Beautiful art deco hotel with so much care put into the design. Gorgeous breakfast and good bar with plenty of selection. In trendy Ixelle- just 10 minutes walk from sounds jazz club. Perfect!

Our stay in Hotel Le Berger was truly pleasant...it is very close to the shopping districts, restaurants and supermarkets. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. The room is very nicely decorated. The room rather small probably because we get the most econmical one.

Lovely staff, nice bar/restaurant, quirky and pretty interior in the public areas, nice breakfast, located centrally and close to metro station During a large trade fair in Brussels, the hotel charged me more than €200 for a room that was no larger than a broom cupboard. They squeezed a double bed into the room, there was no room to walk next to the bed, it was wedged against the walls on both sides. The room had no telephone, no area to put down luggage, no wardrobe, no chair/desk, no toiletries, no coffee making facilities... All it was, literally, was a bed which pretty much filled the whole room, and a small bathroom where you had to bend your legs sideways if you wanted to sit on the toilet. Claustrophobic, and an absolute rip-off!

Roomy room. Decent breakfast in the price. Peaceful. This place is quirky, and will not be to everyone's taste. There is a lot of building work going on next door, which currently starts at 7am. It was not a problem for me as I was getting up anyway.

Mine was a business trip and as I dislike soulless hotel blocks I decided to give Hotel Le Berger a try. The hotel is well located for the European Parliament and Commission which were a brief walk away. The bed was comfortable and although there is no wardrobe for my one night stay hangers were perfect. I loved the stained glass window and being able to open the window which so many business hotels prohibit. Breakfast was excellent and was included in the most economical price I have ever come across for central Brussels. The Wifi worked first time and I had a strong connection throughout. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel and only hope its rising popularity does not prevent me making more bookings in the future! My main dislike concerns the bathroom. There was insufficient light in a small dark room and the water supply although plentiful was temperamental- too hot or cold. The soap dispenser did not work but fortunately I had my own shower gel.I realise this is a personal preference but I really dislike shower curtains and this is the situation in Room 401 Chloe.

Excellent breakfast and a comfortable bread. The sunken bath and hand-held shower made things difficult, the lack of information in the room and the general 'boudoir' ambience

This cosy hotel is located relatively close to the old city and close to the metro. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to others. A kettle and some teabags would have been nice.

The hotel was a hidden art nouveau gem of Brussels for a long time, a destination for rendez-vous with your secret lover. After an impressive fight to prevent this cultural pearl from destruction, it has now been renovated. Being well located in the centre, it can easily be a business hotel for those who search for something special as well as for tourists and love birds. First of all for those who can appreciate its beauty and history. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have all the necessary amenities. There are no wardrobes (in line with the ancient rendee-vous hotel image) which can be the only downside when you need to stay longer.

The hotel has a very friendly air about it. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. In room 104, the soap dispenser needs patience...meaning it takes a long time to have some soap out of it :)

The hotel is really beautiful and well refurbished. I love Art Deco and Art Nouveau and I was extremely impressed by the style; gorgeous. The rooms are very well decorated. The bathroom was beautiful; a real pleasure. Only one window in my room (#507), a small window, which is facing a wall (+/-1,50m distance). Almost no day-light. In addition, when you look through the window you can see a kind of wooden scaffolding which is full of pigeon poo.

Hotel with an amazing history and atmosphere, climate 30s. Art deco design. Despite the passage of time, good condition. Beds very comfortable, clean, without charge, daily clean towels. Free internet. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Pretty good location, close to metro and bus.Dobre breakfast, but unfortunately was not given weekday day of the product. No hair dryer in the bathroom and a small difficulty bath soap dispenser. Very unpleasant-unpleasant woman serving at breakfast. Preoccupied with his phone and did not order the buffet breakfast. We felt like intruders. Dug street, mess around, difficulties with the location of the car park. However, the weakest point of the employee at the hotel breakfast. Not to be topped, the next visit to Brukselii- we use it.

Fabulous good value hotel with character in the heart of Brussels. Excellent staff service, free wifi. If the prices stay like this then there is nowhere else that compares at this quality and price in Brussels.

The design is great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, as it is 5 minutes walking from the metro station Porte de Namur and 20 minutes walking fro the city centre. Rooms are nice and the entire hotel is designed in vintage style (20s of 20th century). No fridge in the room. Also, the hotel is in small street with no good view (buildings across the street).
