Hotel Relais Ravestein  

Die Lage an einem Kanal in Brügge ist sehr schön, allerdings rd. 600 m vom Zentrum entfernt.

Das Zimmer war für den Preis (200 € pro Nacht als Doppelzimmer) recht klein, die Austattung schon betagt. An einer Stelle im Flur waren deutliche Wasserschäden sichtbar. In der Nacht wurden wir zwei Mal dadurch geweckt, dass aus der Dusche - obwohl vollständig zugedreht - Wasser plätscherte.

Sehr gepflegtes kleines juwel - extrem freundliches und bemühtes Personal - wunderschöne terrasse (zum Frühstücken, Zwischendurch und für´s Abenddinner im exklusiven RESTAURANTbetrieb - traumhafte Lage direkt an Kanal und nur 5-10 Gehminuten vom Markt, ich komme wieder!!!

Das Frühstück bei den Zimmerpreisen(Suite 337,00 Euro pro Übernachtung)noch extra bezahlt werden muß! Frühstück pro Person 21,00 Euro.

We really enjoyed the location and the room was comfortable and cosy.

Housekeeping stuff forgot to bring us the towels, so we had to ask for it.

At efficient check in staff gave us information about the city and it's attractions as well as the hotel facilities. Unfortunately staying for only one night we did not use the restaurant, but the breakfast was excellent.

There was nothing that I did not like. I have already recommended it to friends and hope to return for a longer visit myself.

Room well-lit and had all the facilities we needed - wi-fi, bath, champagne glasses.

very large suite ,perfect for family with children . The children can sleep upstairs and they have their own tv too. Jacuzzi at the room was excellent!

Breakfast not included and it cost 21 Euros per person.

Understaffed : only one person was available at reception desk.

Fantastic canal side location. Funky interior. Attractive and contemporary terrace overlooking the canals of Brugge. Excellent room for family as split level. Delicious breakfast. Staff very helpful. Parking easy. Very stylish decor in rooms. Would stay again.

Room was expensive for what we got. Jacuzzi did not work, air conditioning did not work, lots of small things were broken or inop. I would say it is a three star hotel.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, including finding me a socket adaptor and kettle. We had our evening meal there and they were very attentive, even offering a timeslot earlier than the normal opening if we preferred. The room was perfect for a family, and the whirlpool bath with underwater light was a hit with the children. Parking on site was free.

I think breakfast shoud have been included in the price. It was expensive anyway and even more so to add breakfast so we ate out - no problem with lots of tearooms around. Also they didn't provide free tea and coffee in the room, hence my need for a kettle, and luckily I'd brought my own flask etc for the journey. There was a mini-bar that was a handy fridge for the milk, but it was also necessary to pay for absolutely everything, even a bottle of water. It would have been nice to get something in the room deal, which made it feel a bit mean. I suggested they also need hooks on the backs of the bathroom door for the wet towels, to hang clothes up etc. a waste bin in the bedroom as well as in the bathroom would have been useful.
