Good rooms and decent bar area with friendly staff. Located right next to Railway station, but only a few minutes walk to Mons centre (although it is uphill) Easy to drive to and the parking is secure (at a cost) Parking cost. If you spend 25 Euros in the restaurant you get free parking, but spend 80 Euros on a room plus a fair amount in the bar and you still have to pay 9 Euros a day!

Location near trains, buses and town centre. Resturant is also very good. WiFi is poor and did not get better despite telling the hotel staff. I suspect their equipment as my computer worked fine in another WiFi zone after I left.

One particular member of staff was very helpful. Told us best places to eat and drink and gave us good directions. Rest of the staff were not very amenable. Towels were not replaced from previous guest. Breakfast very poor especially at an extra 14 euros pppn.

Pas grand chose Decu Les chambres très très froide niveau deco... Quand nous arrivons aucun chauffage allume donc chambre glacée... La chambre santé encore le cannabis que d autre clients avaient sûrement fumé durant leur séjour... Je ne recommande pas l hôtel ibis a Mons très déçu

Le personnel est très aimable, les chambres sont très correctes et propres, le petit déjeuner continental est complet ... La gare est toute proche et il peut arriver que l'on entende des coups de sirène des locomotives même en pleine nuit ... Egalement un peu de circulation en contre allée même le soir ... le parking privé de l'hôtel à 9 euros est un peu cher ...

Bijna niets. De niet-rokers kamer was vergeven van de stank van rook en er kon niets aan gedaan worden. Badkamer was matig en het ontbijtbuffet was ook maar matig. “The hotel, location and staff were excellent. An ideal spot being only a 5 mins walk into the Grand Place. There was no restaurant in the hotel, however, there are many bars, restaurants etc in the main square. Parking in the hotel costs 10 euro, however I parked in a street outside the hotel which is free and in a quiet area. There is also a car park opposite the hotel entrance which charges from 9am to 5 pm Mon-Sat but its free to park on Sundays. Our room was large, warm and modern and would definitely stay at the Lido again. The breakfast was superb with a vast choice which included a selection of hot breakfast (eggs, bacon etc).
