On the trendy Avenue Louise in Brussels, the ibis Styles Brussels Louise has rooms with a flat-screen TV and free facilities including Wi-Fi, breakfast, as well as tea, coffee and water in the lobby.
Score from 225 reviews Good
Spacious and clean room with nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Free coffee throughout the day. The tram stop is just outside the hotel entrance. Free and fast wifi. Very good neighborhood.
Close enough to city center. 45 minutes to walk touristic places (little peeing boy) from the hotel. The nearest market Carrefour is just ~40m far away. Nearest metro station (Louise) is in 7 minutes walk distance. Also tram station is just 2 seconds away! Hotel has two elevators. No problem for disabled people. Hotel staff can speak English. No French obsession. All facilities are in perfect conditions. The hotel was only 1 year old. There is a microwave oven in the room. Also safe-box, a small fridge without any drinks. You can order your cooked meal (pizza, burger..etc) to your room directly. The lighting of room is perfect. There was no dark places. All room shining when you turn on lights. There is free self-service breakfast near the lobby area. Also hot-water and coffee facilities over there. Hotel guests can use them without any fee. The bathroom and toiletries are clean. Towels was new and clean. The daily maid service is nice. All of dirty towels replaced regularly. There was no problem on the hot water. Duvets, pillows and mattress are in good conditions. Quality of linens was perfect. There was no problem on the windows. Room was soundproof.
Located on the top of the city. You may have some difficulties to walk on the way back to the hotel from the city center. I recommended to use Louise metro station.
I visited Brussels over ten times. This hotel is the best one. Clean, cozy and calm to sleep. Particularly, public transportation situation is very good. The tram station is just in front of the entrance. Easy access to the center of the city.
staff very nice, clean and comfi, 24 hr coffee and drinks tram near
distance from centre
The location, the comfortable room and the fast wifi.
The breakfast was a bit poor and the coffee served was terrible.
The hotel was quite new unlike many hotels in Brussels.
Good rate price/quality. Excelent location, excelente team, confortable room
The hotel is located in the city center and just a walking distance to the main shopping area. Tram shelter just in front of the hotel. The receptionist staffs are very welcome and willing to help. Feel like homes.
Free drinks 24 hours...
Very clean and comfortable in the middle of the city, good Internet nice staff very helpful quiet no noises I can say we had a nice stay
Great area, safe, places to eat and great metro access. Good breakfast and great staff.
It is a little fair from the square, 15, 20 minute walk and it is not a direct route.
Location, staff, parking facility, clean rooms, buffet breakfast included.
The all day free coffee/tea/juice is something worth mentioning. Location is very good, room is very clean and spacious and the staff are very accomodating. And the best thing is, the price is very reasonable.
Staff at this Ibis were very friendly and helpful - I had come to Brussels to find an apartment for a more permanent stay and the concierge helped me find local estate agents, even adverts for rooms to rent nearby. Breakfast was excellent - everything was fresh, there was an impressive variety, considering this is a chain and you could have as much as you liked. Really set me up for my day ahead. Hot drinks any time of the day/night - from the lobby. Free 24hr internet access on a lobby PC (in case you don't have your own laptop, etc.). Was able to my leave my bags in a secure room after I had checked out as my flight was later that evening.
If you're visiting as a tourist, this hotel is a little way from the centre of town - you would need to use public transport to get there. That said, you do benefit from a quieter hotel at night. No tea-making facilities in the rooms - would have been a bit more convenient than using the hotel lobby machines.
Quality of the hotel
Even thought the hotel inform you that under 16 years old can stay for free, at check in they inform you that the room is small so you have to buy the option with extra bed for 30 euro.
- Staff very helpful and polite. One special mention to the receptionist Sophie. - In aug/2014 the hotel was absolutly new. - The bedroom is very confortable. Good bed. - The bathroom is big enough. - Clean hotel. - Excellent breakfest. - Good location. In front of a point to take the TRAM. - there is a market near the hotel (Carrefour express). - wi-fi is good, even in the bedroom.
- Bathroom has curtain. It doesn't ways avoid water to wet the floor.
The tram going around the city is right outside the hotel. Though it is also a short walk to the nearest metro stop. The breakfast had a good selection. I also liked the free coffee and juice all day. The rooms are a bit small and so is the hallway. But the size was ok enough for us, though maybe for bigger built people it would be quite cramped.
Good location and price for Brussels, especially like the ability to grab a coffee at any time day or night.....for free
Everything was normal. Room small but clean. We like coffee and tea service ar lobbi 24 hour.Microwave oven in the room.Hotel is cozy.it s all right for a short stay.
The bed was small.
cleanliness and efficiency plus a laid back atmosphere and some conveniences nearby. There was also an excellent sized safe and an elevator card system.
a bit sparse, needs a more sociable and warmer feel.
There were pleasant guest and employees. Nice little market across the street. A variety of restaurants nearby. Although there is a great deal of graffiti we felt safe walking around the hotel and saw lots of young professionals on the street during the week.
Although they say they have AC our room was very hot. They switched us once and got one that at least blew cool air but it did not cool the whole room. We ended up sleeping with the window open with no screens and lots of street noise. The second day we bought a fan for the room. If you are used to AC be prepared. Just to note only a handful of hotels in Brussels have AC anyway. So it the forecast is hot chose wisely or pack a fan.
Location, 10 min to center. Parking
Tram stop just in front, a bit noisy. No fridge in the room
really amazing . Rooms are very clean , staff and location is good , wifi is fast , everything is perfect .
Hot choclate was free :-)
