Hotel Matignon Grand Place is in a charming building across the street from the Brussels Stock Exchange. It has spacious accommodations and a restaurant on site.

This centrally located hotel is within 320 yards of Brussels' central Grand Place and an 8-minute walk from the Central Train Station. Hotel Opera has a 24-hour front desk, a tour desk and free Wi-Fi....

The location is perfect and the staff very friendly. Real Belgian atmosphere. When I booked the room I asked for a quiet room. I got a reply in a couple of minutes and the room was accordingly. Very nice place, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good and varied, good value for money.
Location, quiet, comfortable, staff and quick check-in.
worn laminate floor. Not enough tea/coffee in room. No iron or ironing board
Location great. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely return
rooms on the small side but comfy.
Good position neighbor to the "Manneken Pis " in the centre of Brussels. In the room there is the essential but definitely it's a good value for money. If I go back again in Brussels I will book in the hotel " La Legende ". I recommend it :-)
This hotel is only a block away from the Grand Place but it was quiet and quaint and very nice. It was very easy for us to walk anywhere from here and it was an excellent location to pop back into the hotel to drop thing off and head right back out. Our room overlooked the courtyard and main entrance and it was sill very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are very small but it was perfect for my husband and me.
We had a double room which was 2 twin beds pushed together. It was very comfortable but made it hard to sleep cuddled up with my husband.
Room was spotless, location ideal, central but quiet, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast choice good and fresh. I got a great price through booking.com. Would recommend for tourists and short visits. Beds were very comfy. Fridgette and kettle in room and iron available.
Nothing, my son and I both stayed 3 nights and were comfortable in the extreme.
Location is very good close to Grand Place. Wifi was excellent. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was fine.
The water in the shower took long to heat up. Neighbours were cery noisey.
Location was great - just a couple of blocks to Grande Place and the Gay District
Room too small and there was no closet or storage space
Room is a bit smelly, and water heater does not work.
the location was great and the staff could not do enough for you.
nothing everything was fine I did not use the Wi-Fi so I cannot comment on that
Location: excellent, between Manneken and Grand Place Reception: pleasant, helpful, they speak all languages...
We did not try to breakfast there. For 4, at 10 EUR per person we thought it was too expensive. We had breakfast at the waffle house (next corner) for 18 EUR / 4 persons.
It was amaaaaaazing Good location just steps from the grand place Nice staff Thanks for madam sofia she is a kind woman She upgraded my room to very a wonderful apartment Sure i will choose this hotel again
How close the hotel was too everything. Very convenient and great breakfast
The location is best. And the staff is very good.
The breakfast was not bad, but not so nice.
The desk staff were caring angry efficient. Alec(Alex?) went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating. He had a great sense of humor and made every interaction fun. The in hotel breakfast was very tasty and a very fair price. It made starting the day so much easier without having to roam around looking for food. The breakfast staff were great as well as the housekeeping staff. This was a very clean establishment. The room was simple and not plush but everything worked and was quite large.
In a perfect world it could have been more recently updated. In a few years it may seem too dated but for now I would happily stay there again with no hesitation.
All works has should be. Very efficient staff. Sleeping in comfortable bed. WIFi works and his free. Located a few steep from central places. Good money value.
location hassle free check in nice cosy entrance
not enough facilities in room such as kettle, free water . you could hear people in the adjacent room
Excellent location, easy to find and signage is obvious (I found some places in Europe weren't obvious), is in the middle of the city. Grand Place is a minute away, as is Mannekin Pis. Rue des Bouchers/ Beenhouwersstraat (streets full of Belgian dishes and specialties, very touristy) is less than 5 mins away too. 15-20 mins walk from Brussels-Midi/Zuid (I came in on Eurostar) and 5 mins to Brussels Centraale Station (easy to get to airport from there, and other parts of Belgium like Bruges). My room had great sound proofing - it faced the street but I could not hear a thing when the windows were shut. Check in and check out was quick and simple. Had a smaller hotel vibe. I felt very safe in Brussels and in this hotel.
Everything was great - simple and clean. If anything, Wifi was in and out a little bit - if that is something you really depend on - but not a big deal for me.
great location staff was friendly
wifi didn't work so well on the 3rd floor
It was dirty clothes in the washing machine. We found a rectal thermometer in the kitchen drawer. It was old food in the kitchen cabinets. TV did not work and there were cables coming out of the wall in the bedroom.
Location was excellent. Within walking distance of many attractions including the Mannukin Pis, the gorgeous square and the Moof museum. Close to lovely quaint café district but definitely need a map to set you off in the right direction. Staff very kind and obliging. Parking facilities was essential.
Parking essential at a cost but very very small and difficult to manuver into the tiny slot. Breakfast was a little expensive at 10 euros per person and per child. I did question this but to no avail. They had a little dog which fouled outside the hotel. I did accidentally step in it once. The hotel room was very nicely decorated but room seemed unfinished due to wire sticking out of wall, socket space on wall not filled in...just gaping hole. Flooring between the two adjoining rooms small piece of flooring missing and the other piece sticking out of place.... kids stubbed toes on it once or twice. Our room was meant to have a balcony... I would have had to climb up to the windowsill and out through the window to reach iron balcony which had no base.... wasn t really a balcony! Room was always clean and beds made up every day.
Friend left her computer in the lobby and they held on to it until we returned a few days later. Very awesome staff. Great water pressure in the shower.
It was perfect.... they were so accomdating.
Great location. Nice staff. A more charismatic breakfast room than many hotels.
The thin walls. The man next door talking to his wife, his snoring, in fact his every move was amplified by the bedroom wall that should have divided us.
Friendly, honest and good service. Everything was in proper order. Location is excellent.
It was a nice room, firm mattress, sizable bathroom well lit. No speculoos biscuit with the travel kettle! And the breakfast in the morning was good fare (not included in room price). Location is fantastic, about three minutes walk from Bourse Metro station and the rooms face the back so there's little street noise.
There was only one thing that was wrong with the hotel room and that was that a number of fixtures were noticably broken - a bedside lamp, the main ceiling light. I suspect they've been broken for some time.
