Welcoming, service, facilities, comfort, breakfast, friendliness, helpfulness, location and kindness all absolutely perfect. The very best B&B anywhere. If you are thinking about it do it now, bookings are hard to get.

This is an amazing place to stay - I can't praise it highly enough. The great location; the warm, friendly welcome; the effortless style; the high quality finish of the room; the beautiful, historical building; the little "surprises" at breakfast; the personal touches everywhere. Annie and Pavel have thought of everything. Awesome.

Hard to fault anything... but if I was to be picky, the broadband connection was slow at times. It was the only thing we noticed. Everything else was perfect.

Everything, the owners, the location, the standard of Accomodation , fantastic breakfast. I could go on and on. Quite simply a wonderful place and the nicest owners you'll ever likely meet. Biggest problem is getting it booked because anyone who stays will want to go back. We certainly do!

    Absolutely nothing.

The list is too long! The house was clean, comfortable and central to Bruges. The hosts - Annie and Paul - were welcoming and engaging with nothing being too much trouble for them. And the breakfast kept you going the whole day.

    Can't think of anything...

We booked a room at Jacquemine after reading so many glowing reviews and I am glad to say that, if possible, the reality was even better than we could have imagined. The guesthouse has an art gallery in the main room, and as we entered we were fascinated by the paintings and the attention to details that had been put into absolutely everything. It is a spacious, beautiful room that is at the same time very impressive yet also warm and welcoming. We stayed in the garden-facing room, which is bright, airy and overlooks the garden and canal (though we were also shown the other room, which is larger and also lovely, and I must say that choosing one was not easy at all!). The room is immaculate and very tastefully decorated in white and light colours, with a wide and very comfortable bed, large windows and a nice sitting area with kettle, tv and magazines. The en-suite bathroom is beautiful, with a spacious walk-in shower and separate bathtub - everything spotless and in perfect condition. Breakfast was fantastic and very varied, and refreshingly not the usual buffet. There was a bit of everything: croissant, fresh bread of various types, preserves, honey, fresh fruit, nuts, soft creamy cheese with strawberry, homemade pancake as well as cheese and cold cuts, locally sourced eggs and some small chocolate treats - everything absolutely delicious and enough for us not to be able to finish it all! But for us what made it special above everything was the hospitality of Annie and Pavel, who really are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive, they made us feel welcome and at home straight away and it was almost as if we had been staying with friends. Bruges is a lovely town to visit, where everything is in easy reach, and Jacquemine is the ideal base to explore and enjoy it. The only problem was that we were quite unlucky with the weather, but this just gives us the perfect excuse to come back another time!

Nothing at all, top marks on absolutely everything.

The Jacquemine Luxury Guesthouse and Art Gallery is located in a quiet position close to the canal. The centre of town is a 5 minute easy walk away. The owners Annie & Pavel were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was one of the best my wife & I have had. The room was extremely comfortable, out of this world and large. The secure parking was at a location nearby. Very highly recommend, you wouldn't get better.

Jacquemine is indeed a luxury guesthouse, the house is a magnificent listed building with terrific history and has been refored beautifully by the owners. The room was very comfortable and spacious, and facilities were excellent. The breakfast is a feast of flavours with freshly cooked eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, toasted nuts and lots more. The hosts Annie and Pavel were very welcoming, gave great advice on Brugge, places to eat, to see and of course the best bars... and were always at hand for any needs. We felt very welcome to their home and guesthouse.. Really and truly if you come to Brugge you have to stay here, it will make your holiday. Put simply it is the perfect place to stay and we look forward to our return.

    nothing at all..

Annie was very helpful with recommendations for dining as well as helping us book a local cycling tour. There are only two guests rooms which makes it feel very private. The breakfast was amazing. This was by far our favorite place we stayed in Belgium.

There was so much to like about Jacquemine. We were made to feel so welcome by Annie and Pavel. Our room was a haven of comfort during our stay. The breakfast was delicious and we wanted for nothing. The central location of the house was very convenient, but the hospitality exceeded all expectations.

We fell in love with the house - right out of the pages of a magazine (it was featured in a magazine). Breakfast was first class and taking it in the gallery felt very special. Annie was extraordinarily hospitable and attentive to every detail. Make sure you follow her restaurant recommendations. We never rate anywhere a "10", but this was 10 plus!

Annie and Pavel are the most outstanding hosts. The guesthouse is situated in the perfect location (right in the old town). The rooms are amazing - beautifully decorated. Breakfast is out of this world.

Everyone about Jacquemine was perfect from the comfortable bedrooms with amazing views to the breakfast which had everything. We arrived in Bruges after a fairly tough day travelling but the guesthouse was the best antidote. Annie made us feel at home at we wanted for nothing while we were there.

Lovely place!! Quiet, but only a block away from the heart of Bruges. The room was spacious and beautiful, with an AMAZING bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful ('People should relax and enjoy breakfast' according to the hosts) and the setting in the gallery was perfect. Would certainly stay only here if I went back to Bruges.
