Paint in bottom of the bath, dirty shower curtain.
I Liked a lot - helpful staff, great breakfast, great location
Bed too soft,
Good location and excellent wi-fi
The hotel is poorly designed, shabby and in desperate need of refurbishment. It was a lot of money to pay for a hotel in such a state. The staff did their best but really this hotel has no character, a messy looking reception, dark shabby gloomy corridors and rooms which were tired 20 years ago.
Good hotel and location
Parking in hotels car park difficult
Great location, good price, friendly staff and great breakfast
The hotel has a great location, with a big room and kitchen included.
Just pricey area.
Room was very clean and nice enough. Breakfast was excellent!
Nothing of significance. Will return next visit to Brugge.
I liked the location and helpfulness of the staff.
No real dislikes but the facility need some upgrading. Eg a toilet in the bathroom and a hand basin in the current toilet of the apartment.
Great location just of the main square. Lovely to wake up listening to the Belfry Bells. Good for bike hire, right outside hotel. Good value for money Nice breakfast area, plenty of choice of food Quirky hotel with need of an update, but adequate for our needs
Got what we paid for. Basic room, small bathroom with stained tiles on the floor near the toilet. Over bath shower was ok, but shower curtain got in the way, fighting with it. No ventilation in the bathroom. We booked a double room but got two single beds pushed together, creating a gap. Walls are very thin, heard conversations from next room quite clearly Breakfast was adequate. One toaster, no croissants, unhealthy cereals, but plenty of choice
It is ok, clean, perfect location, breakfast ok, quiet, animal friendly, extraordinary town!
Bit too expensive for what it offers but I guess you pay for location
They never said that the wifi is possible only from reception and at 3.00 on the afternoon, our room was not ready for us.
The staff were very nice and helpful. Although the room sizes are small the location more than makes up for it. The ability to rent bikes from them made it easy and exciting to explore
The small rooms and the bathroom lacked ventilation
The fact that the hotel was seconds away from the main square and also that we had a kitchen dining area in our room with a fridge/microwave/table etc. Sort of a cross between a hotel and self-catering which was great when we wanted to prepare and eat the odd meal, without the expense of restaurants. Overall a very good stay.
Room (s) could have been a bit smarter/ more modern, especially the bathroom, but it was comfortable and roomy enough and had two TV's in it. For what we paid, more than adequate.
The location was excellent and the breakfast was good.
The standard of cleanliness! There was a stained duvet in the cupboard, The fittings in the bathroom were old and rusty. The glass shelf was broken with dangerous sharp edges. The walls in the room were stained.
Kind and cosy athmosphere Good breakfast, very central in the historic town.
Noise from the nearby bar during nighttime
Very good location and very good breakfast , but only that . Waited long for check-in , it was after 5:00 p.m. Not so clean , smelled too much and the rooms in the additional building are not ventilated .
This was just steps away from the city center and walking distance to everything. Short bus trip from the train station. This hotel has a nice character- old but up to date. Big room and very clean. Good breakfast.
Was there AC? We turned on maybe the fan but couldn't keep the windows open due to mosquitoes. So it was a little warm but we were here in August.
Great location! Staff was wonderful.
It was a bit warm and there was a bar right downstairs. It is in right off the square, so that is to be expected. Overall, not bad though.
Excellent location adjacent to the Markt Square plus on-site parking (although the garage is very tight, poorly lit and has a dirt floor).
The room we had in the "annex" is a converted retail shop. The bathroom appeared to have been created out of what was once probably a storage cupboard. The room was dimly lit, cramped, poorly ventilated and the furnishings and fixtures badly in need of replacement or refurbishment. There was also a lot of noise from patrons at the adjoining pub and from hotel staff early in the morning. Do yourself a favour and avoid the Hotel Koffieboontje.
Great location very central. Helpful staff.
Breakfast had great choice and plenty to eat. Nice breakfast room.
The noise at night until after 2am. Then noise started early when cleaning started on the streets again.
Stayed here in early July and drove from the UK. I can not complain really for the price paid and being so central - for a nights stay you can not go wrong.
Hotel could be cleaner.
