The room, the view, the location, the modern facilities in the room, the breakfast. Our room was equipped with a tub beside the bed, a bose stereo, flat TV, kitchen, fridge, a huge and beautiful bathroom, a long fishbowl. It wasn't be better for us. We spent Christmas there and was MAGIC.
To be very critic I would say that the bed could be changed for a better one and also the pillows. One of the guys from the reception desk was not too kind. What we definitely didn't like was to go back! Bruges is a dreamed town and the Hotel suits perfect to enjoy it.
Location perfect, friendly service and loved the cozy warm lounge and of course loved the attention of Speedy the cat.
One minor comment - there was a smell of drains in in stairwell one of the days.
location, price, breakfast
bed on mezzanine floor - narrow steep stairs to climb. plus, man behind desk unhelpful - we had returned to get our suitcase and asked for a cup of tea/coffee - he said bar was shut for cleaning. we asked if we could just sit there for a while as we were early for a train. but he was very offhand and said no, as he had to clean. its a huge bar cant see what his problem was
Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean and comfortable hotel in a good location. Ticks all the boxes
Our third stay at this place which is located just off the main shopping street and close to restaurants and bars. Helpful staff, Clean, well-equipped room. Plentiful breakfast. Good WiFi. Overall, excellent value for money.
Polite and friendly staff. Quirky rooms. Cute fish tank and balcony. Shower was lovely. Waffles at breakfast were lovely.
Room needed a little paint and the shower a clean
Excellent central position. Good, varied continental type breakfast.
Couldn't work shower, shower head holder broken. No instructions for coffee maker so couldn't make a coffee when we got in that evening or in the morning. Would take my own hairdryer next time as not very powerful one in bathroom.
location, generous size room, comfy bed, great view, speedy the cat, breakfast, friendly staff. A hotel with personality and character. Would we stay again? Absolutely.
The hotel is in a fantastic location for seeing Brugge. The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. I'd happily return.
The location was great as was the service. The waffles at breakfast
The stairs. No lift so it was a bit of a climb.
One great staff member. Another was surly when I missed breakfast by 10 minutes.
Staff spoke perfect English and were very friendly and helpful. There is a cosy lounge area with a fire and complimentary coffee. Breakfast is lovely and fresh, with the option of waffles! Resident cat is very cute! Definitely recommend this property.
Very helpful staff. Great position overlooking the cathedral. Nice breakfast, in good simple setting. Lovely spacious room at the top of the old building. Wonderful hotel cat.
Great jacuzzi in the bathroom, but it didn't work, and had constantly leaking tap.
Fantastic location, quirky rooms, pleasant staff
A magnificent place to visit, More beautiful than we ever imagined! Must try a cherry beer & go on a canal cruise to find 'Fidel' the famous Labrador in the window!
The staff couldn't do enough for us,pleasant and friendly .The hotel was comfortable and homely.loved the sitting room with a beautiful feature fireplace.Rooms where very comfortable a clean, would defently make a return visit.
Great location really welcoming staff clean and comfortable
Location was great, could walk to everything. Funky place, great little bar/breakfast area. Loved the cat - Speedy. Staff was very nice and helpful. Bathroom looked new.
There's really nothing that I didn't like. If I was being hyper critical I could say the carpet could use replacing. Speedy does like to jump up on tables.
Great location at just the edge of the compact old town - everything is within walking distance. Enjoyed the chat with the bartender who gave is great restaurant recommendations. Room is huge and clean. On 2nd floor with no lift. Breakfast is included - enjoyed the home made waffle.
Bathroom did not work quite well though clean and big enough to tolerate for 3 days
Great location, great staff, great breakfast. Very clean. Cosy rooms each with personality of itself. Lovecats!
Nice, small hotel at the heart of old town of Brugge. Easy to find, close parking, close to shopping area , restourants, points of interest in the old town. Good choice for breakfast. English speaking stuff. Tea/coffee equipment and fridge in the room.
All the staff (Oli in particular) was very helpful with lots information and suggestions on where to go in Bruges! We loved the lounge area, very relaxing and specious. The presence of Speedy (the cat) made it even cozier.
Excellent location & very quiet considering you are in the heart of the town. Staff (Ollie) was very helpful & made some excellent suggestions for beers, bars & restaurants. Breakfast was good, nice freshly cooked eggs, meats, cheese, breads etc. we stayed in room 1, excellent bed and super comfortable. Fish tanks! The outside terrace was good to enjoy some fresh air. Husband loved the puzzle wall.
The stairs to the bedroom are very step & not too wide but the quirky room made up for it.
This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel which is situated just a few yards from the main shopping street and close to Bruges' main square. If you're looking for free parking, you have to go outside the ring-road, about a 20-minute walk away, as you might expect with a city-centre hotel. Very helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Voucher for free glass of beer and free coffee in the lounge all day. Choice of eggs or waffle plus buffet for breakfast. Good free WiFi.
Location good choice for breakfast helpful staff
Steep and winding stairs
