Hotel Auberge St. Pol  

A gem of a hotel. We especially liked the fantastic hotel staff, especially the owner, who tried in every way to make our stay perfect. Our Aunt, who is at present walking with a stick, was offered the hire of a wheelchair (3 euros a day) and this made it possible for her to visit and enjoy many more attractions. We hadn't even thought of this option and it showed the care and consideration of the hotel staff. The rooms with balconies are a real asset and to sit on the terrace outside the hotel with drinks was extremely pleasant. The hotel breakfast is plentiful and served until 11a.m.!! We especially enjoyed the fresh fruit salad with peaches,watermelon, pineapple etc. and the selection of wonderful Belgian breads. Being able to walk to restaurants on the nearby square was great and then everyone could have some wine!! 2 hours from Calais - perfect for a long weekend.

Reception very welcoming and informative.We stayed in a large ground floor room with very nice patio area for one night . Attention to detail in accomodation was excellent. A good variety of food at breakfast.

May 2011 A new hotel being built next to the hotel did not cause any disturbance.

about kilometer from the promenade, some hundreds meters to the national bird watch park, really well located

rather basic for the price, you can hear your neightbours - pitty.... internet connetcion availbalbe but verrrrry slow...

The warm welcome, the clean and well-dressed rooms (Scapa style), the fantastic breakfast and the great location at the countryside of Knokke, close to the Zwin nature park, but still at a walking distance of some great restaurants. There's also a very nice kid's playground and restaurant (called Siska) at 300m from the hotel (try the amazing home-made wafles there!). Last but not least, the centre of mondaine Knokke is only a 15min walk away.

L'accueil fut exemplaire et très chaleureux, le patron et ses employés sont charmants et accueillants. La chambre familiale est très spacieuse, très confortable et irréprochable niveau propreté. L'hygiène dans tout l'hôtel est très soigné. Le petit déjeuner est gargantuesque et délicieux. La localisation est un peu à l'écart et très au calme. Le cadre est très sympa et donne accès direct au dunes et à la réserve du Zwin, à quelques centaines de mètres de la plage.

Aucun motif d'insatisfaction lors du séjour, que du contraire : l'établissement a parfaitement répondu à nos attentes. Peut-être simplement prévoir à l'avenir un petit module ou une balançoire pour les enfants à l'extérieur.

Mooi rustig hotel, uitstekend ontbijtbuffet, mooie kamer, zeer goede bedden, goed uitgeruste badkamer.

Endlich ein Hotel das sich dem für Knokke üblichen Blümchen- Schnickschnack widersetzt. Ein modernes Haus in maritimen Stil. Erwähnenswert ist insbesondere der sehr gute Service sowie die stets freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Hotelmitarbeiter. Die Inhaber sorgen für eine durchweg entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und ansprechend angerichtet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen eigenen Fahrradverleih. Die Superior-Doppelzimmer haben sogar eine eigene Terasse mit Gartenblick.

Een no nonsense hotel, goede bedden, verzorgd ontbijt, goede service, er werden bij aankomst meteen fietsen voor ons gehaald, drankjes naar de kamer gebracht. Strand en stad ongev. 10 minuten fietsen maar alsook de zon voor je is geregeld dan is die fietstocht zeker geen straf.Ook de schoonmaakmeisjes waren erg aardig.

Kleine ongezellige wc in hotelkamer die bovendien erg naar chemische middelen ruikt. Misschien een prettiger luchtje erin kieperen?
