In the cultural heart of Bruges, near the Grote Markt, you'll find hotel in a calm, traffic free street. Set in a contemporary architectural structure, you will stay in the middle of the historical centre of the city.

The terrace provides you with a place to relax, alternatively you can hire a bike so you can discover this beautiful ancient city.

In the morning, you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet that is adapted to the wishes of every guest; national and international. Our guests also receive a reduction card for different Bruges museums and boat trips, as well as discount in the hotel's own chocolate and souvenir store.

Our gastronomic restaurant De Witte Raaf offers you a gastronomical menu with creative dishes. For a wide choice of more than 50 Belgian beers, you have to visit the brasserie, Het Stijdershuis

The rooms, each with toilet, bathroom, telephone and colour television guarantee you a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Our tearoom-brasserie Het Strijdershuis and our gastonomic restaurant DE WITTE RAAF offer you tasteful and pleasant surroundings allowing to relax to the maximum.

Appropriate rooms are available for conferences or banquetes.
The hotel has an annex building who doesn’t dispose an elevator
Further the guests enjoy the same facilities of the hotel.
We offer the guests of this building a free bicycle during the journey.

In our gastronomic Restaurant “DE WITTE RAAF” you enjoy a gastronomic kitchen with fresh products, in a cosy interior with a nice relaxing atmosphere. Both, our A la Carte dishes and changing market menus will give you the opportunity to taste the finest kitchen.

• Brasserie Het Strijdershuis

You are welcome from 10 am till midnight in our Brasserie, for snacks, salads, pastas or a variety of tasty dishes. We offer you 50 different beers and a large choice of French and South African wines in all price categories. You are welcome as well to enjoy a pancake, ice cream or to have a drink, in a medieval environment, the oldest part dates from the 12th century. From the terrace you can enjoy a splendid view on the Belfry.

Please note that for a reservation on December 31, a special San Sylvester dinner is obliged an extra costs apply. These costs will not be calculated in the price of your reservation.

The 35 rooms we have to your disposition have different types and styles to accommodate you to the best of your wishes. Each room is equipped with modern facilities; these facilities will guarantee a memorable holiday in Bruges, depending on your budget and wishes we can offer:

Small Standard room: These small cosy rooms offer all facilities for 2 persons, with double bed or twin bed as you choose.

Standard room: A more spacious room than the little standard room with all facilities for 2 persons, also here you can choose between a double or twin bedded room.

Superior room: People who are looking for that little bit of extra and who like to travel in style. These rooms are located in the new building and have a very nice look. The bathroom is very trendy with its own personality.

Junior Suite: very nice for young couples with children or for guests who like that little extra.

Junior Suite Superior: For a luxury and romantic holiday you choose for our exclusive Junior Suite Deluxe. With its typical roof, luxury accommodated bathroom and marvellous view on the Belfry Tower from your bed; it will be an exclusive stay for romantic souls.

Studio: Suitable for guests who wants to enjoy their freedom while staying in our hotel. A fully accommodated kitchen is provided, but you can still enjoy the full hotel service, you can also enjoy our breakfast buffet if wanted (supplement).

Apartments: spacious living room, fully equipped open kitchen, a cosy sitting-area and a separate bedroom offer you all comfort with the service of a hotel. You are also welcome in our breakfast buffet room. If you decide quickly we can offer you an apartment with terrace.

If you plan to arrive after 18:00, please contact the hotel and guarantee your reservation with your credit card or with a prepayment. If you want to cancel your booking, you have to cancel via the internet at this website.

During the week, parking costs are EUR 15 (EUR 5 less than in the weekends, as mentioned above).

The hotel is in an excellent location - right next to the main square, however, located in such a way that you are not disturbed by any noise. The room was a really good size, with a mini kitchen which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was fantastic, although could only seem to get an elevator down to the breakfast room - would have preferred stairs!

Could not find hotel parking - however, parking in Zilberpand (?) multi storey carpark for 2 nights was cheaper than the advertised parking anyhow. Hotel could do with some upgrading of Decor and carpets - very rippled and worn in places.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly.

There was an awful smell of drains in our bedroom, a pity as the room itself was comfortable.

Helpful staff, good food and plenty of it, quaint, good location (next to Markt)

Parking was a bit tight but hey, it was fun!

Very central location, friendly staff, large room. We were offered free bikes for staying in the annex, but on arriving we were given a large room (with kitchen facilities) in the main hotel, and they still gave us the free bikes.

The carpet in our room had seen better days, and the toilet threatened to flood on every flush.

Sound insulation between rooms was a bit thin. Dog in the next room kept us awake with its constant barking....

Only the location

Had to pay in full on arrival. The room was appalling, very shabby and in need of total refurbishment. Eventually we were moved to one of the apartments which was reasonable. During the night we were both bitten severely by insects (mosquitoes,fleas? - who knows what). Breakfast was limited and the coffee was the worst we had ever tasted anywhere in the world. Garage was also appalling .

Proximity to attractions and shops and restaurants

Room wasn't ready until nearly 4.00pm on day of check-in. Although they had my credit card number they wanted payment in full at check-in. Explained that I might be paying in cash depending on how many Euros I had left at the end of my stay and they only agreed to this after a lot of argument. I travel a lot and this is the first time I have been asked to pay in advance when checking in.
