Everything expected from the Hotel was perfect, no dramas !
The stuff was friendly and breakfast was ok room was clean and location was good.
The main hall doesn't look good, dirty carpet and descent reception. On pictures everything looks better than on the pictures. Bathroom smels not very freshly. Room looks like since 20 years nothing was changed there.
No Air Conditioner
Not an extensive breakfast, but enough to choose from.
Poor shower, needs clean head.
Description of hotel on site did not match, what was available, Staff advised us where to park and vehicle was towed away, large gangs of people congregating making visitors feel apprehensive and unsafe in the area. Unhappy in general and would not return
safety, n clean
Please inform tourist which metro station is nearest to your hotel so they can get off there and walk there with their heavy luggage with ease.
From the entrance is stinking as old and not clean. Staff not friendly at all! No invoice for payment! No parking place available, even the private one - maybe reserved for the staff friends! Location is very bad, a lot of unfriendly guys looking what to steal - coordinated by hotel staff! Lot of bad smelling fast-foods in front of the hotel, very dirty on the street!
quite old ('70/'80's) but relatively clean service was OK, housekeeping not far from the old town (app. 20 min walk), and from Gare du Midi (10 min walk) affordable - probabyly the cheapest option if you look for room for 2 persons with toilet/shower
weird neighbourhood, doesn't look safe, especially at night breakfast was very poor - choice is limited, but you get what you pay for
The location is good
U have to pay for Wifi
Wifi is not free.
It was close to Brussels Midi station Late check-in time
Very warm in the room, no airco. Very small rooms Only shower gel provided and towels Paying 5 euro for the internet Cannot borrow a wine glass from the bar No smile from the staff Unfriendly location
The location was very good, near the train station and subway station. Historical centrum is also nearby, you can get there within 15 minutes by foot. You can take their free shuttle bus from/to Brussel Zuid train station on your day of arrival/departure. Good value for money.
Though we put a non-smoking preference in our booking, our room smelled of smoke like there was someone smoking right before we arrived.
Staff were friendly and helpful
Very noisy location
Staff was friendly and spoke English. Easy part of town to get to by walking from the centre. Very clean. Very low cost. Nice amenities for the price. Perfect for young couples who don't mind a little noise.
No ac. The neighbourhood gets scetchy at night. The neighbourhood when we stayed there was really loud starting at midnight until 3am. Not so good for families or middle aged to older couples.
It was good value for the money. The breakfast was good. It is very central placed hotel.
Private parking, position of hotel, 10 min walk to city centre
No free wifi, noisy but where is not in center of the Brussel
20 minutes walking from Brussles-Central station (and downtown). 10 minutes walking from Brussels-Midi (Zuid) station, which is very good for public transportation. Free shuttle from hotel to train station.
Bad neighborhood for walking at night, while returning from downtown. Very old and poor 14" TV in the corner of the room. No late checkout (it is just not possible).
excellent breakfast , good location to tourist spots, good luggage room
no free wi-fi , no good elevator to room, very small and congested room and bath.
I had to leave early to catch a train at 6.00am and it took 10 minutes to find the receptionist to open the door for me. I almost missed my train because of this and I chose this hotel for its close location to the train station.
Clean! Staff friendly
We asked for a double bed, but instead got two separate beds pushed towards eachother! Noisy as well!
Good spot, clean.
Booked a double bed and on arrival such room was not available and we got a twin...
double bed was actually two single ones put together without any connection
I enjoyed the location and breakfast.
The front deal staff one morning were atrocious! We asked for a taxi for our family of 5 to take us to the train station. It was pouring rain and not the best idea to take our 3yo out in it for the train ride back to London. He got irate and stated "you need 2 taxis" I said ok so please call 2 taxis. We knew this was not true as we had been taking taxis all week. Our 3yo sits in my lap and does not count as an additional person. He then pretty much called us lazy bc we didn't want to walk there. I said it's not his opinion and please call a taxi. After arguing for about 3 more minutes he finally did and quoted us at 10minutes. It was quite warm (20 Celsius) and humid and we went to stand outside. He got mad and said we were not allowed to because other taxis may think we were available. I said well we are since we have to wait 10 minutes for a taxi. When our taxi did arrive they were yelling at us because we called for 2 when we only needed 1. We explained it was the staff at the front desk. He then proceeded to tell the taxi driver (in French) I specifically requested 2 and he told me 1 and began saying some pretty horrid things about me and my husband. I then interrupted in French that I had not and he was lying. He turned very red and walked inside.
