet but in a lovely up and coming hip neighbourhood. Antwerp is a very enjoyable city overall.

The room was grubby, dirty carpet and a strong smell of old cigarette smoke which kept me up all night despite having the window wide open. I booked a non-smoking room but there was an ash tray and that horrible smell. The mattress had old springs that poked me all night, not comfortable at all. The breakfast was ok but there was a shocking sensationalist tv programma playing and the hotel lady complaining about dog poo so the atmosphere was rather miserable.

Owner was nice, room was clean and tidy. Wifi worked. what else do you need for you city trip

Location is not perfect but reachable - 10 minutes by tram 12 from central station.

A little out of the way from the main bars and restaurants, but in a pleasant location nonetheless.

Although the location was not in the center of the city, it was conveniently located near public transportation so it was easy to get around Antwerp. Also, the hotel was in a nice part of town near many restaurants and bars. It is a basic, no-frills property.Our room was clean and comfortable. I liked the fact that there was a lighted makeup mirror in the bathroom. Only a woman would have thought of that ;) I also liked the free wi-fi.

Small, steep stairway to get to rooms. If you have heavy luggage or are handicapped, it is not an accessible property. The hotel keeper was polite but a very uptight person who rushes her customers during breakfast (which is mediocre and costs 5 euros per person.) to eat fast so she can clean up and also check in and out is rushed.

The price is good.

The room was damn small, and on the 3rd floor with very steep stairs. Parking is pretty 3 min walk from the hotel and requires a keychain from the reception to open the gate.

Clean and nicely decorated in nice house in interesting neighboorhood gentrified, but still interesting, with lots of bars and restaurants). Friendly and helpful staff and low prices. Breakfast standard but copious.

We had a quiet room on the highest floor.Friendly staff and good service. Breakfast pleasant, eggs are cooked for us on the spot. The hotel is situated close to the city center, -- 15 minute walk -- in a quiet neighborhood. Summarized: Simply pleasant. Recommendable.

The lady at the reception was friendly. I found sweet there was an extra blanket in the room. The shower is quite spacious.

I booked a non-smoking room but there was an ash tray in my room as well as on each floor in the hall. The hotel didn't smell like smoke.. most probably because the guest were considerate enough not to smoke in the hall. The staircase is rather steep, there is no lift. The hotel is in desperate need of new mattresses and refurbishing in general. After having driven for 10 hours I was looking forward to a good night sleep but instead I had springs poking my rips all night. Also the windows are not double-glazed and though I was on the top 3rd floor, the noise from the street woke me up early in the morning. The breakfast buffet is rather pitiful and not worth the money.

The hotel staff was excellent. Very friendly welcome, has assisted us with getting around, internet access, we could use the microwave to heat up some soup in the evening.

La Wifi ne fonctionne pas malgré le code d'accès

Gastvrouw was heel erg vriendelijk en gaf spontaan tips omtrent openbaar vervoer, leuke plekjes in de stad, belde een taxi voor ons en gaf een kamer die beter bereikbaar was ivm krukken lopen. Kortom; top!

Niets, prima , goed gelegen budgetvriendelijk hotel. Goed ontbijt.

Prima bedden en rustige locatie in 't leuke Zuid. Alles op loopafstand.

Wifi werkt alleen beneden bij de receptie. De douchekop kan niet hangen en moet je dus zelf vasthouden. Ook werd het water niet erg warm. In het gordijn zaten gaten en de kamer maakte een gedateerde indruk.

Er goed basic hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel.

raar gevoel bij het binnenkomen, slordige deur maar dat gevoel gaat vlug over door de vriendlelijke ontvangst = vriendelijk personeel gratis parking wat verderop

Uitermate vriendelijke gastvrouwen. Bed goed en tv prettig. Schoon. Goede ligging om lopend Antwerpen te verkennen.

De verwarming kan niet uit en deze tikte heel erg. Ook al was het raam open het bleef heet. Het behang was op verschillende plaatsen los en de meubels erg gedateerd en gammel. Wel vlekken op de vloer. soort chloor vlekken.

De ligging was prima T.O.V. de stad, waar we moesten zijn. We hadden een kleine rustige kamer. Die was verder schoon.

Een praatgrage Antwerpse gastvrouw die met haar leptop in de eetkamer zit te skypen en we mogen luistern naar allerlei nutteloos gepraat. Ik miste in de douche de champo, er lagen wel 2 stukjes zeep. Op zondagmorgen was het ontbijt best karig, we kregen 'smorgens te horen dat ze op zondag niet voor vers brood kon zorgen.

Propere kamer en badkamer. Vriendelijke eigenares. Lekker eenvoudig ontbijt.
