Hyllit Hotel  

The central location, close to the main train station and bus stop for the airport Expresss Bus. The room was big an clean. Breakfast was also very good.

One of the main criteria to choose a hotel is to have free wifi. In the Booking.com website it said that wifi internet was free in the hotel, and to my surprise in the hotel they had a fee for internet connection. First of all, I find it ridiculous that hotels still think they can make money with internet connections, the true is that they only loose, because many people will not choose hotels that charge for internet. But what I find unacceptable is this hotel advertises that Internet is free and once you arrive there you have to pay for it! I hope they change this pretty soon! Otherwise the hotel stay was very good.

gym opening hours very limited

There is no possinility to choose stairs. You can only use the elevators. But the cards that are necessary to use the elevator never work. We have to change the cards several times per day.

Large rooms, great location, really nice pool on the ground floor.

The staff in the reception was not very polite, be prepared.

We chose this hotel from previous reviews. It lived up to our expectations in all ways. Loved being able to park the car underneath while we walked for 2 days. It was very close to main street for shopping and to walk to old part of the city and the river. Excellent choice of food at the breakfast area. Great swimming pool and sauna area which we used. All very good and staff very nice. Very nice Hotel all round.

Very well situated at a close walking distance from the down town, the central station, the zoo and the diamond museum.

Rooms were quite small. The junior room was quite funny .It was like a 1bh apartmnt n not furnished.....

Excellent location. Very close to main train station and shopping district. I hired a car and car parking at hotel is excellent but arrive early as it fills up fast at weekends. Really nice hotel & will stay again.

Location is near shop and restaurants. Personnel is friendly and nice decoration.

My spouse and me liked everything.

We only stayed for one night, but could not fault anything. Lovely bedroom, the best shower experience and friendly staff everywhere - including the cleaners. We did not have breakfast (20 euros) so opted for a coffee and croissants at the nearby exk Cafe - an excellent and well run establishment.

Difficulty of driving to the hotel car park though this was more the fault of the roadworks in de keyserlei

The junior suite is quite large and has a large dining table making it convenient to do some computer work. Wifi is free of charge! Breakfast buffet contains variety of choices, even in cheese. You can order any type of coffee. Very helpful staff. Hotel close to shopping area, cinema , restaurants and central railway station.

Do not bother arranging parking space for you car in the hotel. The cark park Diamant across the street is cheaper and better accessible.
