Very pleasant apartment, attractively furnished and well heated.
Our welcome pack of information was missing. A number of light bulbs needed replacing.
We were supposed to arrive on the day of a national strike, the staff helped us organise transport to get to the town.
The location was convenient to activities and our apartment overlooked the fountain. The kitchen was beautiful, small, but adequately stocked with plates, glasses, etc. The Jacuzzi tub more than makes up for the stand-alone shower.
The stand-alone shower was pointless. It was too small to shampoo hair because you could not move or raise elbows and the water stream was low. Not enough water to rinse a toe, much less the rest of your body.
very nice warm clean and spacious comfortable apartment in brilliant location close to everything. would recommend.
we couldn't adjust the very hot bathroom radiator and the middle bedroom bed was very squeaky!!
The beds and pillows. The space in our apartment-winter wonderland. The prime location.
only one toilet and bathroom for 6 persons in winter wonderland
Clean and tidy. Location was great. Just perfect.
Not enough pans in the kitchen to cook for 4 people.
We loved the presentation of both apartments. The location was superb. Everything was provided ie bedding and towels.
Our only complaint the shower head in the family bathroom is really only designed for rinsing hair in bath. There's no proper shower unless using the ensuite. And the water pressure and setting between bath and shower was difficult.
Close to city centre. Large airy flat. Well equipped
Main bathroom is off one bedroom. Noisy nightclub nearby
•Beautifully decorated and spacious apartment •Amazing location •Helpful staff, on hand if any problems •Good Wifi
•Smell of sewage from the shower in the evening but this seems a common problem in Bruges. It had gone by the morning •Main bedroom accessed through the bathroom
The apartments were in a great location within a 5 minute walk from the Market Square. The Indian Summer Apartment had a wow factor as we walked in. It was gorgeous and had everything that we required.
WiFi was quite poor, but it is not the end of the world. The kettle was covered in scale so we didn't use it.
Location Spaciousness Balcony Rooftop views
Lack of kitchen equipment as we were cooking for 6 for a week We abandoned use of the dishwasher as it didn't clean effectively Shower was not hot and not adjustable. No washbasin in toilet and there should have been a bathroom upstairs as the stairs were steep.
No real details regarding electrical equipment.
We stayed in the Mistral Apartment it was a 2 bedroom sleeps 4 apartment. The lay out is superb and the actual fit out and standard of the apartment cannot be faulted it is superb. The check in instructions for key collection etc were excellent the location is superb.
Please read the reviews ref Mistral Apartment this is overlooking a bar that comes alive at midnight Wednesday and Thursday of our 4 night stay were terrible it is extremely loud with people in the street literally shouting and singing. There are other apartments in this building which may not be affected BUT Mistral is it is even worse at weekends. Be Warned
Size of apartment Quality of decor and furnishings Location Cafes and restaurants close by Really helpful and friendly owners Courtyard
Bedrooms are not all on the same level as indicated when we booked - one is in the basement. Listed as having a coffee machine but remember to bring your own coffee as it's not a modern machine!
Very large, great kitchen, very modern bathrooms, great vaulted ceiling in the living area. The location is phenomenal, maybe a two minute walk to the market square. The reserved parking (€12 per day) was a nightmare to find at night, but was nice to have. I know I list some cons but this place was phenomenal, I'd recommend it to anyone.
We were expected to do our own dishes, with a broken dishwasher, and to take out out own trash. Not a big deal at all, but we paid a lot of money for this place. Standard housekeeping, or at least turnover cleaning, is reasonable to expect. From the minute you arrive in the dark entryway after having been very lost, until the minute you check out, you make contact with exactly zero humans. I kind of liked that, but it would've been comforting to know that someone cared about our satisfaction with the place. The parking was even more difficult to find, as it's just literally an elevator door on a street full of doors. And once you get into the garage, it's extremely tight.
Excellent location made all trips and sights easy to access
It's a pity the only bathroom was through one of the bedrooms!
The only shower available could only be accessed via one of the two bedrooms
Spacious, elegant and perfectly located within close walking distance to the Markt Square, shops and restaurants. This apartment is beautiful.
The noise from the cafe/bar was very loud and voices and venue noise carried into the apartment until the wee hours. This certainly wouldn't put me off the apartment because I think given the proximity to the Markt Square, the noise probably just goes with the location.
The only slight problem Was the Last two Nights (Wed Thurs) there was quite a bit of noise from the bar across the road. Two out of four nights was not bad as everything else made up for it
The apartment was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and in a perfect location. Beautiful kitchen and bathroom. The pictures do not do the apartment justice. Correspondence with owner was excellent. We were allowed into the apartment early as it was ready for us and once we checked out we could leave our luggage till it was time to go to the airport. I had emailed the owner to ask for recommendation for transfer from the airport. They replied immediately with a recommended private transfer companies details which turned out to be excellent and saved us money.
There were only a couple of little things which were not perfect. There was only one bedside lamp in the upstairs room so it was not ideal when one of our party wished to use the toilet during the night which was down stairs. One light bulb was not working. I would have liked there to have been a hairdryer for guests use. Only one toilet was not ideal, however we knew about that so are not complaining about this.
Excellent location. Fabulous comfy beds. Spotlessly clean.
no instructions how to work DVD player - deperate to watch 'In Bruges' Too many light bulbs not replaced so was quite dark. Frying pan was could not be used on induction hob.
Location, size of apartment, 2 bathrooms,
Wi-Fi didn't work at all. Bed's a bit hard. External noise at night was very bad.
Everthing about this apartment is amazing
Nice big apartment very close to the centre. Huge kitchen and living area. It would have been good to have had a translation of laundry appliance controls. We could leave our luggage inside the complex until our room was ready.
I didn't like the threat of being charged extra for not taking our recycling out.
The space was amazing. We couldn't believe how much room there was. A call to Raymond/Maria had our couple of questions answered instantly. We loved coming back to our palatial apartment at the end of each day.
As with some other reviewers, we were kept awake by the bar downstairs. One night it went on until 5:00 a.m. I feel sorry for all the owners at House of Seasons that they have to endure this blight on their business. As well, one of our group was bitten to death by mosquitoes. In the layout of the apartment it would have been nice to have a door to the bathroom from the hallway as well, so everyone doesn't have to go through the bedroom (too late now, I know!). We were three women, but if it was two couples (which the unit could accommodate) it would be awkward. It would be nice to have the door open with a keypad as well, like some of the other units. Then we wouldn't be thinking about the key when one of us was in or out. You should give instructions on opening the door - fortunately a cleaning person was in the courtyard when we arrived so she could show us - it's a bit tricky at first.
