Best Western Hotel Sirius (最佳西方天狼星酒店)    

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were well presented and comfortable. The location by the river was good. There was secure parking.

One word... BED ... Was fab!

I ended up paying over €80 more than the rest of my friends who booked directly with hotel . I went with a .com site ... Won't do that again .

We stayed here en route to Germany from Dieppe, having taken an overnight ferry. We arrived in Huy mid morning and were very tired, so chanced booking in early - this was no problem to very helpful friendly staff. The hotel was easy to find, in a good location overlooking the river. It was immaculately clean, and the room/bathroom were very nice with toiletries and big fluffy towels! In fact the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Tea/coffee facilities a welcome benefit, as were complimentary soft drinks in the mini bar. There is parking at the front of the hotel, but also a small secure car park which we used to give the car a break and walk into town (approx 5-10 mins). Good choice of breakfast buffet. And uk tv channel too (bbc1).

The only minor niggle was no restaurant at the hotel, but it does have a bar.

My husband and I had stayed there several times before and had always found it very good. We could walk into Huy town.

They eventually changed our room as the one we were allocated for 3 of us was too small.

The room was incredibly hot, even with the fan on and window open. Could really benefit from air conditioning. Especially considering it was not a particularly hot weather when when we stayed. Would not consider using your hotel again in hot weather for this reason.

the triple rooms are in fact rooms for four persons. Rooms are communicating with each other.

We booked for 2 rooms and they were place at 2 different levels

The reception staff made us welcome and were very professional in the way they dealt with us throughout our short stay. We spent most of the time out and about with our twin Rotary Club of Amay friends and visited a number of locations nearby including the Abbaye Val Dieu and the Fort Eben-Emael. Our room which was a twin bedded room was clean, tidy and serviced. The restaurant provided a most acceptable breakfast. Overall hospitality was excellent and we would have no reservation in recommending friends and others to stay at this hotel which we intend to do again when we go back to Amay in 2 years time.

Staff must remember to stock up the coffee etc each morning when servicing the room.

I liked the hotel itself: modern, cozy. The room was a triple, but still extremely small. The parking is free, although outside the hotel there was a lot of space for parking. They brought us a baby bed as requested, and they placed in the room for free.

The weather was warm and humid, so there were 22c outside. In the room it was >24c, and no air conditioning. We felt we were like in a sauna! We could not sleep very well. The freezer was not well furnished.

Personnel très avenant, hôtel calme, situation en face de la Meuse et près du centre. Mini bar compris dans le prix, parking privé et déjeuner très complet.

Rare a dire, mais tous était bien.

Petit déjeuner très copieux: produits locaux disponibles mais passez mis en évidence (excellent smoothie maison). Personnel très aimable. Proche du centre de Huy à 2 minutes en voiture- 20 min à pied.

Salle de bains: bruit du ventilateur d'extraction inconfortable - prévoir des modèles plus silencieux. Prix de la chambre normal, pas de réduction extraordinaire.

la serviabilité et gentillesses du personnel, le confort, les boissons dans le petit bar mis à notre disposition, le petit déjeuner, le calme, la situation proche du centre ville de ces restaurants....et commerces, le parking sécurisé.
