Location, restaurant and bar particularly the fire.
Room was very tired and reception staff and breakfast staff not particularly welcoming.
Unpleasant smell in the reception/lobby areas
Location, value for money and helpful staff when I became unwell.
- location is just walking distance to the main train station and other points of interest. -the room & bathroom is cozy -buffet breakfast was good including eggs, coffee, etc.
- WIFI signal was intermittent. it's actually only in the lobby
Very dirty old and dirty hotel. Very bad hygiene Clean towels waiting on the floor waiting to be used, rooms are very old and dirty, not cleaned properly !!
location ,staff views
Wi-fi did not work at all though was announced. Bathtub is designed in a way, that you can not be standing there - total height about 1,2 meters. Very poor sound isolation.
Hotel a bit tired
Great location. Equidistant to main centre and train station. Nice and quiet.
Our room was quite dated in the old wing!. We walked by other newer rooms on the way. Not nice to see!
Breakfast was ok but no fresh fruit Good location
Stated minibar in room that is topped up daily- this was just an empty fridge. Needs a lick of paint.
THE LOCATION WAS IN THE TOWN CENTER, IT WAS CLEAN WARM AND FRIENDLY. WILL USE NEXT TIME WE VISIT
OK location, Good price considering average Brugge prices.
Terrible ventilation, breakfast was so-so, shower was untidy.
Great location , easy walking distance of shops, square & train station. Good value for money
No major complaints -though I don't get why so many European hotels give two, single duvets for a double bed instead of one big duvet! Needs a bit of care & attention- frayed towels, new TVs, etc -but nothing that would stop me recommending this hotel
Excellent location and friendly staff. Room 202 refurbished and stylish fixtures. Breakfast was good. Elevator to all floors.
Internet didn't work inside at all but was fine just outside the front door.
clean and comfortble bed
WIFI not work
Location was great.
Hotel was tired, door handles falling off and bathroom dirty. In real need of some loving and upgrade.
Central location for Brugge
Would have preferred main building accommodation as opposed to the annex. Access to accommodation was via a smelly back street. The actual room was very noisy for most of the night (generator or something equally noisy running)
The hotel is near the central so it's close to everything and one don't have to walk a lot to reach his destination.
poor wifi ( no signal at all).
The room was very hot, no air conditioning so windows were open whick encouraged mosquitos in which were in a biting mood. Did not sleep the first night . We were given a fan the 2nd night which all I could say about was useless. Restaurant priced well over the top compared with other retaurants nearby.
The room was confortable The staff very nice Perfect position not far from the station in front of The Concertgebow
Wifi didnt work in the room No soap in the bathroom only one towel, impossible to have a bath because the lid didn't close the tub Poor breakfast, maybe I was late..
Location of the hotel, got the room we requested. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 10/15 years and return because we have always enjoy our stay.
this year we were less than impressed. Breakfast staff were very poor, room was not as clean as usual and we could not get any british TV programmes, which have always been available in past .
Location Breakfast Staff
safety (ground floor) noise no shower corner, just bath
perfect location, everything was good
It was noisy in the morning due to construction works nearby, but I suppose that the construction is already over :)
Decking outside room was collapsing. Ashtray on table on terrace outside full of cigarettr butts etc. Sock left on bedroom floor. Poor ventilation of room
The city is beautiful, post card photos around every corner. The canal trip is fun. We were there for their annual food Fest. The food and atmosphere was fun, very local.
Staff most unhelpful or completely absent, poorly maintained, a light fixture was pulled off the wall and left dangling, bashed up lampshades, threadbare linens and towels. We were lectured by a waiter at the hotel restaurant for not having a reservation, even tho it was early for dinner and with the place almost empty. We were told to sit at a dark bar area to wait until an opening was available if one appeared. Very rude, we left and did not bother to go back. Overall we got the sense that most of the Belgium's we encountered wanted our money but had no interest in anything else, most ranged between fawning and looking right thru us. There were exceptions particularly in the artist market and the antique markets.
