Fantastic property right on the main square!! The room was awesome for the money, albeit a little quirky... The staff in the restaurant (which is where you check in) were very friendly and just gave us the room key and left the "paperwork" to later so that we could drop our things and check out the wonderful room.
Single duvets on a double bed (actually two singles pushed together), otherwise we couldn't fault the place.
location, location, location. plus the restaurant staff were outstanding.good food and beer...
the kitchen could have been more user freindly.
bed location room in general value for money really nice staff really quiet
Handy location for walking in all directions. Great view over the square. Spacious room with comfy bed (even though 2 singles pushed together) and pillows. Cleanliness. Fridge. Soft towels.
Noise from the square - late night revellers and many early morning deliveries to all the restaurants. Just try not to stay up too late so you get enough sleep, then the advantages of the location make up for the noise. Or get earplugs. Not many accessible power points for recharging devices.
Everything! It was like staying in a stately home.
The location could hardly be better, and our room was beautifully decorated. The staff were very helpful and easy-going. Our breakfast (included) was both generous and delicious.
Not really a criticism because the windows are double-paned and block most sound when closed, but as our room looked onto the main square (which was great), it was a bit noisy on the week-end.

Very spacious, nice, clean room, with great views. The bathroom had a large bath and good shower, and there is a separate toilet. The location of the hotel is excellent, in the middle of the centre, with a very nice view over the 'Markt'. This means there can be some noise coming from outside, but there is double glazing, and this simply comes with the good location. The staff are all friendly and helpful, although also busy with running the bistro which is situated downstairs.
There was not really anything not to like; on the one hand we felt the price of the hotel was perhaps a bit high considering that some parts of the interior appear a bit older (like the fridge) and it was for example difficult to find a suitable socket for the kettle, but on the other hand the room was very grand and the location is in the middle of town centre. One thing was that the bed, advertised as a double (one of the reasons we choose this hotel), consisted of two separate mattresses.

Car parking around 400 meters No 24 reception It's a restaurant with hotel
Wonderful hotel with excellent staff. We can't wait to come back
The size of the room and the view over the square were amazing. The hotel rooms are very grand but the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. It was great just being able to go downstairs to eat or have a drink and feeling like part of a family. Everything was so close by that even though I and my husband can't walk too far easily we didn't feel we missed out on anything. We definitely want to go back in the not too distant future and would love to stay at the Huyz die Demaene again.
The only problem we had was that we could not get any hot water for the bath in the room but the shower was more than adequate for our two night stay.
Very large apartment, feel like home and not a hotel room at all. Amazing location and incredible view of the Markt square. You continue to experience Brugge from your room after your day in the city. This is a very nice extra! Clean and surprisingly quiet despite being located in the busiest area of the city. The guys running this place are very friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home. We really enjoyed entering through the restaurant and saying 'hello' every time we returned to our room. By the way, breakfast ws included and is really good.
Nothing at all.
Great location and a fabulous room.
The only disappointing thing was an early breakfast had been arranged due to our early departure time and this didn't happen. A small issue but it spoilt our stay there.
Terrific staff. Very welcoming. Excellent food in the restaurant. Can recommend the t-bone, delicious! Excellent central location. Great view. Quirky rooms, well appointed.
Cobbled square outside can be a bit noisy especially at delivery times in the morning
Didnt like that we were in the 2nd floor room, 1sy floor room same price and MUCH nicer
the staff, the bed, very comfy, the view.the food in the restaurant was very good ,we ate there twice!
booking form showed a different room ours was opulent but poorly lit needs more lamps to enable proper use of sitting area
