Location, interior, mood
Drove to Bruge from London, very easy trip and despite being right in the centre of the city the hotel is very easy to find. The hotel booked our parking and the car park is just around the corner. The staff are very helpful and made great suggestions for places to eat great food, delicious chocolate and drink brilliant beer. The building is beautiful and very well restored. Breakfast was fresh and varied.
We could not find a bad thing to say about our stay. We could say something about the price but it is reflective of the value.
The location is great, it's in 4 minutes from the center. Interior is really wonderful.
Internet is reachable near the window but not from your bed.
A wonderful, helpful place ensuring client satisfaction is their first priority. They even opened the kitchen very early on the morning of our 6am train. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was very good. The room was clean and quite spacious. Location from centre of Bruges was just right.
Nothing comes to mind
The whole atmosphere--plus the 'end of day' drinks in the cosy bar with a fire.
The rooms were stunning.
Great location with underground parking nearby Although classed as a 4star hotel and nice it was a 3star boarding house The Staff were excellent
Rooms are very expensive for what you get but its the price you pay for being in the city I wouldn't recommend the Duplex rooms.ignore the photos, they are small with extremely steep stairs to the upper floor
Our stay at Jan Brito was excellent. The people were very helpful and friendly. The Hotel itself was Great, the Breakfast was very extensive and really good food. I would highly recommend this Hotel.
The only one thing is that we were just at the back of the Hotel. The room was really good, but the lift to the second floor was a bit temperamental. If you didn't keep your finger on the button until the floor lined up exactly the lift jammed.
A very nice traditional hotel in a lovely old building. Provided everything we needed to a good standard. Close to the historic centre with very convenient underground parking close by.
Elegant and restful. Unique, tasteful and imaginative decor. Good service. Lovely breakfast. Delightful suite. Will definitely re-visit. Superb location for the delights of Bruges. Helpful staff. The whole experience was enchanting.
The staff. The bar in Jan Brito The location. The wifi. The Christmas decorations
The Luke warm breakfast The limited choice of "hot" food (There was a good choice of cold food)
Staff, breakfast, little bar and the courtyard garden. The hotel is in a stunning old building, and great location.
Family room had very steep stairs andlow beam that I kept bumping my head on!
Lovely hotel, spacious rooms, free wifi, amazing staff and cosy bar with a fire place
hotel room was bit dated
The 'shabby chic' (meant positively) atmosphere made you feel that you were staying with an old rich aristocratic aunt - which is essentially what the hotel was some years back. Wonderfully quiet, stylish garden (even in November)
Some of the light fittings in the public and private areas were tasteless and cheap and quite out of keeping with what was otherwise successful.
The location is convenient to the old sites but remote enough to be peaceful and quiet. The central garden is pretty.
The hotel facilities are well past their prime. A major refresh is needed.
A new hotel in an old atmosphere! Really polite and helpfull staff, nice and big room, big bathroom, clean, comfortable bed, excellent wifi, minibar. Good breakfast included in the price. Very near the centre ande and no noise at the same time.
a little bit expensive.
Very well equipped room, has a great bathroom, TV, and just about anything you may need including Wi-Fi, Heating / AirCon, a desk and a safe! Great location, just 3 minutes walk to the heart of town and 15 minutes from the main train station. Staff were very friendly and informative. Breakfast was fabulous. Good value for money.
The room is big enough for 1 person, however it is a "single" bed, so beware if you're a big guy or girl. I noticed a couple of permanent stains and some hairs on the bedding before going to bed, which did put me off at first but was too tired to complain or do anything about it - besides brushing the hairs off. The lift to the room is a bit clunky but it does work.
Great location and very close to Koningin Astridpark where our small dog could walk. Parking was close and safe too. Resonably priced at 8.7euro for 24hrs. The room we had was large and very comfortable, we did upgrade. Breakfast was ok with usual selection of meats, cereals and pastries. Along with Bacon, sausage, beans, scrambled and boiled eggs. Can't comment on the bar and other areas of the hotel as our dog was not allowed in public areas so we didn't use them. The hotel does have lovely enclosed gardens within in the hotel, which is great to let your dog have a sniff. The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard whilst remaining charming. Though a bit pricey, location, size and comfort of the room would mean we would probably stay there again.
I do not understand why as responsible dog owners we are surcharged 20 euro per day(80 euro for our stay) to take our dog and for this we get nothing . No bed, bowls, treats, nothing and not able to use any area other bedroom and garden. It is a general frustration with hotels not just this. However, it is something we would take into consideration before booking again
Breakfast average bathroom you need to be hooding to get in the bath. Attic room I like rustic charm beams etc but not instead of efficiency and healt and safety. Not 4 star
Location, size of rooms and antiques created a nice ambience to the rooms
Lovely open fire in bar, friendly, helpful staff. Tasty breakfast. Excellent location.
Very helpful staff and reasonable breakfast selection. Umbrellas available for guest use
No covered link to rear block access, albeit a short walk.
The location was great, the room & bathroom were very spacious.
Didn't like having to carry our cases up and down a steep flight of stairs without any access to a lift. The room was very poorly lit.
