No answers on my mails and phonecalls No answer (so far , 3 days after stay) on my complaint
1. We have asked for a double bed in our reservation request. When we have asked at the reception about this request, we were told that is was not possible to have it (after several minutes of arguing we have obtained a double bed - although 5 min before it wasn't possible). 2. We have not been informed about the cost of the breakfast at check-in, but at check-out, we had to pay additional 48% of the initial cost of our stay (the cost increased from 50 EUR/ night to 74 EUR/night) 3. The most impolite personnel from all hotels I have been accommodated. I have been called "rude", "poor", "I know it is not correct that you were not informed about the cost of the breakfast, but you have to pay it, because you eat it", "Where are you from?", "I am ashamed because I have some relatives in Romania and they are not like you", they were laughing when we were discussing very seriously, etc. I really felt that I was robbed for a certain amount of money and furthermore, offended 4. There are some rooms that are 3.5m x 3.5m (there is no place to get out of the bed but from one side of the bed) - rooms no. 423 & 426
the bedding and towels were absolutely worn out.
the rooms was very big and I liked that extra space, very good offer for Brussels, good location, I liked Petite Anatolie :)
10 minute walk to the main Centre, Free WiFi, Clean, Hotel staff friendly, good price for the rooms. What more do you need for a cheap break away with friends. Beer in Belgium is excellent.
Free wifi near metro and centre
No plug in bath Basic room
Good staff and breakfast.
Value for money and good location
It's quite easy to find the hotel as it is really close to Botanique metro station providing great access to both suburban landmarks (such as Atomium) and main railway stations as well. Downtown is literally not more than 15 minutes walking distance.
Instead of the requested double bed there were two not very comfortable twin beds in the room. Heating.
Friendly helpful staff. Good sized room. Warm and comfy.
The fit is getting a little dated. But that is part of the charm and I don't mind it really. I thought the reception area let the hotel down a bit.
Nice hotel, close to the metro and to the city center. Clean and spacious bathroom. We enjoyed our stay there.
The place is basic, but for 180 EUR for 3 nights I wouldn't expect anything more. The room is clean, the location is very good - a walk to the heart of Brussels is 10-15 minutes. I didn't use the breakfast option as the price seemed a bit high and that turned out the right decision - as there were numerous cafes arround where they served breakfast under 8 euros. All in all - satisfied. Car parking option very close to the hotel for 14EUR/24h.
There was some construction work done one saturday morning and as the walls are thing, everythig can be heard. The WiFi is slow.
Nice location, very easy to get anywhere else. A caffefour is just next door - you'll be using that. Staff were friendly enough.
Double room was 2 single beds pushed together, with 2 single duvets - not exactly comfortable as a couple. Room smelled heavily of old cigarette smoke, despite being non-smoking. Breakfast was very disappointing both in terms of quality and variety. We cancelled breakfast for rest of our stay after the first night. We had to fix the showerhead fitting ourselves as it was no longer attached to the wall - fortunately we had some superglue on us. several previous attempts by the hotel were evident by the number of holes. Curtains not long enough to actually cover the window - if facing street, expect an orange glow in your room. No bin in the room - had to leave rubbish in a neat pile on the floor, very odd.
Good value for money.
there was a fridge in the room, so I could buy things (eg. milk, butter) in the food store 50 m from the entrance of the hotel in order to have perfect self made breakfasts after waking up
Bad weather :)
Horrible facilities and not accomodating staff. Do yourself a favor and choose another hotel.
Very good deal, exceeded my expectations for the price. Very friendly and helpful concierge.
The pillow was very uncomfortable. WiFi did not reach our room very well, and sometimes not at all.
Sraff, room and breackfast
Good location, near metro line and a short walk to Brussels North Train Station (airport train and other destinations),anda 30min walk to the city centre. The room was small but perfect for our needs, tidy, comfortable and modern. Staff were friendly and the hotel is kept very clean. Great value for money for a short break.
The bed was 2 singles on a double frame which was a bit annoying but the bed was comfortable. It was cold in Belgium during our stay (January) and while the heating was adjustable it would have been better to have had another blanket for the bed!
