Beautiful hotel. Perfect location. Lovely breakfast.
Close to everything. Friendly, Clean
Everything. The hotel was a beautiful clean hotel, in a perfect central location. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. The room was lovely, and very clean. Although only a basic room it was superb. Would definitely return.
Roof structure beams and many signs of the age of the building, nice furniture and textiles. The breakfast served in a nice atmosphere.
...less elevator music in the breakfast room would be appreciated...
Staff couldn't be more friendlier and helpful, rooms were spacious, breakfast was varied
The reception staff are great I can't really find a thing to complain about. So I wont All in all very happy indeed would recommend
Sometimes the wifi is not great in the outside rooms (really not a problem!)
Great staff. Ambience and outstanding breakfast
Very pretty hotel, rooms were big a specious & staff friendly.
Room was too cold, bathroom could do with an update
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Close to everything. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was fantastic!
Shower needs bit more cleananing and draining but not bad any way
I loved it being an old, elegant mansion -- perfect for Bruges. Location couldn't be better -- convenient to everything yet on a quiet street.
Elevator had issues.
Charming ambience, good breakfast choice, comfy bar with interesting local beers. Spacious Duplex family room. Good location, not far from centre but quiet area close to car park.
No lift. Lift out of action for length of three night stay. Staff helped carry luggage up four steep flights but could not carry me. I have angina and asthma. No longer show English language TV channels as local cable company axed them from analogue and they won't pay for digital.
We had two of the courtyard rooms (medieval and stable themed) which where lovely, great sized bathrooms and downstairs, fantastic decoration.
In the bathroom there was some mould and throughout the room the painting was bubbling; small things but for an expensive room around £200 per night I expected more...
nice hotel with friendly staff
breakfast wasn't too good
Breakfast was fantastic
Stairs to 'family duplex' very steep, not for the infirm or very young. Lighting not great. Only single gentlemans wardrobe with 4 hangers (ie half size wardrobe) not suitable for family of 4. Radiators did not work in room.
The location is excellent and the hotel has a lot of character. We stayed in the apartment on the top floor which had ample space. The breakfast was excellent as was the bar service. Hotel staff very helpful in suggesting good local restaurants.
The lift wasn't working and this meant we had two floors to climb with our bags. Initially the apartment was on the cool side, then the heater stopped working altogether and it was freezing. An alternative was supplied but the heating began during the night and it was like an oven by the morning. Not really a problem, just slightly uncomfortable.
Brilliant historical building. Great apartment for our family.
The lift wasn't working.
We had a nightmare encounter in paying for this accommodation. I would like someone from Booking.com to contact me.
Most charming historical hotel w. many original details Excellent central location Comfortable beds and room facilities Very friendly and helpful staff
Slightly overpriced for facilities offered compared to other Belgium and Dutch regional hotels - but then everything in Bruges is expensive!
Location was wonderful Breakfast was very good Very clean Fireplaces Firm mattress
A little worn Stairs in suite were difficult to manage -- I would avoid this room Chairs in suite were uncomfortable
Location, interior, mood
Drove to Bruge from London, very easy trip and despite being right in the centre of the city the hotel is very easy to find. The hotel booked our parking and the car park is just around the corner. The staff are very helpful and made great suggestions for places to eat great food, delicious chocolate and drink brilliant beer. The building is beautiful and very well restored. Breakfast was fresh and varied.
We could not find a bad thing to say about our stay. We could say something about the price but it is reflective of the value.
The location is great, it's in 4 minutes from the center. Interior is really wonderful.
Internet is reachable near the window but not from your bed.
A wonderful, helpful place ensuring client satisfaction is their first priority. They even opened the kitchen very early on the morning of our 6am train. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was very good. The room was clean and quite spacious. Location from centre of Bruges was just right.
