Friendly staff, good location and nice breakfast.
The mattress wasn't great and the room was very hot at night.
Great staff, very accommodating and friendly. Nice cozy room. Great location. Only 5 min walk from Markt
Some people may dislike the fact that the shower is part of the main room so you step out onto carpet, but I liked it
Friendly staff value for money.great location.
Would have liked file screens on the window being summer we needed the windows open . Mosquito's at that time of the year.
Central location. Safety. Breakfast very good and rich. The room was clean.
Moisture smell in the room. Quite expensive for 1 star hotel.
City centre location at a reasonable price.
Room OK but we had a plague of Mosquitos, not sure it is a regular feature but we got bitten?
Very friendly and helpful staff (!), good location
The front door lock should be fixed
Clean comfortable room, great breakfast, excellent friendly staff
noise from the horses until late
Right in the middle of things. Excellent value. Great staff.
squeaky floors, no a/c, but can't really complain for the price!
The hotel is really well priced and the building is fabulous. The location is great and Bruges is such a beautiful city. It had a really good vibe and that was down to the patron who was proactive and very helpful
loved being in the centre and able to hear the bells and the horse and carriages going past. Great value for money, it is a basic hotel dont expect luxury. lovely continental breakfast and helpful staff.
Situated in the heart of the city, cosy homy hotel, with welcoming and helpful staff, comfortable room with a big bathroom, full breakfast, very good wi-fi but only in the lobby, good value for money
Not much light and weak wi-fi connection in the room
Near the center and the staff was super-friendly.
Everything was absolutely ok. (However the stairs to the rooms are quite steep, but we have to climb it twice w day, so it is OK.)
the owner and his parents were very friendly offering suggestions of where to go and what to see. The hotel was nicely located for getting about Bruges
The stairs to the bedrooms, somewhat steep
Location, comfortable bed
Wi-Fi didn't always work in the room
Friendly staff, free WiFi, very good breakfast, great location.
Stairs - I was a little scared walking them.
The location of the hotel was excellent, it was right in the center of all the things to do. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of bread, meats, jams, and some cereal (all very filling). The staff is also very nice and helpful.
The only thing that was a bit annoying was that there was a bit of a trick to the lock on the door to get to lock/unlock properly.
Close to the centre, staircase not that steep and very classy, perfect breakfast and great deal for that price.
Very very small bathroom (about 1 sq m) but good enough for one or two nights. Bruges are very expensive so this hotel was a great choice. Although there was no parking lot (only on the street for about 2 euros per hour, but just in front of the hotel.
Friendly staff, good breakfasts.
Very noisy beds, squeaked with all movements. We were two mature women travelling together and shared a room with twin beds. Our sleep was disturbed.
Good location. Free Wi-Fi in room. Clean and cozy room. Photos: http://dolzhenkov.ru/2014/06/hotel-notre-dame-bryugge-belgiya/
Tiny toilet, a bit steep stairs.
Location was great, and great value for money, facilities basic but what you expect. Staff really good asked me what looking to do and advised me what and where to go. Recommended excellent bar with live rock music which was also attending.
Soft matress but personal preference. steep staircase if people have mobility issues.
Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location near markt and canals.
Odd shower/toilet arrangement.
Location easy access to all central
The Hotel location was superb, the reception too! A bit expensive for the current facilities, but all in all I sure would recomened it!
1. Arrived at pre/agreed upon time of 11pm, but no one there to let us in, only a note on door to call them. Since my cell phone service does not work in Europe, we had to find a restaurant who kindly called the number for us to let us in. 2. Shower flooded with dirty drain water every use of shower or sink. 3. Staff slow to have plumber arrive and then said it was fixed on last day/departure when it was not fixed. 4. When we plugged in our US electrical adapter, it blew a fuse and we lost all electricity. 5. No elevator with many steep, small spiraling steps.
Very kind family. Helpful in all ways with info and getting around the city. Someone was always there to answer questions. Wifi worked fine. It's good value for the price, and was quiet with good hot water, cable tv.
Slightly soft bed. Had room on second floor so steep climb up spiral staircase, but good exercise for me after eating all the delicious chocolate!
