Great welcome and very helpful finding a place to eat as it was New Year's Eve . Room very nice and quiet. Breakfast was nice and well presented.
Had to sit in chair in the lobby to get good wi if connection as our room was at the back and could not pick it up.
Second trip to Brugges and I would not stay anywhere else. Beautiful continental breakfast and attentive staff.
Loved the location and the guy that met us on arrival was really helpful in introducing city highlights to us. Breakfast was good with lots of room between tables (too often too many cramped in space).
Bar only open for limited period.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location aside from noisy streets, but still close to everything. Breakfast is good. Brugge itself is a very nice place, expecially at winter holidays.
We were in the end of December and it was quite cold in the bathroom that did not have heating at all.
Excellent location, 5 mins walk from the main square, room was clean and comfy, breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, boiled eggs and the usual continental breakfast fare, would definitely stay again, brilliant value for money.
Staff were lovely and shared lots of local information. Hotel only 5 minutes from the main square so quiet but not out if the way.
Very close to the city center market. Young gay couple. Found the hotel warm, friendly, and inviting. Superb staff and host/owner. Gave great advice on sights to see, places to go, and restaurants to visit. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Fresh fruit, coffee, meats, breads, some pastries, fresh OJ. Delightful. Room (#10) was quite, clean, and cozy.
The only thing I would change would be to make the rooms a little more vibrant and romantic, but I can't complain. We didn't take one of the bigger, more expensive rooms. So that is what you get.
Personal touch and very friendly lady welcoming us.
very quiet at night comfortable clean rooms very friendly, helpful staff excellent continental breakfast - an amazing selection excellent free wifi
absolutely greta breakfast! Nice locaiotn as well, walking distance to everything in the city. The hotel only has a few rooms, which makes it very intimate and designed to welcome couples who would like to make have a romantic weekend.
The room was not very big and there was no elevator.
from the moment we walked in we were welcomed by the owners who were extremely friendly and their guidance and suggestions on what to do, where to go and the nicest places to eat helped us enjoy the trip more, the room was a good size with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed and a lovely view of the tower. we both enjoyed the breakfast which was obviously fresh and was a nice variety we would definitely stay again if we were ever in brugge in the future.
there was nothing in the hotel I could say I didn't like, the only thing in the trip I didn't like was the fact the band stand in koningin astridpark was covered for maintenance (not the hotels fault)
no mirror in room, sorted v quickly
Good position, lovely people, €85 reasonable for the position other rooms looked better than ours at top. Great cosy cellar bar lovely breakfast and again thanks to Hans & Peggy for a great welcome, if we return to Bruges we would stay here
No parking but that's no surprise in centre of medieval city
Great location, close to the market square, friendly staff, easy to find. I would recommend this family run hotel.
Breakfast included and a great location
Poor wifi reception in room 2
Managed by the owner who is a delight. The hotel retains some of its historical features and that made it somewhat special. It is close to the central square and handy for shopping and sites - including the Frite Museum!!
City centre location Friendly staff Relaxed atmosphere Great breakfast
Location, attentiveness of staff, great breakfast. Help with bags was really great.
Stairs to room, steep on third floor
The beauty of Bruges was very easy to experience as this hotel is just a short walk from the town center. The hotel is very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The warmth and helpfulness of the hotel owners was the best part! They were more than willing to suggest local highlights and recommend ways we could maximize out visit.
Very convenient location, Excellent breakfast, Very helpful staff
Hans was a great host. Very friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with hospitality.
A hotel with so much character. Built in 1300 with wooden beams but also providing excellent modern facilities. A lovely breakfast with staff who couldn't do enough for you, outstanding hotel '
Location, breakfast, breakfast room, good Wi-Fi.
No help on leaving with our luggage even though on 3rd floor and no lift.
Facilities - no safe to begin with, no remote, nowhere to put your stuff in the shower, holes in sheet/pillow case Welcome - it took ages to check in and other customers behind us were dealt with first. It's not a huge deal, but the reception could have been more attentive and said "apologies while I deal with so and so, I'll be with you in a minute". Just wasn't a great first impression.
