Staff were friendly
The rooms were unbearably Hot! The place looked dated and worn!
very nice and flexible manager at the reception; severall pull-out irons and ironing tables on every floor - a dream for busy travelers
appliances e.g. shower, air condition not in good shape
Location only. Friendly personnel at the reception.
The smell in our room was awful, so we need to open the windows. Insects were also all over our bathroom. We were just tired so we didnt argue anymore. No ramp in the lobby so you need to carry your luggage to the reception.
location was great food was acceptable breakfast vouchers given
got bad directions the first day to my conference and i was two hours late arriving, there are several UVB campuses, and there is a French/Flemish divide that seems to be an obstacle to getting proper directions, but they made it up to me when I explained what happened. On a good note I would stay there again.
Comfortable bed, very convenient for the station and good shower.
Non-smoking room stank of smoke and someone had stuck a napkin over the fire alarm, overhead lights didn't work, there was no kettle in the room and didn't feel that it was very good value for money.
So handy to the rail station and car hire places. Also a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of this lovely city. Good basic and no frills but convenient and clean.
I loved the room size as well as the bed. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast lady at the restaurant was rude and not nice. Not even a hello was said back to me. All she kept on asking for was the breakfast ticket. she doesn't or most likely is not willing to speak any English. Also, remember to ring your shower products with you, coz the same soap you get for your hands you're supposed to use for your body and hair.
very good location just opposite the Burssels Midi train station. Good room space; comfortable bed; sufficient light in the room; stable Wifi. A good cafe bar in the lobby with comfortable seats for business travelers.
Staff in the cafe bar is a bit cold.
Close to train station Comfort Cleanliness
Everything was the way we expected. Staff was polite and helpful. The hotel is very close to the central station, very convenient if you continue early morning with the train.
Location. Easy access to train
People hanging near the entrance of the hotel especially in yhe evening
Perfect location if you need to wait for the next train in the morning. Fast check in, room clean and in line with the picture. The day after I requested the invoice for my travel insurance and reply arrived almost immediately!Excellent also post service
The price is in line with the location
Good public transport location and free wifi. Silent rooms in internal yard side.
Most oriented for french talking people. No fridge and kettle. Pis smell in neighbourhood.
It is lucky that we stayed in a loft(top room). It is nice and comfortable.
No hair dryer and free hot water to be offered as we just arrived there in Winter. The breakfast is very expensive around 14.5 euro per person.
Fan noise makes me hard to sleep
Location and staff very friendly
room had not been cleaned
staff extremely polite
Good position if you have to travel by train, and for Charleroi shuttle too
Room too hot even with heater switched off
If you're arriving in Brussels by train, it's difficult to imagine a more convenient hotel. Walk out of the station - and there it is in front of you! What's more, a 20-minute walk will take you to the magnificent Grand Place/Grote Markt. Friendly staff, good, varied (though somewhat expensive) buffet breakfast.
The locality of the hotel was really good especially if you arrive from Charleroi in the night as all you need is to cross the Midi Station. The room was OK as well as the breakfast.
I was quite surprised that I had to pay for the locker to leave my baggage after checking out in the morning. Having had known this, I would rather took my baggage to the station and paid for a locker there as it would be more convenient than to move back to the hotel to pick it up.
Next to the rail station, so it was very convenient to go by train early. The room was large.
Not so many facilities in room, e.g: no complimentary water. A small bottle of drinking water was not so expensive but it helped customers satisfied. The surroundings of the hotel did not make us feel very safe. We did not see any doorman while there were always a noisy crowd in front of the entrance. And this area outside of hotel is not very clean with smell of urine (sorry to have to say that).
Rooms were very clean Staff was friendly and helpful
Breakfast costs are too high comparing to the quality of the breakfast Crowd needs to be managed in the welcoming hall and in front of the hotel Roomservice is a must in a hotel
Location near to Brussels Midi, decent bed, quiet room
Comfortable and spacious room
Too many strayers and people smoking at the hotel's entrance... Inconvenient to take train back to hotel from grand place... Beware of your own safety
