Room, service etc. ara ok But the district... If you are planning to stay not just to spent one night before train or flight it's better to choose something closer to the centre. Especially if there is no boy in your company. We were really afraid to walk around in the evening. It's like arabian district, a lot of strange people, almost everyone were whistling about any girl, so disgusting! Note: the hotel is fine, just the location is bad if you are planning to come back in the evening

Perfect location, close to the metro station. Good restaurants near the hotel. They don't have free internet, even in the lobby.

It was right across the street from the train station which was convenient. I really did not like that we had to pay to temporarily store our luggage in lockers after check out. It's just another one of those indecent practices of corporate greed. Not to say the hotel was poor or unreasonably priced relative to other hotels, but I don't understand why one has to pay for luggage storage after the insane profits hotels make. Especially considering Brussels is a walking city and people are expected to leave their luggage somewhere. Also, the location was by far not the best part of Brussels. My wife and I were there for New Year's Eve, and we thought it was best to take a cab home since we had walked in the area earlier in the night. Lots of middle-aged men on the streets, and strangely only a handful of women.

The hotel was nice but I feel that the surrounding area is a bit dodgy for female guests to walk around by themselves at night. The hotel itself was good!

It was reasonably cheap and the location was excellent for the Eurostar. No toiletries and no tea/coffee making facilities wghich is normal for European hotels but which I find extremely annoying.

Free WiFi in public areas - would be better if it was available (free) in hotel rooms. Above average standard of room compared to the normal Ibis standard. Friendly and helpful staff. Just across the road from the Eurostar station for London/Paris. Bar staff not too friendly, possibly had a long day. Pretty tacky area of Brussels, but once inside you can forget it.

- Just near to the Gare du Midi, which was very practical for me? That is a big advantage; - Very confortable room. 1) Check-in is rather long, even if you have already booked the room by internet, it takes more than 5 minutes (7 or 8?) of tedious work by the Ibis employee. I arrived at 7:00pm, there was approx 8 or 10 persons before me for check-in and 3 Ibis employees to do the administrative work (they click in many menus and so on...). Finally this took me 15 or 20 minutes to check in: this is too long! 2) The wifi connection was rather slow, and you have to pay it (one hour costs 4,5euros as far as I remember). 3) The breakfast is said to be "giant", but it is not so giant, and it gives the feeling it is only made of basic industrial food.

Very conveniently located for Gare Du Midi (Eurostar, trains elsewhere in Belgium and Europe, Brussels Metro hub); very reasonably priced; very aesthetically pleasing and modern, especially for the price. Sheets were a bit like sandpaper. Shower was lukewarm on hottest setting and turned cold after about 5 min (on every occasion, not a one-off occurrence). Room had no "Please Do Not Disturb" sign. Result: while you may be trying to sleep or otherwise engaged and wish not to be disturbed, there is no way to convey this, and cleaning staff will be banging on your door every hour (this is not an exaggeration) trying to enter and clean the room. This goes against everything a hotel should be (at all price levels) and far outweighs the many positives of this hotel.

It is very close to Gare Du MIdi station so you can tarvel everywhere in very short period of time It is extremely expensive for its facilities! Ok, it is close to the train station but 140 euro per night for a small room withoot refrigerartor or a second chair? With a small window like a prison? Without mini bar? I have stayed in more many hotels that had all thiw mentioned above in better price.

Rude staff, charged city tax despite the fact we had already paid it and then had to get it refnded back later. There was an awful smell in the main room and bathroom, air conditioning would not turn off, noisy outside when windows were open, quality of bedlinen and towels was very poor.

Everything was ok. It's really well-localized! I spent three days there. And I could go to Bruges and come back in the same day. From Gare du Midi you can go wherever you want in Belgium. I recommend that! Futhermore, if you are flying by Ryanair, it's really nice if you can stay near the Midi Station. There was one day that the hotel forgot clean up the room.

The location is really practical, close to the Gare du Midi. There is also a really good supermarket near by that is open Sundays. The room was stuffy and the toilet seat was cracked.
