Hotel La Legende  

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The private parking is very restricted and quite difficult to use. The situation of the hotel is superb, a 5 minute walk to the old city centre and the Mannekin Pis. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within easy reach.

For me, the biggest down-side was having a room in the main part of the hotel, overlooking the road. Unfortunately the Police station is only minutes away from the hotel and so you can hear sirens regularly, during the night as well. There are rooms in the courtyard and these don't have the same problem.

A very pleasant and quiet hotel dead in the center, but not the most touristic part even if close to Manneke Pis. Restaurants around the corner are frequented by locals. Ask for the courtyard if you want to avoid street traffic noice. Very pleasant if you do not need a huge breakfast: you do not have a 10 euro breakfast included! Around the corner is a bakery which offers simple breakfasts. Not cheap, but the price level in center Brussels is high.

Bed and room would have been small if you use it as a double room (but I was single, for one person: excellent).

This hotel was extremely close to the center of the old town, the market square. Manneken pis was right around the corner as well. The room was a triple and was very spacious and light. The bathroom was a good size, tiled and clean. The breakfast was good and all staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed staying at this hotel and would stay here again.

A few minor things- some tiles seemed loose in the bathroom and there was a "split" in the flooring. I think the hotel should invest in new windows at least for the rooms facing the street for sound. It wasn't bad though and was never woken in the night from noise but I could hear street noise when awake in room.

Small room, tv did not work in room 210, no shower courtain and no shower hose therefore water all over.

The location, the hotel room, the staff, the courtyard parking and the buffet breakfast were all excellent and we would definitely stay there again if we were in Brussels.

The location was great and so was the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us with boarding passes and getting a taxi to the airport which was very much appreciated. We were able to check in early. I would stay here again with pleasure.

This was our second trip to la Legende - we loved it last time and this time it was just as good or even better. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we were given a very warm welcome. We opted for an executive room this year which was lovely. The buffet breakfast is excellent and the location ( a minute from the Grande place and from the mannekin pis) is unbeatable. Around Christmas they have brilliant decorations and a wonderful display in the courtyard! very festive. We love it, we're hoping to come again next year.
