Score from 771 reviews Very good
The location was superb, just a few minutes' walk from the Grote Markt, and all the terrific museums and sights to see. Very comfortable beds, very friendly staff, and caring owners.
We stayed for four nights, but the room was not serviced at all. Maybe it was because we were in the attic, and a long way to climb!!!
We stayed here for two nights. It was an easy walk to the square and everywhere else. We had the white suite on the top (3 flights of stairs) but the owner helped lug our luggage up them. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of cheeses, breads and meat as well as yogurt and granola. We really enjoyed our stay. I would choose this place again.
We had the White apartment and were thrilled with the space, loads of room with a wonderful feel. We were able to completely relax after a day touring the city. Would definitely return if in the area!
The breakfast was lacking a hot dish, such as eggs. There is no lift so prepare for a hike, pack light!
We are so pleased that we found such great accommodation for our two nights in Bruges. The city itself was amazing and the B&B more than lived up to it's reviews and photographs. Only a few minutes walk from the central square with easy buses to and from the train station. Breakfast was relaxed, generous and lovely both days, occasionally meeting other friendly guests (or the house cat) at the table or in the hallways. We had complete freedom to come in and go out as we wished while feeling more like a house than just a stereotypical (and therefore boring) hotel. We can't recommend highly enough for a genuine Bruges experience!
Stunning house in the perfect location right in the heart of Bruges. They couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Have already recommended to friends.
Very minor things but could have done with a rail in the wardrobe to hang clothes up and a bin in the bedroom. Can't think of anything else because this place was amazing!!
I thought we only had a room in a B and B but when we opened the door it was a small apartment. Beautiful rustic floorboards, kitchen, loft. We loved it. Breakfast was great and location was an easy walking distance to the town centre. Staff couldn't have been more helpful
Beautiful house, which is elegant and homely run by lovely people. Delicious breakfast and most importantly it's in an Amazing location!
Great location and the room was very nice. All the staff were very friendly. We will return again.
Charming old building Location Spacious
No tea and coffee
The flat was very clean, unusual and very large. The bed was extremely comfortable. Loved views from the kitchen window. Locality was perfect. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent. Would highly recommend the White Apartment.
Friendly owner and staff, good location, reliable wifi, beautiful building, nice atmosphere.
Breakfast was at a communal table and was awkward getting coffee, etc. and also having to be social first thing in the morning. The water pipes made a loud groaning sound every time they were used. Sounds from the street were VERY loud. Lamp was hung too low, kept bumping head. Wasn't clear where to hang towels, finally found rusty nails in the wall (?) Couldn't close the shutters in the windows that had the screen, directly exposed to rooms across the street. Towels felt very used. Which was all tolerable, we're not that demanding, but at the price you'd expect much better.
Really good location, very close to all of the places we wanted to visit. Very friendly staff and owner. Our apartment was huge, very nice decor and very comfortable. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again
- Very close to city centre - Nice staff
- Bathroom wasn't very clean - Strange facilities placement in bathroom - No free parking - Breakfast with unknown people on one big table
Everything ! What an amazing house , recently renovated ancient house . Superb location and wonderful hosts , great value for centre of bruge .
- Breakfast is poor. - Kitchenette didn't worked that well.
The whole place was gorgeous and really tastefully done, I would definitely recommend it and stay again!
Wi fi, location, breakfast, rabbit in the backyard and nice fat cat. Good value for money
No air conditioning so we had to open windows and because of that we always had mosquitoes in the room There was a window between room and toilet with no curtain... We could see receptionust only on 3rd day after arrival We asked for.twin bed and they confirmed it, but we got double bed... There is an Alco bar by the corner, so it was noisy at nights
The building was beautiful, spacious and grand. They had the right balance of looking after us and leaving us to be. Central location, yet on a quiet street.
The owner was very friendly and the accommodation was beautifully decorated.
Lovely large apartment White Bis. Washing machine was a bonus.great location. Helpful staff.
Would have loved a bath tub. Wood floors are very rough and need sanding so guests don't get slivers in their feet. Needed a kettle and kitchen towels which owners supplied when I asked.
Location, good breakfast, contact from the b&b before check in to give us information about check in, great wifi.
Lack of water power in shower, there seemed to be no water on one of the nights we stayed from the sink- we did advise them the next morning.
+ locality (max 2 minutes from Grote Markt and Burg markt) + Facilities, inside look (like in merchant houses in 19th centruy) + the owner is forniture maker and some of the facilities are his own work + many other things
- just sometimes you hear noise from corridor/rooms (as there is wooden floor) - but it is Ok, when you are considerate to other rooms.
Jamil gave us a wonderful welcome. We were very impressed with the sympathetic refurbishment of the building. It was quirky yet fascinating. The apartment was huge and we could have stayed comfortably for longer. Breakfast was varied and excellent. They made us feel at home.
There was nothing at all.
The room, the building, the location. Very grand and comfortable, good value for money.
