The more less cheap hotel near the centre of Brugge. A good breakfast is offered.(Cheese, two variant of ham, eggs, various jams ets). The hotel is located in quet palce. At night - silence. But rooms is very small and simple. For example in my room there was no tv. But rooms is very small and simple. For example in my room there was no tv. We received a very warm welcome to the hotel and the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient, eager to give out advice, all spoke good English and could not have been better. Top marks for the staff! The hotel is positioned in a quiet side street just a few minutes walk from the town centre, and is itself a very attractive building. Buffet breakfast was good and served in a light and pleasant dining room. Nice friendly sort of place. Our room was the last one available as it was a last minute booking and we found it rather disappointing, being very small with the tiniest en suite I have ever seen, containing a very small shower (barely enough room to turn round) and a very small basin and toilet. The mirror was missing and was in fact leaning against the bedroom chair when we got there. The bathroom also seemed to suffer from poor ventilation leading to small areas of black mould on the tiling joints, and the whole room had a damp musty smell which I think the staff must also be aware of as someone had opened the bedroom window on a couple of occasions while we were out. The double bed was in fact 2 singles pushed together and despite there being a folding suitcase stand supplied, there was not actually enough room to use it! On the morning we left we both found ourselves covered in mosquito bites, which I understand is common in Brugge at night, there was supposed to be an electrical device to deter them but was missing from the room. I glimpsed into other rooms that were being cleaned and they all seemed to be larger with some being very nice indeed, so next time maybe I should book earlier to avoid being put in to what felt like a room kept for emergencies. I would be wary of recommending the hotel to others unless they could be guaranteed a better room than ours.

Enjoyed the breakfast. Comfortable beds and a large bathroom. Would have liked more room in our room. Wouldn't recommend the space for 4 people, as was our case. Too little space for travelers with big bags. Noisy but to be expected with summer travelers.

Warm welcome, spoke english, which made things easier. Family room was very good with a seperate but joined room for the kids. Beds comfy. Lots of room in the bathroom. Continental breakfast very nice. Breakfast was lovely but the restocking of items on the buffet was a little slow

Lovely building, great location, peaceful (except the Sunday Morning Church Bells!). Bed was great. Not value for money. Travelodge standard at Hilton prices. Wish we'd spent a bit more and gone for a 4 star hotel. Our room needed refrurbishing. Moldy sealant round the bath. If the bathrooms were refurbished then I'd recommend this hotel.

I liked the location and the building which is very old and has a very Flemish atmosphere and decoration. Excellent value for money. The wireless conection wasn't working properly.

Good location, reasonable price, and clean and tidy. Friendly staff. read a previous review about having to shower holding the shower head, the reason is that they are set low to the bath and are only for washing your hair while in the bath. Would prefer a proper shower but that's all.

49E for a double room was a very good price, and for this price we were only a ten minute walk or so to the centre of Bruges. The rooms and beds were not very comfortable. The breakfast buffet that came with our price did not have a great collection, only some juice, stale bread, salami and cheese and not much else. Nothing hot to eat. Although for the price we paid and to just stay there one night it was ok.

I needed a cheap hotel to stay overnight in Brugge while travelling across Netherlands and Belgium. The staff was very friendly, a guy called me to make sure I'll arrive and gave me valuable advise regarding spending time in Brugge. There were free parking and fairly good breakfast, the room was clean, although I had to switch on the heater to make it warmer.

Very well located near the centre of the city, a 10 euro taxi ride from the station. A fairly basic hotel that could better be described as a bed and breakfast, but at hotel prices. It reminded me of a down market Travelodge but with a poor breakfast and three times the price.

Brilliant location for us as we drove into the city and there was plenty of parking in the area - staff very helpful with this, were able to borrow a parking card from reception to prevent clamping. Within walking distance of Markt, very pretty walk. Staff very helpful, advised of where to go/eat etc. Nice room, clean, beautiful facade, very traditional. Room quite small... "Bijoux"! Otherwise, lovely. Breakfast not amazing, but adequate. Maybe a little far to walk for some people, but we nejoyed getting lost and wandering around the back streets.

Great - Staff, food, location, price, beer & service. Room was immaculately clean. A huge light shade in the bedroom, so huge that it was larger than the TV, blocked the whole screen - hilarious.
