We enjoyed everything about La Maison d'Edgar. We were late checking in and called in advance. Yves was super nice and welcoming, saying that it was not a problem. We wish that we had had more time to enjoy the house, which is gloriously furnished with antiques. We had the two bedroom separate apartment (one double bed and two singled) and were stunned with the attention to detail. Bathroom is completely new. We elected to have breakfast and in the process had a delightful conversation with Yves (a lovely host). We found easy parking, and there is a tram stop across the road which would provide easy access to the city. Such character to the whole abode! Thank you, Yves and family, for opening your lovely house to be shared with many, just as it was originally built by Monsieur Edgar.

Wonderful hosts, very helpful. Gave us a tip to a really great French restaurant which was walking distance from the B&B. Is in a quiet neighbourhood, but only a few tram stops away from the Centre of Brussels.

The house is fantastic and has been fully renovated maintaining the original style and many period features. The hosts are extremely charming and served us a generous breakfast. The room was actually a suite in the end with modern bathroom, large master bedroom and a small single room which we did not end up using. All tastefully decorated and in great state. Full marks.

La Maison d'Edgar is a charming vintage gemstone with squeaking hardwood floors and high ceilings. I loved the sound of burning wood at breakfast on a foggy, cold morning. It was magical! It is managed by its owners who are very nice and helpful.

Not recommended to persons with mobility-impairments.
