Martin’s Brugge is situated just behind the famous 13th-century Belfry and 170 metres from the Grote Markt. It benefits from a terrace and a cocktail bar, and all rooms have a flat-screen TV.
Score from 2009 reviews Very good
Location is excellent, rooms were clean and comfortable.
The hotel was in walking distance of all places of interest. Good breakfasts, clean rooms, comfortable beds.
Some staff rather aloof. Breakfast time often very busy if 'groups' in town! Wifi very slow.
The hotel was fantastic so close to th all the sites The food was excellent and the staff would bend over backwards to help you
Good location, near ammenities, eateries and quiet and peaceful environment
Booked a double-bed Room and TV should be wall - mounted. The TV was placed on the desk corner and it gets in the way when we open our windows.
Lack of storage
The hotel is close to the city center , parking lot right next to it. Also very close to the train station.
Like othe ibis hotels, the walls are paper thin. Wifi was slow but worked.
Clean and confy
breakfast selection was the best of all the ibis we stopped at during our trip
the public car park does not accept motorcycles for parking the room was a little on the small side if you have luggage
Availability of a computer
The location was great
The room was very small. The bath/ shower was difficult to get out of
Reasonably central location. Clean and comfortable
Bit impersonal Bland
located very close to most sight seeings, and shopes
the room is a bit small
rooms cleanliness comfort
on the nights we were there, bar staff were slow and dis interested
Room had very big comfortable bed, so slept soundly. Bathroom clean and tidy but toilet a bit squashed in conrner - difficult for anyone with longer legs. Easy parking in secure underground car park nest door.
There was a large party of guests in a seperate seating area, but we shared the breakfast buffet, which was a bit of a rugby scrum.
location, price, staff.
Room was a bit small but you get what you pay for so it's fair and expected.
The location of the hotel is very good. It is in the historical part of Brugge, near to the central. The room was clean and the reception operates in 24/7, thus we could arrive late night. The check-in was very easy, it took 2minutes tops. In the staff everyone speaks fluent English.
The room was cold and we could not turn on the heating. The sound insulation were poor, thus the infiltrating noises were disturbing. They asked 50 cents for a city map, even though I payed 260 for 2 nights. That's cheap..
Good location - 15 min walk from central square Reasonable money Not expensive parking just in the basement Local beer shop and supermarket across the road
Our room had a non - locked door to another room occupied by another family though nothing has happened
The location, only the location! Ah, and the bed mattress.
I've been in this hotel 9 years ago and twice before that. It seems that the only upgrade (apart from the mattress) that made to the property is the price of the room. It is far to expensive for what is offered. When younger, we used to stay at Ibis all over Europe. They used to be very good value for money. We still stay at more than 50 hotels each year in Europe. We find the Ibis very bad money-wise and otherwise. It's a pity they got the laurels and seem to have slept over them!
Nearby Car Park
good location close to the town centre. clean and basic room.
need clearer directions for parking facilities when booking as there are 2 car parks to choose from. in our car park you could not get a lift from level 2 so had to carry baggage up the stairwell.
Good value. Convenient on-site parking (underground)
Mattresses are slightly thin
A good location, room is small but we didn't care. Wifi is quick enough
Breakfast wasn't included, but we preferred to have a breakfast in a café nearby
Just what you want: clean, comfortable, central and very well priced. Recommended...
Good location, nice 10min walk to market centre. Located on a street with lots of choco shops , within city walls and water way. Very peaceful location
Room in need of a revamp, bit old fashion.
Very centrally located hotel, easy to find too, friendly staff and Supermarket Express Shop outside the hotel.
Wasn't really worth the price, could have gone to better hotel for over €100 a night without breakfast. We only had breakfast (€14 per person) one day and it was ok compared to prices out in the market. Food generally is very expensive in Bruges.
