It was simply perfect! The perfect in between of an hotel, an apartment and a B&B. The owners are just so nice and gentle. The location is amazing and the design very nice. I recommend this place to anyone going in Antwerpen for a holiday, a business travel or even a honey moon :). It's 5 minutes walk from the University. Thanks again Sarah and Perry!

The owners were wonderful. Very accommodating and nice. The interior of the room is sleek, clean and well planned out with a lot of space and a view of the river. Location is excellent--less than a 5-minute walk to the medieval quarter. The bathroom was spacious and modern. Highly recommended!

The room is spacious, exceptionally clean, full of light and very well thought out. The design is modern, minimalistic. Location is good, within walking distance from most attractions, yet in a quiet street. Owners are very nice and friendly. Breakfast is left in a basket next to the door each morning and consists of fresh bread, some meat and cheese, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruits and pastry. Room is equipped with a coffee machine (for ground coffee) and a kettle (with a wide selection of teas, which are replenished daily). Bathroom is roomy and includes a rain-shower. Highly recommended!

Sarah and Perry - two of the nicest people we ever met - own this beautiful B&B. The hotel's architecture and interior are superb, the view from the rooms to the river is really nice. The breakfast is extraordinary! You will find it in the morning in front of your door, at the time you want it to be there. The Kool Kaai is one of the most beautiful places to stay in Antwerp. Highly recommended!

Location of this apartment is perfect, very centrally located, 5 minutes walk from Grote Markt. We stayed there for a weekend and enjoyed hospitality of Sarah and Perry (owners of the apartment). You get absolutely everything you need – spacious and clean studio, rain shower, bathroom facilities, nice breakfast in a room and much more. We had a great time in Antwerp and would definitely recommend Kool Kaai to stay for a weekend or longer.

Kool Kaai offers very beautiful facilities in an excellent location. Welcoming was very friendly, breakfast was just what was needed, no over the top buffet. Plenty of room in the large studio, view on the Schelde, very calm. The bathroom was fine with a great rain shower, althoug for a longer stay I would have prefered having a bath.

Besides the fact that the owners are extremely accommodating and super friendly they have created an absolute gem of a b&b! We stayed in the duplex, which is actually a maisonette type of set up, you walk up to your own private terrace with a fantastic view over the river, old houses of the neighborhood and the cathedral. The design of the room is beautiful, clear and simplistic yet warm and very comfortable. Every detail is so well thought through starting from the "Savon de Marseille Verveine" hand wash to the cutest little butter dish that comes with your breakfast basket. Which btw easily beats most of the big hotels' breakfast buffets, simply delicious and fresh. I would recommend this location to anybody who wants to spend some time in Antwerp, it's central and great value for money. After a busy day you can come ‘home’ and sink into the calm atmosphere of the room and chill. Could not have wished for a nicer place to stay in and it made our time in the city even more special. PS: We are 37 and 40 so guess that makes us a mature couple, just so you get an idea of our age.

De gastheer heeft er alles aan gedaan om het ons naar de zin te maken. Vriendelijke ontvangst, lekker ontbijtje, schone kamer. Prima verzorgd. B&B Kool Kaai ligt heel centraal met leuk uitzicht op de Schelde. Zeker een aanrader.

Prima zo goed als nieuw appartement. Goed gelegen T.O.V. centrum, mas en Schelde. Leuk uitzicht op de Schelde. En een heerlijk restaurantje om de hoek: www.delids.be

Perfecte ligging tegen centrum aan. De afgesloten parkeergarage in directe nabijheid. Kamer, keukentje: met alle faciliteiten en badkamer waren zeer proper én het bed: bijzonder comfortabel. Gratis Wifi beschikbaar. Pracht uitzicht riching het water.

Ontbreken van vitrage achter de gordijnen, maar eigenaar heeft toegezegd dat hier aan gewerkt wordt!

De musea, de locatie, goede eetgelegenheden , goed fietsbare stad.

Het appartement ziet er prachtig uit. Nog mooier dan op de foto'S. Zeer smaakvol ingericht, en heel mooie materialen gebruikt! Gastheer Perry is bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt is geweldig, 's ochtends staat er op de afgesproken tijd een soort picknickmandje voor de deur met verse broodjes, vers fruit, jus d'orange, kaas, vlees, melk, cruesli ... De ligging is ideaal - vlakbij de Antwerpse binnenstad, pal naast de Schelde en het Steen, maar op een mooi rustig plekje met uitzicht over het water.

Heel fijn dat je echt een appartement voor jezelf heb. Mooi uitzicht. Leuke stad. Fijne eigenaars
