Absolutely worth to stay here, at least once in a life time. Great location; friendly, cheerful and professional staff; cozy and clean hotel (public area and rooms); delicious dinner at bar; full range of facilities in hotel (e.g. swimming pool, spa salon, gym) and in room (e.g. own brand cleansing and body lotions, pillows and bed sheets in 5 or 6 materials can be selected if you don't like cotton pillows, etc.). Before we check out the hotel, we asked the reception if we could buy some breads from their kitchen as they were too tasty. The staff was happy to help us and the chef baked us those little breads (tailor-made as the breads should be baked only for dinner). A special remark is that the breads are nicely packed in a paper box with a "Kempinski" ribbon, making the breads as presentable as gift. This positive impression encourages me to explore the Kempinski hotels chain for my next destination. Nothing~We didn't order any breakfast (we always wake up very late in holidays), so we can't comment on the price and quality.

First impressions were amazing and I continued to be impressed throughout the duration of my stay. Staff were professional and very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean. I enjoyed the gym and spa facilities which were first class. Overall - excellent value for money.

Historic location. Great bed. Temperature controls deficient. In-floor heating in bathroom were un-controlable and over powered a weak A/C system. Breakfast for two (nothing special) for 65 eu ($100 us) was overpriced.

A very smart hotel. Luxurious without being pretentious, they have the balance just right. Very attentive staff, but not intrusive. The location is amazing - right in the heart of the old town, a short walk from the main square.

Wonderful large soft bed, large tasteful room and bathroom (not fussy), pleasant and helpful staff, great location only a short walk from everthing in Bruges. The water in the shower changes from hot to cold and back again without changing the tap

Excellent hotel for a romantic stay. The ambience takes you to the atmosphere of a luxury medieval castle. Tried to book a massage for the next day and it was fully booked. By the price they charge, it should have more people working on the Spa.

The hotel was luxurious with a friendly atmospher. It was conveniently situated to the centre of Bruges. We arrived in the evening and the first sight of Kemplinski illuminated with outside lights was breath- taking. The service on arrival was efficient and courteous and this remained so throughout the stay. We hope to stay at the hotel again next year.

Easy access to the city. The fire in the Fireplace Room was hardly ever lit even though it was the week before Christmas! The Fireplace Room looked much better when the fire was lit (once) in our 4 day visit. One tiny stale/old sandwich and a plate of cakes for the two us of on our first afternoon/early evening at the hotel. We then decdied not to book the restaurant.

The location is perfect, the room was absolutely fantastic, very comfortable and clean, and quiet. Excellent service. We had a wonderful time, and will definitely stay at Kempinski again. The parking is pricey (30 euro per day), but you can park in one of the public underground parking lots for 8,40 euro per day (we used 't Zand, a few blocks away).

Great location, spacious room, heated floor in the bathroom Terribly soft bed, kept me awake whole night. Stain on the mattress, wobbly shower - not really 5 star quality. And the staff - not very nice and very slow, took them 20 minutes to get us a coffee.

Fair price and easy to get to ammenities. One member of staff was arrogant and rude to both our travalling colleagues and to me.Its a shame as all others were most helpfull. Bathroom was in need of proper clean, door seals to shower hanging off and leaking to bathroom floor. Room was very hot and air conditioning noisy as if fan was catching on cowling. Cols water ran very slowly.

It is a great 5* hotel in the heart of old Bruge. The bonus on top is that it has car parking-rare in Bruge-and although expensive 30 Euros a day its well worth it

Character building with good public spaces and very well appointed and comfortable bedrooms. When we reserved our room we booked for dinner on the Monday night ...but it seems the restaurant is actually closed on Mondays despite all the literature saying it is open daily as per Kempinski's standards. The hotel did try to send an email to advise that the resto was closed but omitted one character from the e-address so it never arrived (and probably would have bounced back to them so they should have known). We ended up in the bar (excruciatingly slow service) with a hamburger rather than a 5 star menu - very disappointing. Such a shame - if we had known in advance we could have reworked our arrangements and gone out that night with dinner in the hotel on the second night but it all got too late.

Amazing room, great location WiFi is an expensive extra for such a high class hotel, seems a little like profiteering when starbucks will give it away with a coffee! Were given a lame line about it being hotel policy. Hotel pool was very cold, this wasn't remedied even after complaining. Staff were not great, a little uninterested and tended to avoid eye contact etc if you had a problem

Fabulous! This is a truly wonderful hotel; elegant and sumptious, yet cosy and relaxed. Staff in grand hotels can be stuffy and stiff; not so here, all the staff were wonderful, still fresh and eager to provide really good and friendly service. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and the hotel management and staff were incredibly generous and kind, making our weekend truly special and we very much appreciated it. The hotel location is excellent and very central, yet its own courtyard and large garden ensure that peace and quiet are assured. It is the place to stay in Bruges, no doubt.
