Kempinski Hotel Dukes Palace

The hotel was in an ideal position. The thing we didn't like was it took u7ntil around 5.30PM to make up our room and then all the bins where not cleared.

Spacious room, nice lounge and bar, great breakfast. Spa area also very nice. The hotel was also good with adapting the room for the baby.

House keeping was very slow - and confused with the requests. The concierge was also unable to find us a taxi driver who knew the Eurostar train station in Brussels, so we paid 200 euros to end up in the wrong station...

The height of luxury in what was once the Dukes' Palace. Staff were warm, friendly, professional and very welcoming. The hotel is really well located in the centre of historical Brugges so walking or cycling everywhere is easy. Very relaxing and personal - staff all seem to know who you are and are keen to be as helpful as possible.

The hotel has parking facilities underground but at 30 Euros for 24 hours, it was too expensive! We parked in a local carpark for half that amount, although be warned, the spaces are hard to find and my husband drove around for 45 minutes before finding one!

An "old world" style luxury hotel with charming ambiance. Did not use restaurant since local options overwhelming.

I liked the whole package in particular the garden terrace and Spa area. A very good quality hotel with a 'boutique" feel to it

I liked the friendly Helpfull Staff. the heated floor in bathroom was a nice touch, The swimming pool and gym were bright and clean altough a bit small. The food was excellent and the restaraunt Manuscript had some good value Set Dinner offers each night.

they do an expensive Buffet breakfast of 30 Euro which I did not get. you would want to eat quite alot in order to get value for money. The choice of Beers was Suprisingly restricted for a city with so many top Quality local beers.

Location is excellent. Beautiful facilities.

Service was not up to the hotel's billing as a luxury 4 star property. Took over a day and multiple calls to get an iron/ironing board. The wifi did not work properly and the cooling could not be controlled even by hotel staff. Our room was not available until after 4pm-- we checked in at 11 am. Lastly, the tv remote did not work and would repeatedly shut the unit off or change channels on it's own while not allowing the user to control the unit. The worse offense, however, is that to none of these small individual problems, nor the combined whole, was the staff overly concerned about providing a remedy or even an apology.

The staff were excellent, we had stayed previously in December and they even recognized us!!! Also the gesture of a teddy bear for my daughter was wonderful.

This is truely a five star hotel. Everyone wants to make your stay perfect. Room was extremely comfortable. Bath had a separate shower and a heated floor. We were gone for 21 nights and this was the very best of our trip.

The hotel is well located and the spa very good. The breakfast was just awesome. I do recommand this place for a week end.

The swimming pool was slightly too cold...

Even that I payed direct on check out,they still blocked my money on the card,wich is not nice?!!!!!

The hotel was very nice, very friendly personnel and the room was fantastic. The restaurant is very good with good service.

I found that the breakfast was quite expensive, it was 30 Euro per person. The quality was good but still for a buffet it was expensive.
