We liked the position overlooking a castle lit up at night and river down below. The hotel was full of oil paintings and quite quirky. The breakfast was good. Disappointed on our arrival as the hotel appeared empty, the log fire unlit and the bar closed. I'm sure the atmosphere would be very different at a busier time when the restaurant is open. |

Friendly and helpful family owners. Excellent food. Interesting, quirky furnishing (the public areas are stuffed full of paintings by local artists as well as interesting prewar tourism artefacts). Cosy log fire in the lounge. Panoramic but still convenient location. Full of character. The furnishings are a little tired and threadbare. It would improve the hotel if there were some limited and careful refurbishment which took care to avoid undermining the unique character of the hotel. |

Very cozy hotel with a great view of La Roche town and castle. Very friendly staff and nice breakfast included with the room. Free parking across the street. There is wi-fi internet available, but only in the restaurant and bar areas (not in the rooms). |

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the hotel is situated by a main road so there was a lot of traffice noise. |

Good situation on the edge of La Roche. From our room at the back we saw only trees which was no problem for us but the front rooms have a great view over the town. A short walk into town allowed us to leave car on their car park. |

It was escellent for my needs which were to use it as a base while taking daily motorcycle trips around the surrounding area.. There was an awful lot of noise from the street traffic particularly younsters racing loud motorcycles. Whether preventable or not I don't know. Maybe install a speed bump in front of the hotel on what is already a dangerous curve.. |

Petit Hôtel charmant, bonne cuisine, intérieur chaleureux, au soir après un très bon repas on prend place au salon bibliothèque dans des fauteuils confortables devant le feu ouvert. |

Een kop koffie of thee bij de openhaard is een aanrader. Kamers zijn zeer ruim en schoon. Wij hadden ook een ligbad in de badkamer. Iedere dag schone handdoeken. |

Verouderd hotel wat met kleine stapjes zaken vernieuwd waarbij de sfeer van vroeger geandhaafd blijft. Dit zal de één mooi vinden en de ander ouderwets. De keren dat we er konden eten was het eten prima. Het uitzicht vanuit de kamers is erg mooi op de rivier en het dorp. Buiten het hoogseizoen is het restaurant buiten het weekend gesloten. Je moet dan 5 minuten lopen naar het dorp waar dan voldoende keuze is uit restaurants. |

Wij hadden een kamer gereserveerd aan de achterkant. Omdat het niet druk was kregen wij zonder meerprijs een kamer aangeboden aan de voorzijde.veel groter en met een fraai uitzicht. |

Het hotel lag op een mooie plek. Het medewerkers spreken goed nederlands en ze zijn erg vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was super lekker. We hebben naar ons zin gehad. Het kamer was wel schoon, maar ze kunnen beter de spinneweppen en spinnen even weg halen. Voor de rest waren de kamers klein maar fijn.... |

Een gezellig interieur die de Ardense sfeer uitstraalt. Discreet. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Drukke weg en geen mogelijkheid om met kinderen ongestoord buiten te zitten. Dus best niet met kids. |

Het ontbijtbuffet was redelijk, omgeving en ligging leent zich uitstekend voor het maken van dagtrips. Zeer gehorig en zeer veel verkeerslawaai. Je gaat daar niet naar toe om tot rust te komen. Daarom ben ik dus eerder dan gepland vertrokken. |
