A very smart hotel

Very good 3 stars hotel for 1 night stay just in front of the train station. I liked a patio with tables and chairs. we had our breakfast there.

Un-protected wi-fi....I Had a problem with my phone and still can't access my photos and couldn't use my phone's camera last 1,5 days. I am not it person and certainly can't say exactly how but I assume my phone was hacked because of that wi-fi

The rooms were very large and very clean. Bathroom was well appointed. We were travelling by train, so the location was excellent. Friendly staff on arrival, less so on departure

Breakfast was very poor value for money. We had much better breakfasts elsewhere on our holiday for 10 or 12 euros. The bedroom was incredibly hot. Air con wasn't working and there were no opening windows. It was so uncomfortably hot that we cancelled our intended stay at the end of our holiday.

1.When we finally check-in in the evening, the front desk lady is very friendly and gave us a room with bathtub as I requested in my booking. The bed is comfortable, very quiet at night, even it located near the train station. 2. Breakfast is included, not too bad for the price

1. The front desk guy is not friendly at all. When we arrived, we asked for the possibility to park, he mentioned only to park on the street but didn't mention the option to park in the garage nearby (with their hotel's reservation card, 10EUR per day till 12:00 check-out), the parking machine on the street can only park limited hours so it's not easy to leave the car there and walk around in the city, while he said it is possible to do so just send SMS to the number on the paying machine. He didn't provide clear information how to do that--he didn't even know if it's possible to send SMS with non-Belgium cellphone number. When we said to him, this is not really internationally minded he said it is not (so he consider Liege is not part of EU?!) Later when we asked other hotel's front desk (Best Western), we then knew Hotel Husa has garage to park. We got the card from him but again, this not-friendly personal didn't say how to use that card, simply said "just scan it" but when we arrived the garage gate there is nothing to "scan" the card to get into the garage. Eventually we had to press the button to get in by receiving a paper card and paid next day with 20 something EUR. Money is not the issue but his attitude really ruins the imprssion of this good hotel. 2. The room is comfortable but somehow toilet is smelly.

The hotel has an excellent location, just across from the main Liege train station. Also there are numerous affordable restaurants within a two- minute walk. The convenience store on the side of the station is directly across the hotel, and is open until 21.25, very useful! I had breakfast at the station every day, rather than take the expensive breakfast option at the hotel. The room was fairly clean and the bathroom was spotless. The wifi was strong, reliable and free.

The walls are a bit thin, noise gets in especially easily from the foyer. There was a strong smell of food in the bathroom in the morning, even though I was on the 3rd floor, coming perhaps from the breakfast kitchen via the air vent. Also keep in mind: because the hotel is right by the station, sometimes guests check in very late and may be noisy!

It was easy to find, staff was friendly, looked really nice. The bed was really comfortable, good pillows. It was nice to have tea at the room as well.

The bathroom wasn't so clean. Stains on the walls, even full handprints..

Very poor wifi connectivity

The room was really big and the hotel renovated. Although the street was noisy nothing was heard in the room. Many restaurants around with variety of food. Bus station in front of the hotel but more importantly the train station within 2 minutes. Also a supermarket.

The breakfast was expensive but you can find whatever you want in the train station, in some nice cafes. The neighborhood during the night is a little dark and doesn't look safe, but I think it was. It's far from the center (20-30 minutes walk).

Elegantly furnished, spacious rooms in a hotel situated right opposite the railway station and well placed for local transport.

The information document in my room was hopelessly out of date. It apologised for the phone being out of order (but it was not) and all the television channels are wrongly numbered. There is a cupboard without shelves but with a ventilation hole. It is clearly designed for a fridge; but there is no fridge, and without shelves the cupboard is useless. The breakfast--served by charming staff--is very poor and overpriced. There is little choice and the croissants are defrosted not fresh!

Spacious, modern and comfortable room. I slept wonderfully. Very quiet, the only real sound was the airco. Staff very friendly, although most of them don't speak any Dutch. One told me he was taking a course ! Buses in front of the hotel, number 1 and 4 brings you right to the center, to Place St Lambert. From there you can pick any bus. Station in front of the hotel. Surroundings are quite rundown, bars for rent, etc. On the other hand, that means no noise and not many people in front of the hotel. I would certainly come to this hotel again.

The long bar in the back of the hotel without windows didn't appeal to me. I only had my coffee there. It would be nice to have a lounge. Maybe the bar/restaurant next to the entrance? It would give more cachet to this excellent hotel and no extra nuisance in the future .

Modern rooms and a clean feel. A great hotel and a bargain. Couldn't recommend it enough. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location next to the amazing Liege-Guillemins station is perfect.

I got a great deal on Booking and this hotel was perfect. The location is across the street from the central train station giving access to train to Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in Welkenraedt and bus to ardennes american cemetery in Neupré (Neuville-en-Condroz).

Nothing. I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is just opposite the train station and the buss stops are all around. It was very quiet, the staff was very helpful. Very clean and spacious room. A kettle and the fridge were available.

Despite the fact, that I turned the heating on maximum, it was very cold in the room. But this is the only negative point.

Nice location directly opposite the main train station. City centre was still at walking distance (20 minutes). 24-hours reception.

There was a funny smell both in the room (it was a non-smoking room, but it smelled as if people had been smoking) and in the bathroom (sewer smell, but this might have been caused by the works that were being done on the street in front of the hotel).

The location is great, right across the street to the main station of Liege, and the buses to the city center is right in front of the hotel entrance. The room was clean, comfortable. The TV channels are great, even with Chinese ones. The staffs are good and helpful.

Excellent laundry service

Beautiful room, spacious, stylish and clean. Modern shower room. Big comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet and quite dark at night. Good breakfast, which was included. We paid 170 euros for 2 nights which was fine. Convenient location next to the station.

It was difficult to get the temperature right, it was cold when we wanted to go to bed, we turned the heating right up but it didnt get warmer right away, but in the morning it was very hot and the window was locked.

Very comfortable and clean. Modest price deal available. It was very quiet even though major reconstruction work taking place outside the hotel. It was also opposite the attractive rebuilt Liege Guillemins railway station with direct services from across Europe, and only 2km by bus or frequent local train to old city centre.

Breakfast is expensive 15 euros, so I did not have it. Cheaper basic breakfast deals at 4 euros available in excellent station cafes instead. Area around the hotel itself is run down and has little to offer at present, due to the road works and rebuilding, but not the hotel's fault.
